Okay, Book 3 just became my new fave from the series! Jane’s trying to rebuild her life, Mac’s the hot biker/landlord next door, and suddenly I’m way more invested in their neighbourly tension than in my actual responsibilities. The kids are sweet, the danger keeps things interesting, and Mac’s “touch them and you d!e” energy is honestly the highlight. When Jane’s past shows up, Mac basically steps forward like, “Yeah, no, not happening,” and I melted a little.

Mac is not the only one obsessed this series is amazing and just keeps getting better and better.

Jane is on the run from an abusive husband who has much more power than she does. She is more than prepared to do whatever it takes to keep her kids safe.

When Mac's sister Bertha calls him asking if he would be willing to give Jane a safe place to land he agree's and so starts his obsession. He immediately feels the need to keep them all safe.

Cala does an amazing Job with Jane and the kids characters and the impacsts that DV has on a person. You are going to fall in love with Tanner and want to give him a big old hug.

This is a slow burn as both Mac and Jane need to come to turns with what they feel and heal from past wounds. Mac's handling of Jane and her kids is swoon worthy you are going to fall in love with all of then.

This is one of my favorite reads ever

Happy Pub Day to Mac’s Obsession by Cala Riley!☘️

Thank you for this ARC 🫶🏼

I finished this in one day! I was hooked from the first few pages!!
Jane is a single mom with 2 kids who is on the run trying to hide from her abusive husband. Thank the angels, she meets Bertha a trucker who helps her by setting her up in a home that is owned by her brother, Mac. He’s hesitant, but as soon as he sees the fragile family, his manly instincts kick in and will do anything to protect them!

This biker romance was emotional, but healing my soul at the same time. Jane’s character development throughout the whole book had me in happy tears. From her not having a voice, love, being degraded to slowly breaking out of her shell to find who she really is and what she wants was amazing. And Mac not only being a hot biker, but one who was so in tune with his feelings and not afraid to be vulnerable with not just Jane, but her kids!! He took them under his wing like they were his very own and I thought that was truly admirable 🥹

Side characters, you’ll love them all! It’s like one big happy biker family! And the banter from them all had me LOL.

This story reminded me that you can walk away and find yourself again. You can be loved and are deserving of it❤️

There is something about her and those kids that make me want to take them in and never let them go

Mac’s obsession was an amazing single parent romance, with Jane on the run with her kids from her abusive partner.

I absolutely adored Mac. He was protective but also not too protective. He didn’t overshadow Jane’s character growth and I loved that. I also loved how Mac had his bonding moments with both kids but I also loved his special relationship with Tanner. He was undoing everything he’d learned from his dad and was teaching him to be a man and how to treat women properly.

The obsession is me; I cannot get enough of this series. The first books in the Saints Outlaws MC: Pensacola Chapter are still with me, and this book is better! Jane is a strong character, an amazing mom, we see her grow and find her true strength. She is determined to keep her kids safe.

As Jane and the kids are escaping from the ex, she meets Bertha, a trucker who helps them to safety, but is also a sister to Mac. She sets Jane and the kids up in his rental.

I love how Mac immediately springs into protector mode. Mac is patient with the kids, and the relationship grows to him treating them like his own. Jane is guarding her heart; Mac is patient and waits for her. As time moves on these two opposites have a spark, and when it ignites, Wow!
I am excited to see what comes next.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Omg this book was idk it’s my favorite. I think I say that with all Cala Riley books. Idk this storyline line holds a special place in my heart and tugged at all the strings. Jane is such an amazingly strong character and FMC and a great mom. Watching her grow in self confidence and fake it until she made it was crazy. Then watching her find her strength was awesome. Mac oh Mac where to start?! The instant hero move and he just did what he needed to do yet was so understanding and gentle. SWOON!!!! I love the interconnecting of all the clubs. I never have to go long without my favorite characters. There’s not enough good things to say about this book. It made me laugh, gasp, cry and swoon, the spice was spicy and yet so intimate. A million stars !!!!

Mac’s Obsession by Cala Riley book three in Saint’s Outlaws MC : Pensacola Chapter. This time we have the swoon-worthy biker Mac and his slow burn romance with Jane, a broken single mum struggling to survive. An emotional read as Jane is determined to keep her kids safe and Mac does all he can to show her what a good man looks like.

