Just wow. When I thought I was getting a happily ever after at the end of this book, I was bitterly mistaken. What cliffhanger was that!
Lakey, our fierce and blood thirsty FMC picks up from where the last book left off - desperate for vengeance and to get back her daughter who is stuck somewhere in the bowels of Chimera.
She’s joined alongside with the equally fierce and bloodthirsty Cam. Who upon recent findings is a little eager to go and rescue Lilliana.
Follow them on a journey of what is hopefully the end of the Chimera Cult, and all the vile monsters that comes with it. Can Cam and Lake trust those around them?
This author is someone who’s rightfully taken up a spot in my head and I’m mighty glad I found her! Now if you could just release book 3, that’d be awesome 😍

I honestly don't know what to say about this book. I love this series and I adore Stephanie Swann. I don't normally read psychological thriller but I will read anything by Stephanie Swann, I adore her writing. I had honestly hoped that this book was going to give me the HEA that I so craved after the end of the first book, but I was so mistaken.
Lakey is our strong, fierce, and oh-so-very bloodthirsty FMC. She picks this book up from where the last book ended on that cliffhanger, and she remains focused on her own vengeance, fighting to get her own daughter back knowing that she is still bound somewhere in the depths of Chimera.
Next to her stands Cam who is just as determined to get Lakey's daughter back and will spill as much blood as needed to get Lakey's daughter back. He's just as bloodthirsty and fierce as Lakey. He's just a little too eager to put his life on the line to go bounding in and rip Lilliana from the depths of Chimera.
This is the adventure of what we can only hope will be the end of the Chimera Cult, hopefully, sooner than later, and hopefully we will see the end of all the monsters and ghouls that come with the cult.
But, can Lakey and Cam trust all those who have allied themselves to their mission?
I can honestly say that Stephanie Swann has earned her place to live rent-free in my head. I will be honest and say that I came across her first book by accident, and I am happy that I read that first book and jumped on this twisted adventure. Now, I just need book 3 to be released so I can dive into it and find out what happens next.

Cam and his touch her and die and protective personality are top notch. But lakey is a b.a. all on hwr own too . I absolutely love their chemistry and woo baby the spicy scenes..Their sparks when they are together is so good... 🥵 this book was packed with action and suspense... never a dull moment!!! you see more anout who and what makes up chimera in this book which i found interesting... Ugh.. The cliffhanger gets me every time. This is book 2 in the series and you have to read book 1 to know what's going on. Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off. Cam and Lakey are in search for their daughter and to take down Chimera. This whole story was intense and had me at the edge of my seat, though, I was getting slightly annoyed at the amount of times Cam and Lakey were on top of each other. Like... come on guys.. really important things are happening right now, can you save it for later??? Aside from that, they are both their usual twisted, dark selves. My heart is still hearting for Rose and I either need her to be fixed or seriously avenged! Definitely check this series out. It's soooo worth the read!

Mind blown! I didn’t think I could love a book more than the first in the series but I freaking do!! And I keep wanting more!!
This is an intense dark read that seamlessly picks up from Twisted Little Nightmare. I recommend starting with book 1 first. Cam and Lakey’s journey continues full of secrets, danger, twists and surprises as Cam and Lakey take on Chimera.
The author's writing of the storyline for this book was exceptionally impressive and noteworthy, exceeding expectations and demonstrating a high level of skill and creativity. I was with bated breath, on pins and needles, and utterly consumed…I just could not put the book down. I had to know!! And then there was the cliffhanger!! I was like OMFG …. Noooo! Book 3 can’t come fast enough!!!

OMG when I said that Wicked Little Nightmare what amazing you haven't seen anything yet! Starts right where WLN leaves off, where our faithful team of Lakey, Cam, Rose, Kyle, and Sarah are on the run. Chimera is on their tails the whole time. The passion and heat between Lakey and Cam is hot. While reading this I felt like I was asking a question and my answer was nowhere near where I thought it was. It was better. The loops and hoops this story is taking have me on a ride I never want to get off of. I hope that Stephine keeps Lakey and Cam around for a while. They are gold. Now I do demand book 3 come out asap because that cliffhanger is one for the books!.

This book blows my mind...I've read quite a few dark books in my life however some of the crazy things Chimera does just has me cringing. I really enjoyed this book it really kept me on the edge and I just love Cam and Lakey. That ending really left me hanging though it's going to be hard to wait until the next book to see what happens! One of my favorite Lakey quotes :"Monster, a small voice whispered in the back of my mind. I held onto that word because that’s what I was. What we were. Beautiful little monsters. Twisted little dreams. The kiss of death. I'd made my peace with what I was a long time ago."

I don’t even know what to say, that was insane. Horrifying the things done to women and babies. The things they did to Rose and were doing to Lakey. Gut wrenching. The devotion and determination in this book to save the people they love and take down this crazy cult. A spicy adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Talk about a cliffhanger though. Can’t wait to see what happens next. I need to know what happens. My mind is still processing everything I just read.

