He builds her desk. She rebuilds his life...

Logan

Look, I'm not your typical Prince Charming. I'm just a guy running a bar in a small town, trying to keep my own demons at bay. Then Ava walks in, all sunshine and second chances, looking for someone to build her damn desk. I should've kept my mouth shut, but something made me offer to help. I don't do complications, and she's got 'complicated' written all over her. But there's something about her that pulls me in, makes me want to be the guy who helps her heal. When her past comes knocking, I realize I'm in deeper than I ever planned. Now I've gotta do I push her away to protect myself, or do I fight for the one good thing that's walked into my life in years?

Ava
All I wanted was a fresh start in a quiet town where nobody knew my name or my history. Millford seemed perfect, and finding someone to help with my desk was just a bonus. I never expected that someone to be Logan - brooding, handsome, and surprisingly kind. As we grow closer, he challenges me to open up in ways I never thought I could. I start to believe that maybe, just maybe, I can trust again. But when my ex tracks me down, threatening to shatter the peace I've found, I'm faced with a choice. Do I run again, or do I stand my ground and fight for the life - and the man - I never knew I wanted?

TRUST is a sweet and spicy short story set in small-town America, where a guarded bartender and a newcomer seeking a fresh start find an unexpected connection. This emotional, character-driven tale blends romance with a touch of suspense and explores how two wounded souls navigate trust issues and heal from past traumas, discovering strength in each other along the way. I write the kind of romance novels that blend sweet and spicy into something deliciously real - stories that'll warm your heart one minute and make you reach for a fan the next. My characters are flawed souls who stumble their way to love with enough emotional baggage to fill a cargo plane, but they're worth every messy moment.
Life handed me my own romance novel when I fell for an American military man while living in Germany. Now I'm living my happily-ever-after in a cozy Kentucky town, where my European roots tangle perfectly with Southern charm. You'll find me powered by excessive amounts of coffee, testing ice cream flavors (strictly for research purposes), and soaking up cuddles from my golden retrievers, Dakota and Tucker.

This had more heart than I expected! And it was short and sweet, so I read it really fast. A bit spicier than I expected, but it was a good short story!