Jane is married to Evan but he is a narcissistic monster who has physically and mentally abused her over the years. She tries to protect her children and Tanner looks after his sister Emily when their dad is angry but they have both experienced something traumatic. After one particularly violent evening, they go on the run. Two months later they are still on the move with the help from truckers. They are scared Evan will find them but luckily they meet Bertha, who suggests they move into her brother’s rental house.

Mac followed Smoke from Boston to Pensacola to help start the new chapter and now the brothers are his family. He owns the house next to his and is surprised when his sister calls asking him to help and give Jane a safe place to stay. Mac knows it could be asking for trouble and he might have to involve the MC but gives in. This good deed quickly becomes an obsession because the moment they arrive, he just knows he is meant to keep them safe.

Jane is worried they will never be safe and Evan will eventually find them. She feels guilty as Tanner is still scared and struggling to trust anyone. She’s anxious over depending on Mac too much but finds herself falling for him. He is such a good man and can’t believe how good he is with the kids. It is wonderful how much effort Mac puts in to get to know Jane and all he does to help her. He’s cross at what they have been through and wants to give them the life they all deserve. He needs her to trust him so he can find out who she is and who they need to look out for. Mac hopes she wants him as much as he wants her but can’t push her as she needs to heal and adjust to life with him and the MC.

Jane grows in confidence and makes friends with everyone at the MC. Emily was so sweet and adorable. Tanner was the best big brother and Mac was so caring towards him. I loved how Bertha keeps in touch and they build up a great friendship. It was great catching up with all the Outlaws and their partners. The brothers banter was fun and we got some good teasers for the next book. Sloane was hilarious again and with Kelly they both really supported Jane.

Jane now has a safe home, happy children and a fantastic relationship but is concerned her past will rear its ugly head again. Mac worries that if Evan is still around he knows Jane will run again and he doesn’t want to lose his new family. Will the MC be able to protect them if the worse happens. Can Jane finally live the life she has always dreamt about. I was very impressed how the authors addressed domestic violence and the affect it has on everyone involved. I really enjoyed this story and Mac and Jane are now my favourite couple in this series.

(I received an ARC for this book)

trigger warnings will be at the bottom of this review, to avoid spoilers
spousal abuse, child abuse, violence/threats involving guns, violent torture on page, mutalation, home invasion, attempted robbery, narcissistic behavior, PTSD

Before we get into the meat of this review, I want to highlight the Pub Sub mention. Because as a Floridian, that’s important to note! Jane and her sweet babies find safety and solace with Mac. And his found family becomes theirs. And because I am already attached to said found family, I swooned HARD every time a member loved Jane and her kids. Reading a MC romance means rough and tough guys. So when I come across one with soft spots?! My heart ends up in a tizzy! Boy did Mac turn soft. Especially for Jane’s kids. His gentleness, patience, grace, his supportive open arms. I loved that while it felt like an instalove, it was a slow burn because these circumstances absolutely called for time and space! The respect that poured off the page was like a warm hug, a hug that was NEEDED! I lose it during “my wife” moments, it’s why any form of convenient/forced marriages are some of my favorite reads. But a “my kids” moment!?!? I was a goner. There were plenty of familiar faces (whether on page or mentioned) but also some newbies I can’t wait to spend more time with!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “I’ve got you.”
• “I want to be the man you deserve. If only you would let me.”
• “I will protect you even until my dying breath.”
• “I know you are still growing, but I want to grow together.”
• “You can’t leave me. I need you too much.”
• “Cuddles?” “They’re the best medicine.”
• “I feel free with you.”
• “My old lady is taking my c!ck like a good girl.”

6/10 Dirty Birdy
2/10 Forced Proximity
10/10 Single Parent
7/10 Slow Burn
7/10 Series

This is my review for Smoke’s Rise
This is my review for Gunner’s Mercy

Trigger Warnings include:
The spousal abuse occurs on page as well as past occurrences described. It includes rape. The child abuse is on page (just once). The FMC goes on the run with her children to protect them. Their fear and PTSD is constant throughout.