Where to begin with this? This book is such a good follow up to Wicked Little Nightmare. I didn't think it could get darker, but it did, in such delicious ways. Reading Cam and Lakey's growth as characters was so good. The spicy scenes were PLENTY spicy and HOT. This book is darker, grittier, and expands the world of the Shattered Souls series so well. I CANNOT wait for book three!

I can't say enough about this book, Lakey and Cam love chaos and unhinged things, but this time things are out of their control as Cam tries to save Lakey and Lillianna from the clutches of Father Christopher and his lab goons as I call them. Lakey and Cam are on a mission to save their daughter from a group who restructures people's brains in to their own molding. Lakey and Cam would burn down the world to save eachother and to save their daughter. Please read the trigger warnings before hand. This book turned me upside down with my feelings but I love how Lakey and Cam would go through any length to take down Chimera.

As with Wicked Little Nightmare, this story is intense and dark so please make sure you check trigger warnings before you start reading Twisted Little Dream. This story definitely keeps readers on the edge of their seats. The characters are fantastic! Their story is completely consuming and it's full of drama, chaos, danger, twists, turns and surprises that you won't see coming. It also ends on a cliffhanger (*^#^^#*^) BUT, not too much longer and we'll have Tainted Little Sin.

we are back with lakey and cam, the dream couple. they want to infiltrate chimera and get their daughter back as well as rose, but the tables turn quickly. with lilli under close watch because she is The Vessel, patient Y has his hands full with a crazy rescue mission. will cam get their in time to save everyone? ugh…gotta wait for book 3. this knocked it out of the park for me…kudos! highly recommend this series!

I absolutely loved this dark twisted read! It took off right were book one left off! Thankful I had book 2 to dive into right away! Continuing to follow Cam and Lakey, both having been through a lot, you really see their determination overcoming their obstacles. The book really dives into some dark themes so check the trigger warnings before reading. Really left me hanging there gahhh can’t wait for book 3, Tainted little sin!! Oh and need the novellas too 😍

OMFG!
This was so freaking wonderful! Second book in the Shattered Souls series and omg I need more!
Stephanie is fantastic at making you get absorbed into her books!
At the end of book 1, everyone finds out that the girl Lakes is looking for is her daughter. Not even Cam knew that. But now they all know and he knows she’s his.
The plot though?!? Omg!
There’s the normal spice between Cam and Lakey but the action and drama is fantastic!
I can’t wait for book 3! Ends on a cliffhanger though!

Twisted Little Dream is book 2 in the Shattered Souls series. After the cliffhanger ending of book one, this story continues the story of Cam and Lakey. We see them try to take on Chimera again and get to the bottom of discovering exactly what has been done to them.
Like book one this is a dark story, it features medical experiments, secrets, drama twists and turns and one heck of a cliffhanger. Another great story, can't wait to read book 3.

Ok I thought one came out the gate swinging it had nothing on 2!!! This one had me on the edge of my seat the entire time!!! The twists and revelations in this one OMG!!! Absolutely fantastic!!! That cliffy was NOT NICE!!! Diving into book 3 now bc I can’t stop!! I have to know what happens!! Love Cam & Lakey!!! They are so awesome!! The banter was perfection!!! The plot was captivating and I just couldn’t out it down!!

Cam and Lakey story continues, the dark twisting depth that people wil lgp to tear their family apart, and nothing will stop Cam from getting his girls back. Well written engaging steamy action drama and more ends on another cliffy.

I don't think my heart rate slowed down even for a minute reading this book.The characters in this book are so twisted they will never be able to live a normal life again and damn if that doesn't make you want to read more. I can't wait to see if the group are able to wipe out the Chimera and the willing participants in the next book.

We are back for book two so if you enjoyed the first book you be loving the second book. The story had my heart racing while reading it the plot was written so well. cam and Lakey story continue in this story, and it had my heart in a chokehold. As always make sure to the read the trigger warnings before reading the story.

Whew!! Please read the trigger warnings for sure because this book starts off high stakes and doesn’t let up. It’s a ride that had me needing more. I’ll leave it at that. Any more and I’ll spoil it. I absolutely recommend this book.

After the cliffhanger ending of book one, Wicked Little Nightmare, we are back with Cam and Lakey as they try to take on Chimera and figure out exactly what has been done to them.
Cam and Lakey are the perfect sociopathic couple; those who slay together stay together.
My favourite quote is from Cam to Lakey, which highlights their devotion to each other.
"You keep me from splitting open and devouring demons who walk inside human flesh. You reign in the darkness if you ever .... leave me, the world will not know peace ".
This book is a fantastic read Well written, the characters come alive, the good, the bad and the monsters. This is a book filled with medical experiments cults, bloodshed and mayhem, secrets and the undying love of two sociopaths.
