My grandmother used to beat me while screaming that I was cursed.
I never truly believed it, but now? I definitely do.

After that, I began a downward spiral, fully accepting all the hateful things my grandmother used to scream. I fell into a marriage with a cold-hearted bastard.
I did manage to escape and pick myself back up. I began a new life in North Carolina—just me and my son.
Now, there is no dreaming of happily-ever-after. I know they don't exist—
No matter how much a long-haired, sexy biker named Ford tries to make me believe in them.
This book is written in tandem with M. Merin's book Redemption. While each book can be read as a complete standalone, her story with Vector and Sloane takes place during the same timeline and scenes.

What I loved: I liked how great Ford(H) was with Grace’s(h) son. I also liked how strong of a character Grace was. After everything she went through, she didn’t let that tear her down. Loved how her ex got dealt with ;)
What I didn’t like: Andrew rubbed me the wrong way in this book. The way he just ghosted her in the past was rude and he needed to apologize a lot better than what he did. I’m glad Ford told him didn’t want his help.
***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: Abuse, kidnapping. In the past, h is married to a bad guy that is part of a mafia. She finally leaves him when he beats her so badly that she thought she would die. At the time she was pregnant. With the help of a detective, she gets a divorce and moves away with her son. In the present, the H is the president of his MC. He meets the h at the diner she works at and knows that she is the one. He wears her down and H gets to meet the h’s son. Things go crazy and the poor h gets kidnapped and beat up badly by her ex. H gets help and gets her. He takes care of the bad guys and they get their HEA.
Final thoughts: I’m glad we got to see Ford gets his HEA. Can’t wait to read Gabby’s book!!!

Uh
Ok I'm not sure what or how to give this book a review. The storyline is pretty straight forward. Abused woman gets out & swears off men, but then one comes along that just falls with one look. Realizes he has his work got cut out for him, but he's more than up for the challenge. You know they'll end up together. My problem, she keeps saying she's cursed & he deserves better All. The. Time! One problem at a time. Cursed? Really?! She's only been with 2 guys. I would have expected more if she was going to believe that! Spilling coffee twice doesn't make you a klutz. Next, he deserves better? He found out her background & still pursued her. He found out most of the details so I'm pretty sure he knows what he's getting into. Finally, she's all ready to leave him but then within a day, she's in love?! When did we turn on this road? It's honestly ridiculous & not worth it. I'm not sure what everyone else read, but clearly we had 2 different stories. There's small typos, but when you can't even catch that you misspelled a character's name or get the right name on the POV, yea, no thank you. If you can look over all back & forth & up & down with a side of corny, go nuts. As for me, this is definitely not a 4.5 rating book. Clearly, I won't continue. On to the next!

Fire - Book 1 - Demon Chasers MC - By Jordan Marie
A note from the author, this is a duet style book that was part of a multi author collaboration. This story is about Grace and finding her second chance at love. The first man she gave her heart to, Vector finds his happily ever after in the book Redemption by M Merin.
After fleeing her abusive marriage Grace has sworn off all men determined to never let one close again. The only man important to her is her beautiful son Asher. Happily ever afters are lies she no longer believes in them. However Ford The President of the Demon Chasers MC is determined to prove her wrong and show her that they are meant to be together, that they are each other's happily ever after.
We have met Ford before in The Savage Brothers second generation series. I am thrilled he is now having his story told.
Carter Ford wasn't looking for love but one look at Grace at the diner she worked at and he was smitten. Grace Sutton however is skittish, he can tell she has put walls up to protect herself but Ford is determined to remove them brick by brick. He sees a strength in Grace, a fire burning brighter than even she realises. He wants to help her feel safe again, to forget her ex Vector, and her ex abusive husband Benny to know that Ford sees her and loves what he sees both inside and out. However when Grace is taken Ford will reign down the fires of hell itself to get her back and is willing to deal with the devil himself to make that a reality. OMG what can I say, firstly I am so glad Ford is having his story told and he is everything I hoped he would be and so much more. The caring and tenderness that Ford showed Grace, the depth of emotion between them was so beautiful to read. I also adored the relationship between Ford and five year old Asher who is just the cutest little heart melter. It was such a well written story overall, packed with emotion, humour, action, tenderness and passion. It had everything I expect from the amazing Jordan Marie and yet again she has delivered another outstanding tale. I am delighted this is the first of a new series and we will get to see more members of this club in future. I loved seeing Grunt, T, Lyla and of course King again. This story ticked every box for me and even though I hadn't read the first story of this duet it was explained enough that I could become lost in this beautifully written story and have a sense as to what had happened previously. Hoops and Daisy as a future next generation tease was delicious and of course a future tease about King and Gabby which I am here for! Diesel, Nicole and Dragon got a mention I love that past characters are still in the present stories. Jordan really creates an immersive world with characters that we know and love and still want to see them and their lives currently, she really does have a gift for that. I thoroughly loved this story and I am already desperately awaiting the next one as you will he too once you have finished! Happy Reading.