Tropes- Single Mom, FMC on the run, MC romance, Neighbors to Lovers, Found family

Cala and Riley never miss especially with their MC romances I always love them because it’s always so emotional, raw and beautiful written but also funny especially when club is together this story was definitely on the emotional side especially the very first chapter so please CHECK TW

Jane was such an amazing fmc she’s just so sweet and kind who has been through so much and her kids also, my heart goes out to Tanner her son he’s so protective of his mom and sister even only at 8 years old. Jane has been on the run with her kids moving from truck to truck so her husband can’t find her. When she meets Mac’s sister who she asks if he can help them

This book was so amazing I couldn’t get enough. Their relationship was just everything and I loved watching everything play out and them getting to know each other and all four of them having so much family time together was just chef kiss. I also loved seeing Tanner and Jane get comfortable around Mac, Emily was just so adorable and trusting

Mac is such a green flag omg he has to be my favorite mmc of Cala and Riley. He’s so trusting and patient and was definitely locked in from day one it was like something just clicked for him when his sister dropped them off to stay next door in one of his properties. I loved everything about him he does not play when it comes to them and I’m glad they finally got someone who cares about them

The chemistry with Mac and Jane is incredible. Their story is just so raw and emotional they deserve each other so much, oh how my heart just was beating every time they just got near each other

I can have like 15 more books on them and their family! And I can’t wait for more of this series

Thank You Cala & Riley For giving me this arc it was everything!

MAC’S OBSESSION is this third instalment in Cala Riley’s contemporary, adult SAINTS OUTLAWS MC : PENSACOLA dark, MC romance series. This is Colin ‘ Mac’ Sheridan, and single mother Jane Anderson’s story line. MAC’S OBSESSION can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Jane and Mac) MAC’S OBSESSION focuses on the protection of Jane Anderson, and her two children. Having escaped an abusive relationship, Jane and her children find themselves under the protection of the Saints Outlaws MC in Pensacola Florida but Jane continues to struggle with issues of trust knowing the man she left behind is refusing to give up.

The world building focuses on healing and protection, escaping the abuse of the past, moving forward but always leery of anyone new.

The relationship between Mac and Jane begins as a proclamation of protection. Jane and her children arrive in Pensacola, with the help of an underground trucking system, and in this, Mac discovers the woman struggling to survive is the woman that calls to his heart. There $ex scenes are limited by passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of energetic and dogged secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Saints Outlaws MC. We are introduced to Mac’s sister Bertha, and Jane’s soon to be ex Evan.

MAC’S OBSESSION is a story of power and control, abuse and vengeance, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dark, dramatic and edgy; the slow building romance is seductive; the characters are desperate and determined.

In Mac's Obsession, we meet Jane and her two small kiddos, Emily and Tanner, who go on the run from Jane's husband (kiddo's dad) after years of abuse. They wind up hitching a ride with a sweet trucker named Bertha. She hooks the fam up with a rental house owned by her brother Mac, who Bertha promises will protect + look after them.

Enter Mac. He had me absolutely SWOONING. It's not often you get that in an MC romance, but you guys, Mac is the absolute sweetest, most supportive + patient angel of a man. From the very start, he wants to do anything he can to help Jane and her two kiddos - while also recognizing that he needs to tread easily because of their traumatic history. And the way he loves Emily and Tanner as his own? Ugh, my heart.

Mac also helps Jane find a job at the MC garage he works at, where she meets some of the other brothers + their old ladies. The MC aspect of the book is honestly pretty light - it really only comes into play as a found family aspect, and then when they finally take down Jane's husband.

I just adored this book. It has so many of my favorite tropes: hurt/comfort, found family, forced proximity (next door neighbors), OTT protective MMC, FMC on the run - it's pretty low angst, no third act breakup, no OWD/OMD. Overall, just a a great read.

An emotionally devastating, soul-healing biker romance that proves Cala Riley only gets stronger with every book.

There have already been three powerful stories in the Saint’s Outlaws MC: Pensacola Chapter series, but Book 4, Mac’s Obsession, takes everything to another level. For me, this is hands down one of—if not the—most emotional stories this writing duo has delivered.

From the prologue and that very first page, you know your heart is going to shatter before it’s ever pieced back together again.

Jane is a mother of two—five-year-old Emily and eight-year-old Tanner—doing the bravest thing imaginable: running from an abusive marriage and trying to rebuild a life for herself and her children. It’s raw, it’s painful, and it’s heartbreakingly real. Escaping is never easy, but fate intervenes in the form of a woman trucker whose brother just happens to be Mac—a member of the MC and a man who will soon become so much more than a protector.

