Miss Eve knew that her boyfriend was cheating but wouldn't make a move until she had proof.
Girl....👀 You saw he was moving funny, not giving you what you needed, and your gut feeling was enough to move the hell on! But had to wait until he played in yo face, to turn into batwoman? 😤

Saint was just out here wildin' in these streets with women but made sure to take care of business and home. His son MyHeir was his heart, and he loved being the top tattoo artist. He was rough around the edges, and said whatever came to mind, but had a kind heart to those he cared for.

Saint and Eve meeting was supposed to just be a gathering of friends, until Saint added the roleplay aspect to it. That just upped the ante, and they fell into their roles a lil too well. They enjoyed spending time together more than they thought they would and wanted more.

Eve turned into a new woman with Saint by her side. Bossed up on Adrian's wack ass and seemed more confident all around. Saint also changed being with Eve, he was softer (well as soft as he could be), catered to her, and loved being in her presence. He had never felt like this for any other woman before. I really liked them together.

Now this messy drama with Kona, Neci, and Diara got on my last nerves! 🤯 I don't know why Saint didn't just send LeLe to handle all three of them! 🤬 Few typos, but decent read.

3.5 read!!

Saint had me laughing this whole story. His character did a complete switch once Eve came into his life. I will say that parts of the story felt very repetitive which is why I rounded down. I was tired of Kona, Neci and Adrian—they could disrespectfully kick rocks.

I did enjoy the banter and them learning to love one another. A very enjoyable quick read nonetheless

I like it

Overall I enjoyed this book. I like the messiness and this book was a good pick for my BOOKCLUB. I like the fact that the FMC was not playing about what her ex did to her. The MMC being a dad and handling his business made me like the book even more.

a good man

This was such a cute read .. a man who stands on business is always top tier for me 😌. Saint knew what and who he wanted and applied the right amount of pressure to get it… He had my girl leaving the softest of life and I love that for her … he played no games when he it came to Eve and she played none when it came to HIM….
Between his bum BM, her bald behind trailing ex and delusional Debby they all can get ran over by a bus 🤷🏾‍♀️😭.

Overall, this was a nice quick read. I love to see a woman boss up after dealing with a no good 🥷🏾. That alone made the story a good. But Eve and Saint were cute, he played with the others- but was playing no games with Eve.

Don’t you just love a f**k boy

Eve just knew that her ex was hurting her by breaking up with her to be with the Walmart greeter🙄 yet he did her a favor. Saint was to dang honest but I loved that about him. The trip neither wanted to go on was the start of their Happy Ever After. This book had the perfect tempo for me with alil spice. Saint has been added to the bae club with his gentle aggression 😜. MyHeir name along with his relationship to his father was so beautiful. Perfect book for me

Listen, I loved Saint! He was a MAANNNN!!! He had zero filter, he meant everything he said and backed it all up with action…good, bad, and otherwise. I love that he didn’t play any games when it came to Eve. I cackled every time he put her in her place. Like “WOMAN YOU’RE GONNA HAVE A SOFT LIFE WHETHER YOU WANT IT OR NOT!”🤣 I also love that she was a strong FMC, and that she didn’t make Saint pay for the sins of her ex. This book had likable characters, good banter and chemistry, and a nice healthy dose of mess! Between her ex, his BM, and his former f—k buddy though there were more a$$ whuppings that needed to be handed out. The audacity was high with those 3.

This was a good read!

I really enjoyed this. Now there were a lot of errors but I enjoyed Saint and Eve. I love a story that has just the right amount of drama and thank God there wasn’t a third act break up. I’m glad that all their friends were rooting for them from the beginning and that they saw what they didn’t at first. Kona is trifling. Neci is delusional. ExBoyfriend of Eve is trash. Loved everyone else though.

- This was a fast-paced romance I ate all the way up. I feel like Eve and Saint fit each other well and I’m glad my girl Eve bossed up on that lame Adrian !!!
- Saint and his mouth had me cracking up almost every time he opened his mouth !! He sholl had a bad taste in women though.
- Saint stood on everything he said and he did not play with Eve or about her from the jump.
- Neci , Adrian , and Kona all irritated me bad !!!!!

Role play right into forever

Eve and Saint were so cute together! I love when two people who aren't looking for something stumble upon each other and find their forever. Saint didn't play about her and him agreeing to do everything with her for the weekend was so sweet. I loved how they made the long-distance work and that both their exes got what they deserved.

The Second Half Saved It!

