Magnusson had expected to go to war - though not in a windjammer and not as a spy. But it is 1939 and the Navy desperately needs information about German raiders and blockade runners operating in northern waters. One of the places to get that information is the port of Narvik - and the man to do it is Magnusson.
Soon Magnusson and the rest of the ship's crew find themselves playing a key role in the rescue of British prisoners from the Altmark, and then lunged into the very heart of the German invasion of Norway.
Set against the majestic background of the Norwegian fjords, NORTH STRIKE is a powerful story from one of war fiction's greatest story-tellers.
