Essays on Lennox Lewis, Damon Runyon, the 1982 World Cup and the early days of The Comic Strip delight in this piquant, surly collection. True, the pieces have dated, but so does everything and, here, that’s half the excitement - there’s this feller named Martin Amis, and his new novel is called Money...