In this first book in the Demon Chasers MC series, we get to know Ford on a more intimate level and I have to admit that I really, really like him. He’s a fantastic character who is super protective of those around him, absolutely fabulous with children, and amazingly honest with and about himself. Grace is the other main character and oh boy, has she had it tough. The fact that she is still standing is beyond incredible, but in reality, her trauma has toughened her to the point where she simply wants to provide for herself and her son while spending any free time with him.
One of the best parts of this story is the familial closeness, biological or not, and the unwavering concern for each other the characters express. Asher, Grace’s young son, is in many wonderful scenes with Ford—wonderful because of the beautiful manner in which Ford treats Asher and how it is reciprocated by Asher too.
I love the crossover between clubs and find the get-togethers between the members feels like attending their social events with them. 😆 The camaraderie and support of the MC brothers is extremely strong even though the Demon Chasers MC isn’t a large club, it’s their brothers from other clubs that show loyalty and friendship as well. Squirrely, one of the Demon Chasers, provides some light entertainment with his shenanigans.
In this story, some things are set up for future books and another series. Talk about exciting, I know King’s story will be out soon and that’s the second generation for the Devil’s Blaze MC… woohoo 🙌 In the meantime, I recommend you read this story and enjoy all the entertainment it offers.

Decent Read but not great. Lots of typos and sentences that looked to be changed but not exactly right. Almost like a computer wrote the book and not a person.
Grace & Ford
Very slow on the steam side of things. Grace was very very resistant to any type of relationship with Ford and since she had such a huge amount of shit in her past from men who could blame her. Ford sees her and it's instalove. He's willing to do whatever it takes to make her his and keep her safe. To make her laugh and be happy. Which is super sweet.
The run in with her old boyfriend who started her spiral into relationship hell is interesting and should have been soken about more but Grace is very tight-lipped on everything. Her Grandmother really had her believing she was a curse.
Things escalate and of course instead of keeping her safe, she's mistaken for her old boyfriends lover by a rival MC, then she's kidnapped by her husbands men and husband (whose supposed to be in jail and she wasn't notified he'd gotten out by her good friend the cop?? This was never addressed at all.)
Anyway of course, Ford and his crew have to ride to the rescue and he essentially tortures the ex-husband to death because of all he'd put Grace through. There is no steamy hot scenes until the VERY end of the book. It was okay but not great. First book in this series, and not really interested in reading more.

💜🌼FIRE is Pure Jordan Marie💜🌼
I've read and loved everything Jordan Marie has written...and I especially love her MCs...but this chick has written a lotta good books...and I've never understood how she comes up with one good book after another...FIRE is her latest...and it's one of her best...but I may or may not say that after every book...💜🌼
I love the love story of Ford and Grace ...Ford is a little older than Grace, but ain't no grass growing under his feet...When that dude decides he wants something...he goes after it...he plays by his own rules...and he doesn't take no for an answer...a No is just a Maybe to this alpha... and Grace and Asher being his family is a done deal in his head..💜🌼
Grace is a single mother who has had a hard life...she's a chick with... what I call...a bad picker..She can't pick a man for crap...so, she's been beat up..both literally and figuratively...and traumatized by her previous relationships...and she doesn't even wanna give Ford a chance...Last thing she thinks she needs is another man... But Ford thinks she does...and he'll do anything ...to change her mind.. 🌼
It's another good book by Jordan Marie...and I recommend it...All of her MC's are interconnected..and I recommend them all...💜🌼

