Tony and Jimmy have been friends for a long time. But how good of a friend do you have to be to step up and become what he needs? The friends have a strange encounter with an ancient totem that Tony was cataloging for his job at a museum. Jimmy makes an offhand remark while they were both holding the totem and suddenly Jimmy has the power to summon what he needs. Unfortunately for Tony, he's the one that is going to fulfill the need. Will their friendship survive the stresses put on Tony?

Short Read that I wish could be longer
I actually loved this story so much. I have to admit that I’m kind of a book snob. I read a lot of transgender fiction, but I absolutely hate what I call transgender fetish stories. Stories that don’t have much character development, and are mostly just opportunities to show transgender individuals in sexual situations.
Honestly, I started reading this book thinking it was one of those kind of stories. I found that this was a delightful story with a lot of character development and just a little bit of spiciness. There were a few grammatical and character errors, but nothing I couldn’t overlook or figure out. In the end, I learned some lessons. One, I can’t read a book by its cover, and two, I really like Katie Van’s stories.

Needed in ways
This is the story of two close friends who find a totem that takes the wishes and turns the other into a woman. As soon as Tony was turned into Jimmy's girlfriend, he felt that he/she enjoyed being Jimmy's girlfriend more than anything in life since they already know so much about each other in so many ways from being friends for so long. Even though this story is fictional, you never know what could happen someplace in the world of the way things work that could change someone into a woman or whatever they want to be and be made into that person permanently just by finding the right person to be with for whatever reason their is in the future of life.
