Hunted for her newfound knowledge, Lyvia is thrown into the life of a fugitive and must decide who to trust as her eyes are opened to the forgotten arts and the scrubbed history of her kingdom. Her world becomes far bigger and more dangerous as betrayal stalks her every move. The line between ally and enemy will blur as she joins forces with a rogue captain and his crew.

Lyvia must decipher her connection to a prophecy laced with mystery and magic if she is to fight against an army of undead and weed out the evil lurking within her own kingdom. When I was little, one of my dreams was to be an archeologist when I grew up. The idea of finding some lost artifacts or solving long-forgotten mysteries seemed utterly fascinating. While I didn't grow up to become an archaeologist, my love and admiration for the profession haven't diminished. This entire introduction was meant to explain why I was so drawn to A.M. Kay's Bones of the Bellators, Book 1 in her Nyxteria series.

The premise, the plot, the characters—everything was crafted masterfully, written in a way to draw you in and never let go. The story is intense from the beginning, filled with mysteries and long-lost (or forbidden?) history.

We see the world through Lyvia's, the FMC's, eyes, and we learn, discover and grow with her. I love Lyvia's character. I loved her studiousness, her drive, and her analytical mind. In a world where women are forbidden from being scholars and fighters, Lyvia will eventually become both. In a world where everything seems to be against her, she will claw her way and learn her truths. She will find love and friendship. She will feel rage, pain, and betrayal. She will experience immense regret and self-loathing, and she will try to overcome it in her own way.

In a world where war looms, dark forces never stop, and friends and foes are a breath away, Lyvia will keep going on. She isn't perfect, far from it, but that makes her real and relatable. While she may be in the centre of it all, other characters are equally important and equally well-developed. Lyvia's found family is perfectly imperfect, and each member brings something crucial to the table. Yes, Bayne has my heart, but Nerissa, Ronan, Isla, and the others are all close to my reader's heart.

Bones of the Bellators is a story you must experience, an adult dark fantasy that will "sever" your ties to the outside world while reading it. And it is an emotional rollercoaster that will live rent-free in your heart and soul long after you finish reading.

I am so happy and honored to accompany A.M. Kay on her author's road as a street team member. I know this is only the beginning, and so many things are coming in the future.
P.S. I need to find a way to properly function until the sequel is in my hands.

I was utterly obsessed with this book 😩🔥🖤 I picked up this baby on a whim and is one of the best decisions I made because it was a read that I needed in the moment and the way the author captivates you right away from the beginning!? Yes, please! I need more books like this and I look forward to reading book 2!

The plot and characters were absolutely everything as it really catches your attention from the beginning of the book. This is one of those books that you need to go in blind for the experience as it will be an emotional rollercoaster in the best way possible! 🖤✨

From the moment I opened "Bones of the Bellators," I was absolutely captivated. This adult high fantasy novel is a breathtaking tapestry of elemental magic, high stakes, and the profound connections that bind us—both in loyalty and love.

Lyvia Cantor is an exceptional protagonist and her struggle against the constraints of her society is both relatable and inspiring. The author masterfully evokes a sense of intimacy, making me feel as though I was right there alongside Lyvia – or even wishing I was her – experiencing the betrayals firsthand and sharing in the heartbreak and triumph of each discovery. The emotional weight of these moments truly immersed me in the story, making it nearly impossible to put the book down.

Beneath the surface of magic and epic battles, "Bones of the Bellators" delves into themes of identity, trust, and the struggle between duty and desire. The enchanting prose pulls you in, painting vivid landscapes and emotional moments that stay with you. The revelations Lyvia uncovers about her kingdom and herself are transformative, leaving readers fully invested and itching for more.

In short, "Bones of the Bellators" is an incredible journey filled with unforgettable characters, heart-pounding action, and an exploration of the darkest corners of the human experience. If you love high fantasy, magic, strong female protagonists, uncovering secrets and unraveling prophesies, this book is for you! I cannot recommend it enough and absolutely cannot wait to see how the relationships, powers, and politics play out over the series. Book #2 was immediately added to my TBR list!

3.5 ⭐️

I have a lot to say about this one lol. This book felt so long and like it was multiple books in one. I think there were a lot of things going on and there were quite a few time jumps, some weeks long and some months long, where we just don’t really know what happened.

