You know what? For how short it was there was a pretty good amount of plot, character development and relationship building so I'm pretty happy with this. Could it have used more of all of the above and been a bit longer? Sure, but I think there was a good balance.
There were three steamy scenes, two with all three of them and one with just Audrey. I like that we had a build up towards them, because even in novellas I want to know why I should care about the characters and their relationships with one another.
I wouldn't mind seeing more of these characters in the future, in another Halloween novella or just seeing how they're getting on now that it's passed.

Firstly, the foreword is hilarious. And I learned this author is an Aussie, which is cool.
She also mentions there may be inaccuracies. I wouldn’t be able to spot them, even if there were!
Anyway, I chose this novella because I wasn’t sure what kind of story I was in the mood for this spooky season.
There is a plot in the sense that certain things go on but there were hardly any descriptions and while I knew what I was gonna get in this story, I was hoping for just a little bit more.
So, Audrey makes a drunken confession then all of a sudden her brother’s two best friends have this agreement that they are both going to have her?
Like, did they talk about what they wanted, how it was going to work between them?
It’s just a little frustrating when they seem like they’ve been doing that for ages. I’d like to know if they’ve been in similar situations before…
There were some parts of the narration that I liked where it showed us how young Audrey is. For the rest of it, she either sounded much older or it was too on the nose.
Speaking of, I had to roll my eyes at some of the dialogue. So cliché! Then again, not so surprising, given the limited word count.
While I’ll likely not read this again, I appreciate it for what it tried to do. Though, I was slightly frustrated by the lack of information.

Audrey is going though a break up since she caught her ex sleeping with his best friend she’s off with her brother and his best friends to Salem to enjoy Halloween. It’s a rocky start since her brother is annoying but she has some good vibes with the brothers best friends.
It’s a pretty cute start the best friends Nate and Brax are super nice they don’t mind her tagging along. Visit to sex shop to get a first toy was pretty funny. And what a name Bugs ;)
To drinking and confessing at a graveyard her dirty fantasy. Now it’s a witch hunt that has Audrey running from 2 men in mask and how they take her is delicious.
But there is some awkwardness after between all three since they don’t know how to go forward.
It ends with a HFN between the three

Rating on a novella scale. I really liked this one a lot! For being a novella this did a wonderful job at building the plot. I really liked our fmc and the smut was a good time. I live in New York and just went to Salem so this was so relevant to me. Jealous of my girl I want two men to chase after me in a witch hunt too. Well really I want to also chase after them ahah. Fun and hot. I needed more from the men tho. I needed them more obsessed and the last smut scene was really rushed. I wish I got even a tad of background on either of them because then this would be higher but overall I had a good fun time! YAY HALLOWEEN SMUT. I want so much more of them UGH

This wasn’t as dark as I was anticipating, just kinky with clear consent given. Audrey changed her tune about saving herself pretty quickly when Nate and Brax showed their interest, but let’s be fair. Two hot guys you’ve been secretly crushing on wanting to play out your fantasies? Who wouldn’t jump on board the naughty express? I’m not huge into knife play myself, but it was done well and fit with the story. Overall, a fun novella.
