This tale has two ladies, Mariah & her cousin, Edwina, attempting to exact revenge against a true scoundrel & they use hilarious ideas, kooky disguises, a flash of enticing female flesh & a few other amateur spy moves. Julian Kingsley is a burned out spy for the war office & just wants to work his last case & retired. When Julian's & Mariah's worlds collide, he is mesmerized by her beauty, her dazzling red dress & she is nervous, excited & feeling drunken butterflies in her stomach. Their passions ignite this novella into a juicy & down right provocative espionage tale. Between the sheets, his spy network, a nutty cousin & plot of treachery, can they solve the mysterious questions, so they can be they can be together? This is my first Layna Pimentel creation I have read, and it may have been only 74 pages, but she didn't waste a letter, word or space. She threw Mariah & Julian into a web of SENSATIONAL & LASCIVIOUS INTRIGUE that made my Kindle slightly crispy! I give this short but sexy and hilarious romance a score of 4 fingers up & 9 toes, plus I can't wait to read more of Ms. Pimentel works!