Full transparency, this book was almost a DNF for me, and here's why... For almost 40% Saint was a dog-a$$ F-boy to the women he hooked up with, and it was unappealing and cringy to read him be like that for that long. Just because he was not in a committed relationship and was only hooking up with them, didn't make it OK for him to be rude and disrespectful over and over. There was nothing that said grown man or BDE sexy about that. But I obviously kept reading, so I digress... and as the saying goes, for the right one, you will. Apparently, Eve was Saint's right one because from day one, he handled her much differently and to see him evole for and because of her was so cute and sweet. The second half of this book kept me smiling and sniggling and giggling over just how much he didn't play about her and how she didn't play about him either. I ended up really liking this book and these characters, and Saint completely won me over in the end.

Goof story. I loved Eve and Harlan together. They were so sexy and fucking cute for one another. Kona should of got her ass beat. Their were some grammatical errors and some inconsistencies for example Saint saying him and Tre didn't kill women and children but he killed a woman earlier when he came to collect money and Lavar was banging the chick in his office. But the overall story was spicy and full of laughter and crazy shenanigans.

Saint and Eve are easily one of my favorite couples I’ve read about this year. Who would’ve thought that pretending with a stranger could lead to finding your soulmate? A confident woman and a devoted single dad coming together made for such a beautiful story! There were no games, just genuine connection.

Good read

Harlan(Saint) & Eve! A good story for me is when I feel like I'm in the room. When the two main characters finally meet, if feels authentic! And a change between two people happens. This love story isn't sweet, but is real ish!

typos 😖 annoying. also harlan was truly an asshole. i didn’t care for his language or attitude at his first- just seemed over the top rude. but i’m glad he calmed down when he met eve. him and eve were good together, i suppose. eve was handling her business 😂 first with adrian and his chick and then getting in diara and neci’s ass 😭 little mouthpiece on her for sure. overall, decent read. giving it 3.5 rounded up.

Nobody Loves Me Like You Do by Tacarra is a fast-paced character driven forced proximity strangers to lovers urban romance. While I felt that the book started off pretty slow, all in all I think the pacing was decent and, while I'm able to suspend reality for the sake of the story, I have to admit that the story of Eve and Saint unfolded in a mostly believable way. While I found the story entertaining, there was very little character development and I didn't find the main characters Eve and Saint that likable. Saint had a pretty nasty attitude and Eve came across as judgmental, which was weird because she was in a longterm relationship with a cheating man who wasn't committed to her.

I wish Tacarra told us more about Kona, her background, and her relationship with Saint. I think this background would explain why the two were at odds and also would've been good character development for Saint, who is a pretty grumpy, angry character.

I also think more insight into Eve's relationship with Adrian would've benefited the story, too. The main characters don't even meet until about 30% in the book. All the chapters before the Friendsgiving, a crucial point in this story, could've been dedicated to character development.

To me, Nobody Loves Me Like You Do by Tacarra is a decent story and I recommend it to fans of urban romance who prefer drama, problematic characters and a HEA.

About the book: the book started off great then I felt like the last 20%-30% was rushed. The book starts off Eve is thriving in her career and in a perfect relationship of 5 what could go wrong. Well that know good ex of her text her that he wants to end the relationship out the blue and he is I love with one else. And she probably would’ve been fine if she wasn’t going on this couples trip. Now she stuck be the single one out of the whole group. Well that’s until Saint shows up a major player but when he sees Eve he wants to role play and act like a couple while on the trip. Well one thing led to another and they could say out of eat others skin. And the fact people from their past kept wanting to get them back was crazy. I mean Eve whooped her ex and new boo with a bat and that man still tried to come back. And Saint two women were just delusional.

What one man won’t do another man will willingly. Harlan was Bae!!!!!! Because who doesn’t love a man who keeps to his self but is always standing on business. That man loved his son and his people and was about his money. How does close proximity keep these two at bay for so long. A trip that neither Saint nor Eve wanted to go on turned out to be the best decision either of them made. Baby when he told Eve let’s just role-play while we’re on this trip. I would have lost my damn mind. Eve deserves an award for holding out as long as she did. Nothing more sexy than a man that’s confident and unapologetic with his words and actions, but in a respectful in good way. Eve was a firecracker and I loved it for them both. But what is a book without some hating ass people or drama. Saint showed with his actions and respected and reassured Eve without being told or asked. Eve was not a stupid girl like most FMC she called and told her man the deal and he handled that shit. 👩🏾‍🍳💋💋💋💋💋💋To see this unconventional yet enduring love story unfold was everything. This is my first book by this author, and I will be back. Tacarra girl if this is how the rest of your book with some 🌶️🌶️ you have your self a new fan!!!!!!

