An emotionally devastating, soul-healing biker romance that proves Cala Riley only gets stronger with every book.
There have already been three powerful stories in the Saint’s Outlaws MC: Pensacola Chapter series, but Book 4, Mac’s Obsession, takes everything to another level. For me, this is hands down one of—if not the—most emotional stories this writing duo has delivered.
From the prologue and that very first page, you know your heart is going to shatter before it’s ever pieced back together again.
Jane is a mother of two—five-year-old Emily and eight-year-old Tanner—doing the bravest thing imaginable: running from an abusive marriage and trying to rebuild a life for herself and her children. It’s raw, it’s painful, and it’s heartbreakingly real. Escaping is never easy, but fate intervenes in the form of a woman trucker whose brother just happens to be Mac—a member of the MC and a man who will soon become so much more than a protector.
This is a beautifully paced slow-burn romance, one that focuses not just on the growing attraction between Jane and Mac, but on trust, healing, and safety. Watching Mac take Emily and Tanner under his wing absolutely wrecked me—in the best possible way. He’s the epitome of the big, bad biker who, once he falls, loves fiercely and without limits.
Seeing Jane slowly come out of her shell, regain her strength, and truly flourish is incredibly powerful. And Mac with the kids? Tears. Actual tears. Their bond is pure perfection and adds so much emotional depth to the story.
Mac’s Obsession is tender, heartbreaking, protective, and deeply emotional—a reminder that love can be both a refuge and a second chance. Cala Riley has delivered something truly special here, and this book will stay with me for a long time. 💔❤️