The story opens with a heavy backstory for Grace, who endures unimaginable abuse at the hands of her husband. Determined to protect her unborn child, she finds the strength to escape. Years later, now a single mom working at a diner in North Carolina, Grace meets Ford—the president of the Demon Chasers motorcycle club from Virginia. He walks in with members of his club, and from the moment he sees her, he’s drawn to her.
Despite feeling an instant connection, Grace keeps her distance. Her past trauma and commitment to her five-year-old son leave little room for romance. Ford is persistent, proving again and again that he wants to be part of both of their lives.
While I felt the relationship progressed a bit too quickly and the age gap didn’t sit quite right with me, I really appreciated Ford’s fierce protectiveness over Grace and her son. I also loved the cameo appearances from characters in Jordan’s other MC books—they’re all interconnected, yet each story stands on its own.
Though there were a few grammatical hiccups in the book, it didn’t really take away from the story. Grace and Ford’s journey to happiness was full of ups and downs, but I enjoyed how deeply the story emphasized the importance of family and healing.

Fire is a Demon Chaser novel by Jordan Maire, it follows the club Prez – Ford and how he turns his back on his bachelor ways very quickly for the right woman. Grace has not had an easy life, she is very standoffish, especially with men and who could blame her. Her only weakness is her 5 year old son and she intends to keep it that way. Unfortunately for Grace, she has never come up against a force like Ford. As much as she is stubborn he is just as bad and is going to show her why he is his clubs president, and just because he has never fallen before doesn’t mean he won’t give everything he ha to prove he is the man for her.
This is a fast paced little story and it is packed full of drama and angst. High hopes for these two. The chemistry was instant but Ford shows how even though he may be a bachelor he can also be patient. Loved seeing Ford get a great ending – have liked him ever since her tried to get Thomas for knocking up his daughter. Provides great banter with Dragon is an amazing dad to Lyla so it was nice that he found someone.

My poor heart! Jordan has stolen it again with this amazing book! This first book in a new series is absolutely incredible! I already knew Ford but I feel like we really learned more about him personally in this and boy when he wants something he goes all out to get it! Grace is one amazing and strong lady! I loved getting to know her and watching her come out of her shell! The best things this lady went through broke my heart. These two were amazing together! I just loved how Ford was with Grace’s son Asher! That just totally warmed my heart! Everyone treated Grace and Asher like family and it was the sweetest thing to see! I was captivated by this story from beginning to end and hated to see it end! I was filled with joy at the end! A wonderful story that I very highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

Fire is the first book in the Demon Chasers MC series and it was another addictive thrilling read that left me desperate for more.
Im always excited whenever I pick up a book from JM, they just make me happy.
Whatever the genre she always delivers. Drama, danger, intrigue, twists, turns, spice and humour, her stories have it all.
I've wanted more from Ford and with this book he proved exactly why he intrigued me so much previously. The man is FIRE! He's an ultimate Alpha male, lethal, dangerous and cunning.
Ford is a protector to those in need, he turns on his charismatic charm to help Grace a timid waitress.
I absolutely loved how sweet and caring Ford was towards Grace as he stepped up to claim her.
Loved them together and enjoyed their story.
I'm super excited for the next book ❤️

Grace has had a rough life, her first real love joined the service and left. When he got severely injured he ghosted everyone. Feeling rejected she ended up with a crazy man in the mob. He beat and humiliated her.
Years later she meets a,sexy biker who makes her feel things she long forgot. She needs to worry about her son.
Ford takes one look at Grace and knows she is it for him. He has some serious work to do to make her realize be truly loves her and her son.

This is a well written story which has found family, friendships, emotions, action, suspense intrigue, loyalty, trauma, camaraderie, shenanigans, humor, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, healing, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, light-hearted, and heartwarming addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This was such a sweet romance with all the heart racing excitement I know JM brings to her stories. Grace has had a hard, hard life. Treated like garbage by her grandmother, ghosted by her boyfriend, she ends up married to a horrible man that preyed on her. Once she escaped, she builds a new life in another state. Now the only man in her life is her little boy. When she meets Ford, everything changes. This was a slow burn in terms of the relationship because Ford goes at her speed. He loves her son from the moment they meet and Asher feels the same about him. Their story gave me some serious warm fuzzies, especially since Grace's life had been so rough. Now she is completely happy and loved beyond measure. What a glorious read, I couldn't put it down!