This is a beautifully paced slow-burn romance, one that focuses not just on the growing attraction between Jane and Mac, but on trust, healing, and safety. Watching Mac take Emily and Tanner under his wing absolutely wrecked me—in the best possible way. He’s the epitome of the big, bad biker who, once he falls, loves fiercely and without limits.

Seeing Jane slowly come out of her shell, regain her strength, and truly flourish is incredibly powerful. And Mac with the kids? Tears. Actual tears. Their bond is pure perfection and adds so much emotional depth to the story.

Mac’s Obsession is tender, heartbreaking, protective, and deeply emotional—a reminder that love can be both a refuge and a second chance. Cala Riley has delivered something truly special here, and this book will stay with me for a long time. 💔❤️

I'm giving this four stars despite my full thoughts on this because frankly, I'm completely sure that any issue I had was a personal one. This book is a whisper over 300 pages but for whatever reason, it felt so much longer. I have nothing to point out about it that slowed it down, so I'm convinced that I'm the problem. It's definitely a slow burn but I appreciated that aspect of the romance. The FMC, Jane had gone through almost a decade of abuse from her husband, the fact that we didn't immediately jump into a romance with Mac was highly appreciated. It made the relationship feel real.

I liked the characters. They were all really well written and well done. I liked that the kids acted like their ages (Tanner obviously acted a bit older due to his trauma, but it wasn't like the author wrote a miniature adult.) The side characters were nicely incorporated without feeling like they stole the show. It was just all well done.

I liked the plot line of worrying about the husband. There was certainly tension going on that steadily ramped up. I liked that everything had to be questioned when Jane interacted outside of the club. The pacing for it was really good. It's a good read and I'm definitely going to have to check out the rest of the author's work when the mood swings back this way.

This is a beautiful and emotional MC romance that completely melted my heart. Jane is an incredibly brave heroine who runs from an abusive husband when his violence reaches her son, believing she will spend the rest of her life in fear, until Mac comes into her life. The story kept me on my toes, constantly worried for her, and her children's safety and what might happen if her husband found her. Mac was almost too good to be true: protective, patient, kind, and absolutely amazing with Jane’s children, Emily and Tanner, whom I completely adored. The way he took them under his wing, loved them, and showed them what a real father, and "man", should be was deeply touching. I loved how the MC became a true family for Jane and her kids, surrounding them with care, loyalty, and protection. Watching Jane slowly heal, learn to trust again, and build a new life was powerful and emotional, and seeing her love with Mac grow slowly through trust and tension was incredibly rewarding. This story handles the topic of domestic abuse with sensitivity and strength, and it is easily one of my favorite books by Cala Riley.

Mac is not the only one who has an obsession. Mac is easily a man that any woman would obsess over. Cala Riley tells a story of a woman on the run with her two children and a man, to whom the quote "you can't judge a book by its cover, pertains. Your emotions will be all over the place, from anger and heartbreak to happiness and hopefulness. These two authors seamlessly deliver a story of Mac and Jane, two people who are opposites but connect and have a spark.
Jane and her two children are on the run from her abusive husband and they end up renting a place owned by Mac. He has this need to protect Jane and her children because he feels there is something she is hiding. He becomes obsessed with Jane, but being the gentleman he is, he waits for Jane to feel the same way he does. While he waits, Mac makes a connection with Emily, Jane's daughter, easily; however, connecting with her son, Tanner, is not so easy.
I love how Mac embraces Emily and Tanner and treats them like they are his own. Looking for a man to swoon over, Mac is your man. When Jane finally gives in to her feelings and opens her heart to happiness, Mac, Jane, Tanner and Emily become the perfect family.

*I was given this book as an eArc but my review is based solely on my own thoughts and opinions*

It all seems so serious and very little romance haha. I would have hoped some lingering glances or mentions of attraction or something but nothing for like 25% in then finally she admits he’s attractive. I do like a slow burn, it wasn’t that it took so long for them to do anything, it was just nothing was mentioned of any sort of attraction until way later if that makes any sense.

I do love his immediate response to protect her and her kids, it’s very attractive lol. A lot of it is super cheesy haha but hey, I don’t mind some of it actually. It’s cute in an over the top way. It was like a dream real life mmc.

