With Our Bellies Full And The Fire Dying by Debra H. Goldstein is a well written, entertaining collection of eighteen short stories that include something for everyone to enjoy. It includes mysteries that are full of crime, drama, love, family and sinning and redemption that made me read it from cover to cover. I received a copy of this book from the author and these opinions are my own. I rated it a five.

Already a fan of Debra H Goldstein and these tightly-written stories (all of which won awards or were published elsewhere) are each a world of lovers, friends, family, or strangers connected by crime. I'm glad the author compiled them into a book, since I wouldn't have known to look if not for this collection of wicked, intelligent gems.