Oh wow I really enjoyed Saint and them together
Both wasn't looking all because both of there cousins invited them to Friendsgiving went without a hitch especially after....

Saint suggested that they Roleplay being together only lead to long distance relationships and him finding his person Both family liked them being together....

And Adrian you made your bed lye in it Grass wasn't greener on the other side get over it ....


Neice was getting on my nerves Especially when you see he doesn't want you first you pop up at his house dead wrong then show up to the cabin only to get your feelings hurt more then the last lose your job dumb I would have left it alone time ago especially if he ain't showing he even wants the same thing!!!!!

Daria got on nerves to all the women were right you need to take that up with your man But I feel like they said he only stayed because he knows the other bm ain't going to deal with it But also seems like he's not going to stop seeing the other either...

𐙚.°• Eve and Saint have a special place in my heart. I love when a fu*k boy goes ahead and finds his one. Because Saint went from hardly caring about any women to all up on Eve. It was like he needed her, and she sure needed him. Because of her trifling ex, who fumbled the bag. I thought their little "rope play" was cute because it was the stepping stone for them to see how well they will work. I love seeing how their love blossomed for each other. Especially seeing Saint heal everything that was broken in Eve. And he sure didn't play about her. Made sure a smile stayed on her face. Everything about this book was good. From the drama, bs and the love I highly recommend.

Harlan and Eve

This book was so goodt! I like the fact that Saint laid out the fact that he was Harlan to Eve and Saint to everyone else. Saint was enamored with Eve from the beginning and I think the “roll playing” was for him to see if she was someone who he could actually vibe with to possibly entertain the idea of being in a relationship with. They were set up unbeknownst to them by Tre and Iren who played matchmakers with Saint and Eve. I like how family was more than just being blood relatives and the closeness of their family dynamics. Saint wasn’t playing any games with Adrain and showed him that he meant what he said. I wanted to know what happened with the case against Eve and did Marcus and Diara split up. I was pleasantly pleased that the epilogue detailed Saint and Eve married and that they had a baby princess named Eva. I also wondered had they moved into a new house.

Saint and Eve…Yessssssssss!!!!!

Every now and then characters are crafted that pull you in leaving you vested in their world. Saint and Eve fit that bill. Thank you for not writing the mains as a drama driven bird and f-boy. Eve loving herself enough not to go backwards to entertain Adrian was a true breath of fresh air. Not all women are love drawn or gullible enough to stay or take a cheater back. Too many main female characters in too many books are depicted that way. Some women are standing on their ten and refusing to be handled that way. I appreciated Saint keeping it real calling out Kona and staying out of her bed. Some me stand on their ten as well…Saint was the truth…We need more of him and Eve. Holding each other down committed to one another…You kept the necessary noise out leaving us with a great read…Bring Saint and Eve back..

Although the MMC was doing the most, I can appreciate that he was doing the most as a single man...a Lone Ranger...a single Pringle. Thank goodness it wasn't another MMC pretending to want to be in a relationship while dogging someone out. Now, he did take advantage of a couple situations knowing he wasn't all the way right. But he did so without being a cheater. Still a dog...but not a cheating one lol. Who am I trying to convince? And what am I trying to convince them of? I have no clue. Just thought I'd throw it out there lol.

The MMC does have questionable taste in women, though. He did pick a horrible bm and everyone knows that you don't get involved with people you work with.

The MMC was set that he was content with the single life...that is until he pretends to be a fake boyfriend to the FMC for a couple's trip they find themselves on... but neither has a partner. The FMC definitely had to get it together quickly because in the beginning I thought she was going to be one of those annoying women that stay blind to bs. Thankfully, that wasn't her.

If you want a sprinkle of messy drama while also reading about two characters falling in love, read this one. It's worth it.

I love a good insta connection read. Eve was fresh off a breakup. Going on a couples trip with family and friends, she meets Harlan “Saint” St Clair. Saint was a single man doing single man things. With both of them being single, they decided to role play as a “couple” and things we off from there. It from pretending to be a couple, to the real thing fast. Of course Eve’s ex, Saint’s sneaky link and his baby mama tried to make things difficult for the new couple. None of that mattered to them though. Saint and Eve was standing ten toes down behind each other.

I loved this book just like I love all Tacarra’s books! Y’all should check out her catalog!!
