Great collection of tge other books in the series. There is humor, romance, and heart in each story.
The characters are interesting to read about in each story and it is nice when characters from other stories pop up too. Good pacing and worth the read.

Fun boxset collection from author Susan Hatler! I love her books!!! I've read two of the 5 so far and will update as I read more! For now I'm rating it 4.5* and rounding up in my overall star rating but will adjust as I read the others.

~ONCE UPON A DATE, Book 6~ 5* ~
A super fun and cute twist on Cinderella. Struggling writer Michelle Moss ends up at a masquerade ball with her friend. Only to hide in the corner with her laptop, with her glass slipper decal on it, to show the editor who denied her manuscript that her book was amazing and it would be published by sending it out to other editors. Take that unimaginative editor! But her plans go a little awry when the other person at the table shows up and has mesmerizing blue eyes and the sparks between them have her dancing in his arms faster than she can blink! Of course send in a few unexpected emergencies and she's dashing off into the night, leaving her Prince Charming with an amazing kiss and her laptop too!

What happens next is darling and, for Michelle, unexpected. Somewhat predictable for the reader though. Getting her laptop back and reconnecting with her high school flame, Michelle finds herself living out the sweet romance in her book. With ups and downs and a stepbrother who keeps putting a wrench in her plans, this laugh out loud and darling modern Cinderella story had me hooked. I devoured it every chance I could. I really loved the chemistry between Michelle and her Prince Charming. There were of course a few moments where I wanted to give him a piece of my mind (Michelle too) but he definitely lived up to the title of Charming. His moments of almost telling Michelle his feelings for her were very swoony!

If you're looking for a charming read I definitely recommend this one. I loved it! I loved the beginning, the uncertainty, the frustrations, the meet cute, the story within a story, the Prince coming in to save the day, the coffee barista (who is an important character in each book in the series), the friends and roommates, the sparks and chemistry, the coming to know one's self, the sweet romance...everything! Darling and worth the time!

Content: Clean. Some sweet and swoony kisses and nothing further!

~THE ISLAND DATE, Book 7~ Haven't Read Yet ~

~ONE FINE DATE, Book 8~Haven't Read Yet~

~THE DATE MISTAKE, Book 9~ Haven't Read Yet ~

~THE DECADENT DATE, Book 10~ 4* ~ Sweet, second chance story about Tabitha and Spencer. After not seeing each other for many years and being surprised that they are both owners of his grandparents' restaurant, it was a humorous and emotional reunion for these two. Lots of great banter between them. But the sparks and chemistry was still there even after all of these years.

I loved the memories that kept surfacing allowing us readers a glimpse into their growing friendship when they were younger and finally getting to understand why Spencer left. So good! And made me a little teary-eyed at some points, especially in regards to his grandparents' sweet love story!

Fun to be back in the Do-Over Date world and see some previous characters! I love this author's books. Her tagline definitely fits her books. Fun and flirty!!! I love them!

Content: Clean.

Once Upon a Date: Funny, quick, modern day version of princess style romance. It was a fun story, for some strange times, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a standalone story however I’ve “met” Michelle in previous books. I finally get to find out her story. The Island Date: Oh boy. Opposites Krista and Mason light up the island! I love how they both come into their own. One Fine Date: I know it isn’t funny how uncomfortable Kari is in the big city but she just keeps (literally) tumbling into suit-wearing/straightlaced Adrian. They were fun. The Date Mistake: Okay, the ‘meet-cute’ between Martina Maxwell and Turner Easton is hilarious. Mistaking him for her blind date? Funny. Literally falling into his arms? Hilarious. I laughed and laughed at the work date where they ended up under a table… The Decadent Date: Tabitha and Spencer are a special couple. They broke my heart but then stitched it back together again. They really had some tough things to “get over” in their pasts.
