Babyyyy! Valicity and her sister A. Bean has not disappointed one time!! They are so versatile in their writing.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Eternus was the perfect ending to a phenomenal series that I didn’t want to end. From start to finish, this series captivated me with its heartfelt characters, spiritual depth, and real-life struggles wrapped in a compelling storyline. It wasn’t just a story—it was an experience.
Adrian easily stole my heart throughout the series. His battle with surrendering to God was raw, honest, and so relatable. Watching him wrestle with his faith, while God never let up on him, brought tears to my eyes more than once. The way God pursued Adrian reminded me of His relentless love for all of us. And when Julius showed up for Adrian in those crucial moments? Absolutely beautiful. That brotherhood, that support—it moved me deeply.
Maya’s journey was a rollercoaster. I have to admit, there were moments when I was completely fed up with her—especially with the love triangle drama—but in the end, she chose rightly. Her decision reflected such a powerful truth: we can’t force what God hasn’t ordained. That lesson alone spoke volumes.
Julius? I didn’t expect to care for him as much as I ended up doing. At times, I felt like his character was over-sexualized, but the truth is, that struggle is real for many, especially in today’s world. Valicity handled that tension with grace and truth. Julius’s transformation, and how God used his gift as a runner to glorify His name, was inspiring. It reminded me that no matter our past or struggles, God can and will use us if we surrender.
One thing I wish had been explored more was the college situation—what happened with the students? Were they ever discovered? That part left me wondering, and I craved just a little more closure there.
Still, this series was everything I didn’t know I needed. If I could pick one series to be made into a movie, this would be it. The depth, the emotion, the spiritual journey—it’s cinematic on its own. I’m sad to see it end because I feel like it had so much more potential to continue, but I’m also satisfied. Valicity gave us a conclusion that felt true, redemptive, and full of hope.