I would have liked more of a background to Mac, like how he’s so sweet but then can torture the heck out of some one. I feel like I’m missing books before this. Feels like information and events happened prior (totally found out it’s the 3rd in a series lol my bad). And what happened to Jane’s parents, where are they in all of this?

Overall, I enjoyed it. It gave me butterflies. 3.5 stars.

Mac’s Obsession ( Saint’s Outlaws MC : Pensacola Chapter !! MC , Single Mom , Found Family, Next Door Neighbors . Cala Riley is back with another home run right outta the ballpark. Mac and Jane , oh my gosh guys words cannot even describe how in love with these two I found myself. Jane oh how my heart went out to her so completely. Being a single mom myself- that fact made her so much more likable and relatable for me . And what a protective mama bear she was of her two adorable kids . She’s definitely been through the wringer , on the run from an abusive husband trying her hardest to keep it together for her kids . If anyone deserved a happy ending it was most definitely her . Mac well let me just say if so freaking in love and obsessed with this man . How protective he was of Jane and her kids from the moment they meet . What a sweetheart he was and is , the way he went above and beyond to to endure her safety. The love and the kindness and the the patience he showed her . This was such a beautiful and very emotional love story and I genuinely could not get enough of it .

I loved this entry of the Pensacola MC! Mac was a hidden sweetie and protector. He didn't speak up much in earlier books, but now we see him find what's been missing from his life.
As a favour to his sister, he takes in Jane and her two kids in his spare house, giving them a safe haven. Little does he know how much he will come to love them and care for them as his own.

Those two kids killed me. Emily with her sweet and curious nature, such cute and random thoughts that cracked me up. Tanner is such a wise soul, haunted by things he shouldn't have to be for someone his age. A fierce little protector of his mum and sister, stepping up to be the man of the house.

It takes a while for Tanner to trust anyone, especially Mac being a male. Mac is a great influence on Tanner, teaching him important life lessons about being a man, while allowing him to be a kid and ease the pressure for him.

I hope y'all are ready to swoon so hard! This book kept me smiling and kicking my feet. There are so many swoonworthy moments, cute scenes, found family, and genuine love.

Jane is a young, single mom of two running from her abusive husband. She's scared and broken, but she's willing to do anything to keep her children safe. Mac is the ultimate book boyfriend. He is fiercely protective, caring, and is everything Jane and her kids needed. He helps heal them all. He pays attention to all of them, sees what they need, and makes it happen. The way he loves those kids as if they were his own is actually the sweetest! Watching these four become a family was beautiful.

The domestic abuse and the feelings from Jane and her kids were spot on, and I give the authors kudos for getting it right. I loved the MC members and the found family they all have with each other. The ending was the best and definitely ranks high on my list of favorite book endings!

Mac Daddy is here and I am so here for it. He was a book boyfriend that I didn't know I wanted or needed.

This story just hit right for me on so many levels. We have Jane who is in an abusive relationship and on the run with her 2 kids, Tanner and Emily. The three of them have trauma they are dealing with and fear to work thru separately and together. Jane is strong than she realizes and was able to work thru her trauma and start to heal which helped her kids heal I think as well.

Mac is the golden retriever that will tear you apart if you harm those he loves! He wants to be there for Jane and her kids but also be respectful. You see this man become the man Jane and the kids need and start to let in.

It’s a beautiful story with angst, fun banter and found family. We get to see some the precious guys and gals and I am excited to see who claims the hearts of some these MC guys.

The bonus epilogue with old Tanner and Emily was fantastic!!!

I did receive an ARC for review and so blessed.

With the opening alone, this book got my full attention. Jane has a strength that brought me to my knees. What she went through and endured was so difficult to read, but it was the moment her son made a single comment that I knew this book had my whole heart. Jane is a single mom to two kids, and those kids mean everything to her. She would do anything and everything for them and she does just that. Meeting Mac was by pure chance, and it was this man that restored her faith in everything. Mac was there to help her, support her and show her, her worth. But it was also the way that he was there to help with the kids. These two found a friendship that led to so much more, but it was a slow progress. Their entire story makes you want to cheer for them as Jane deserves a man like Mac, and he deserved the beautiful family that was a part of Jane.

ARC Review for ‘Mac’s Obsession’ by Cala Riley.

