After 11 years in Azkaban prison, Draco Malfoy unexpectedly finds himself a free man at last. What does he decide to do with this freedom? Develop a soul-crushing obsession with Hermione Granger-Weasley, of course.
Upon reentering the world, determined to lock himself away for the rest of his days, he is forced immediately into joining a long-standing ritual of Friday night drinks. He sees that the life he imagined for Hermione is not at all the one she is living, she seems to be miserable - exhausted, overworked, and trapped in a loveless marriage.
For Draco, this simply will not do. He will use any means necessary to have her for his own, including but not limited to: stalking, lying, shapeshifting, gaslighting, violence, and murder.
This was disgusting and I just loved it. It was refreshing to see a creepy, stalker Draco that wasn’t a complete delinquent and gross. One thing that I hated was making Ron the enemy.
this was a literal rollercoaster. it was so fun to read but i do wish it was longer and a litttttle more drawn out. the slow burn was definitely slow burning 🔥 and boy did it BURN. this was slightly creepy and weird but i think that’s why i loved it LOL. joe goldberg but make it draco🤝🏼.
Sadly it was very short and a little too fast-paced for my taste but I still enjoyed it. I would say it was a longer one shot but that's okay.
Getting Dark!Draco in a dark romance way was interesting to read and thrilling. Especially with the scene with the lift. I wish that would have came up at some point again...like is bro still down there?! Some stuff were a bit.... weird.
For me the story had potential to be a big story, with more interaction with the old and new friends, getting more help to socialize again, more stalking, more beef with Ron, more drama...
I am not sure what to say about Ron to be honest. Maybe this was something I would disagree with but I know this is a difficult topic in the fandom.
At first I thought I was reading something from YOU because he gave some Joe vibes and I got a little scared how it will end.
The epilogue came very quick too, got a little confused by it. Like what is with the box now??? Will it be forever a 'creepy' mystery and secret?!
This was a super quick snack, but I SO enjoyed it! Stalker Draco. Major. Like, a bit psycho. And Ron is SO AWFUL-- this was the worst Ron I've ever read (in terms of his behavior), and wow I love a good Ron bashing. Ron and Hermione are married and it's not the best marriage. At all. Draco sees that, and starts working with Hermione at her business. Has a very spicy scene. The book was very short, so everything is fast-paced and to-the-point. This is also all in Draco's POV, which I haven't read many in just his POV. So that was interesting. Some very unhinged behavior from Draco, though, and it was amazing lol Very good, quick read!
4 stars. 1.5 Spice Right out of prison, runs into pansy who is friend with golden trio. His whole body is tatted and on this left chest is an open book with a page tuning, for hermione Is a metamorphmagi, can change his hair like nymphadorma Ron bashing Takes place 2009ish. Draco funds the book store and works with her. “After 11 years in Azkaban prison, Draco Malfoy unexpectedly finds himself a free man at last. What does he decide to do with this freedom? This is very Joe from You coded but I loved it. I kinda likes stalker/ obsessive Draco it worked for him in this scenario. I lowkey want to know more about the Luna, Neville, and Blaise thrupple! Thank you Cort for posting about this!
3.5 I actually really enjoyed this, but the ending was just so rushed. It felt like it ended halfway through. I wished it was longer because there was definitely some potential there.
estuvo ok. entretenido, el plot un poco tonto por partes pero se lo perdono porque quería leer algo ligero y a un malfoy como el de esta historia y cumplió
ugh i love dramione. do i think these characters acted canonically? no, not at all- it was absolutely bat shit crazy out of character but i’m still obsessed.
This was a lot better than it had any business being. Super quick read, Draco is traumatized from Azkaban and basically stalks Hermione until he gets what he wants.