I loved that Ford finally got his story. Ford is older and the president of the Demon Chasers MC. He’s never been in love but this kinda hits him hard. Grace has a rough background and doesn’t trust easily and she also has her little boy to protect. I love how Ford just barrels in and doesn’t take no for an answer. He was just what her and her little boy needed and they were just what he’s been waiting for, but didn’t even know it. Great read. I’m really looking forward to the next one. I can’t wait for King and Gabby’s story. Although I don’t know if I’ve truly forgiven her yet. Let’s see if she can fully redeem herself and if Skull can get his head out of his butt. I received an advanced to readers copy, and I’m leaving a voluntary review.

This was so good. I've been waiting for Ford's story for a while now, and it was so much better than I was expecting. Ford meets Grace at the diner where she works. One look was all it took for him. Grace, on the other hand, wants nothing to do with Ford, and I can't blame her. But not because of him. He has to be one in a million for the way he treats Grace. Then there's Asher. Oh my gosh, he's too much cuteness. Ford falls for Asher, too. The hell that Grace went/goes through is just, damn I don't think I can say anything without giving anything away. I hope there are going to be more books in the Demon Chasers series. I can't wait for King's story. I'm even rooting for Gabby. Never thought that would happen.

I absolutely love this couple and their story. Jordan Marie gave us her all!
Grace finds herself the object of affection with Ford. She doesn’t want to, but her body seems to be in control. Her past, her pain and demons are colliding with her present. She must protect her son. She must find a way to keep on her path. But the sexy and charismatic biker isn’t making it easy. He’s making her heart beat again. He’s making her son happy. He’s slowly chipping away at her walls. That can’t happen.
These two certainly had a journey that was full of ups and downs. But Ford wasn’t about to give up. Jordan Marie always gives us a protective hero that makes us fall hard.

Jordan Marie did a wonderful job on this story, I couldn't put it down, the plot was strong, it's packed with so many emotions, Jordan Marie has a way of sucking you into a story, the story is well written, the characters are strong. Grace is a fighter, she went through so much, Ford too, he's fierce, he'd do anything for the ones he loved, especially Grace and Asher. Ford and Grace were perfect together, they were good for one another, strong connection, steamy chemistry, they're meant to be.
Life's hard and their path wasn't easy.
This is a great story, I'd recommend reading it, it's 5 Stars!

Fire is book 1 in the Demon Chasers MC written by the talented and amazing author Jordan Marie. This is Ford and Grace second chance biker romance story. We already knew Ford from Thomas and Layla's books in the Savage Brothers Second Generation series, he's Layla father and the president of the DCMC. Grace is a single mom to little Asher, a waitress at the dinner and a survivor from her past.
The plot is full of drama, mystery, secrets, suspense, danger, great characters, brotherhood banter,
second chances, lots of emotions and a beautiful mature romance. No spoilers but I should tell you this is a must read for any fan of Jordan Marie stories. Can't wait for more!!!

Grace is a single mother whose life has been nothing but pain and disappointment until she had her son. She had totally given up on men after her divorce and initially she pretty much ignores Ford. But he isn't one to give up and he goes after her with a vengeance.

This is the first book by Jordan Marie that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters are very likeable and well fleshed out. This is the story of Ford and Grace as they travel a path toward love. For Ford it was a case of insta-love but due to her fears and her past Grace fights what she feels for him. She is sure he can't be as good as he appears to be. But through his actions he proves himself to her. When a threat from her past endangers her the club works to rescue her and put the past to rest.
I highly recommend this book to you. It is a page turner that I could not put down. There is a satisfying happily ever after.

I loved Ford and Grace! Grace has been through so much and all she wants is to be able to raise her son without having to look over her shoulder for the threats that are surely coming for her. Ford has pretty much given up on finding love. He’s happy with being the Pres and seeing his daughter happy with her man and new baby. But from the second Ford walks into the diner and Grace waits on him, he’s done for. And he’s a man with the resources to end the deadly threat against his woman. He just needs Grace to lower those walls she’s built up.

I can never read a Jordan Marie book and say that my brain is not still racing and embracing what I just read. She has the ability to make you have the biggest book hangovers and this book is no different. Grace a quiet and traumatized woman escaping an abusive relationship is wary of Ford. But Ford is not wary of her, no he knows what he wants and will do anything to get it. I cannot what until the next installment of this series. Let’s see how Jordan tears my heart out and puts it back together.

The story features Ford and Grace. Grace is a single mom, doing her best to take care of her five year old son, while also running from the life she lived with her abusive ex and his mafia world. The story was a good one, and I would definitely recommend it!