What else is there to say, I thoroughly enjoy reading any book that this duo writer has!
We are in Florida with the Saints Outlaw MC, where we follow Mac and Jane.
Jane escaped with her two little kids from an abusive husband and winds up in Florida under Mac’s safety.
Their story is one of slowly building trust, faith and love.
It bloomed so nicely through the pages, really focussing on them becoming a unity, a family where the children learn to let go and trust the process.
Unlike some other books of this author duo where a subplot runs along the background, this book really focuses on them.
Their chemistry was gentle and sweet, building the tension. Their 🌶️ was dito!

Omg I loved this book so much, I couldn’t put it down. Jane and her 2 kids needed to escape the worst situation of their lives. When they use the truckers for help and constantly moving she knows he won’t be able to find them. When Jane and the kids meet Bertha, Bertha takes them under her wings and seeks out the help from her brother Mac and the Saints Outlaws. Jane is very hesitate cause she feels if she is in one place too long Evan will find her. What she doesn’t know that when she is under the Saint Outlaws protection she is protected no matter the cost. What Mac isn’t expecting is to see the amazing woman Jane is and how much her kids just really need to be kids and to not be afraid. When Jane’s past comes hunting her it’s Mac and the Saints Outlaws that come to her rescue in more ways than one.

Excellent single mom romance

I absolutely devoured this book! The tropes of this book are what caught my attention, but the story kept me hooked! We’ve got a single mom on the run with her two smaller kids. An over the top protective MMC who is also a member of an MC. And we’ve got the whole MC that welcomes Jane and her kids in with open arms. I loved that this romance wasn’t all spice. This one was very plot heavy, which we don’t always get with MC romances. Mac was an absolute dream of an MMC. He was all alpha male, but he was an absolute marshmallow for Jane and her kids. I love how protective he was over them. I also really loved Jane’s character. She was such a good mom, and desperately wanted to care for and protect her children. Their chemistry was outstanding, and I loved that nothing was rushed between them. I am really loving this series!

13 hours, that’s how long it took me to read this book. Yes I did have to pause for daily life stuff. But I seriously could not put it down. I was obsessed with Jane and Mac.

I am a sucker for a single mom romance especially when the mmc falls hard and fast for not only her but her kids and Mac falls so hard. There is not a thing him or the saints wouldn’t do for our little family.

Mac has easily moved his way to my number one MMC from Cala Riley! Like the way it all just clicked for him the moment he met Jane and the kids. Then he stopped at nothing to make them his. He was so respectful and patient to Jane as she went through such a rough time.

As always make sure you check triggers warning because there are some heavy ones in this book.

Can’t wait for more SOMC let’s see if they can top Mac Daddy!

What a wild ride! I loved it! I have read all of the other novels in this series and loved them. This novel did not disappoint. The novels just keep getting better and better. I love a good single parent novel and throw in a hot biker and you can count me in. From the first chapter this novel reached across the pages and grabbed my heart and my attention and held on tight until the very last page. I loved Jane and Mac's story. My heart hurt for what Jane and her kids had gone thru with her abusive ex husband. I loved how protective Mac was of Jane and her kids. Their chemistry was so good. I loved watching her walls and defenses come down and watch them fall in love. It was such a wild ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down. I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So so good!

This story definitely had some triggers so please be mindful of those.

Mac and Jane. These two were sooo good together. When Jane and her 2 young children need to leave their home life fast, they enlist the help of a trucker who passes them to Mac for safe keeping. He knew pretty instantly that this skittish and vulnerable family would be something more than simply a woman and children needing a safe haven for a couple days before moving on to the next town.

Mac was possessive in the best way. Always wanting and doing everything to keep them safe. Unfortunately, the past sometimes catches up with us and in Jane's case it absolutely did.

This story was packed full of pain and suffering, learning to trust again, abundant love and so many heartfelt moments. This MC knows how to take care of their own. Especially Mac!

I'm in desperate need to read the other books in this series because I'm such a sucker for a MC romance. I couldn't get enough of this book and I read it in less than 24 hours.

Jane and her kids are escaping her abusive husband when she meets Bertha, a trucker who helps them find somewhere safe to stay. Bertha sets Jane and her kids up to rent a place by Bertha's sister Mac.

This was such an enjoyable read and I really liked the way Mac treated Jane and her kids. Mac is protective but not over protective and the way he is with the kids makes my heart melt.

If you love any of the tropes down below, this is the perfect book for you. But please, do read the trigger warnings.