With that being said there were multiple occasions during these time jumps where I wish instead we would’ve gotten some of the info rather than just “3 months went by”. I feel like her getting captured multiple times in one book as well made it feel long as she was captured by multiple different people and time was just jumping around with the FMC also traveling to multiple territories in this book too. This made the plot seem a little messy too like there were a lot of ideas and they were all crammed into one book and time jumps were used in able to fit it all in, which I think can be helpful if used the right way but it just happened too many times in this book.

This also made it difficult in the beginning as there wasn’t really any world building or explanation of the magic system and the world they were in and we just jumped right into the plot. Instead of explanations of things by the FMC periodically it definitely felt like you had to just figure some things out on your own. With there being multiple gods and elves and such, I just feel like I wouldn’t liked a better explanation in the beginning.

Now despite all of those things I do think the overall plot was very interesting and was a good idea. The dialogue was good and while I do think the FMC was a little bratty, she did have some growth throughout the book. The spicy scenes were well written and I am interested to see what happens with the series in the future. I think that the magic system was unique from what I was able to gather about it, but I would like maybe a little more explanation of some of it in the next book. I did also like the MMC and there were some good side characters, but I would like to get to know them a little better in the next book.

First, thank you to A.M. Kay for letting me be an ARC reader! ◡̈

This book took me so long to read.
I couldn’t get into it. The beginning was rough for me. I especially found it hard to envision the excavation site of Enya and the large stone that opened.
To me, I didn’t really get reeled in until Ronan’s betrayal.
After that, I read it all in a day and a half.

Three other things that brought it down for me:
1) The true lack of death scholars? I did enjoy the overall story, but I thought and hoped we would get more of them. We didn’t even really see any. They were just mentioned.
2) I feel like Lyvia having a brother was thrown in in a weird spot. We didn’t hear about him, then all of a sudden looking for him is so important. I didn’t like that personally.
3) The first set of spicy scenes gave me the ick. There was still a lack of emotional connection between Bayne and Lyvia at that point. Not every story needs emotions before spice, but this book is heavily plot driven. It felt out of place and I literally cringed reading it. BUT, the later scenes when there’s obviously love and soul-binding there? 🤌🏻 ✨gorgeous✨

On the up side, I did end up really enjoying this book overall. I found Lyvia extremely likable. She’s far from perfect and she knows that. The connection of Bayne to the Bellators? Never saw that coming and it made me gasp. Forgot to mention, I had a hard time picturing the ashen too. I’m going to need fan art stat.

The ending really isn’t my favorite. I found it lackluster. If it weren’t for the Seros chapter, it would’ve been a complete letdown. Finally Seros did something right.

I’m really hoping the rest of the series is just as good and I can’t wait to keep reading!

I am ✨obsessed ✨ with “Bones of the Bellators”, a new, riveting fantasy book with spicy romance that was difficult to put down and kept me wanting more!! A.M. Kay wrote a stunning masterpiece that has outstanding world-building and an addicting storyline.

As a reader, I was taken on an adventure with likable characters and heaps of action. I fell in love with Lyvia immediately, and she proved to be an amazing FMC throughout the book. She was relatable, humble and intelligent, and she continued to grow and build relationships along the way. Speaking of that, I was SWOONING over the MMC 😏

This book has everything you’re looking for in the romantasy genre: spice, betrayal, slow burn, magic, self-discovery, and powerful female characters. Sprinkle in some pirates, archeology, and undead armies-I can promise you’re in for a treat!

I would highly recommend checking out this new release in March! 🫶🏼 so happy I was chosen as an ARC reader and I can’t wait for book #2!!

Let's talk about the Bones of the Bellators by A.M. Kay.

"I am not afraid of the dark."

What a wonderful and exhilarating ride! Full of mayhem, pirates, magic, and gods! We dive into a world where the Kingdom of Sultira has survived from the wrath of the gods, and has prospered as other kingdoms have fallen. Except for one deep, dark secret: tributes are sent to the dark king each year - hundreds of humans given in sacrifice. A bargain the King has made so that Sultira thrives.

"And in the wake of the horrific acts of mortals, the gods saw fit to wipe the realm of Vael clean of unworthy kingdoms, striking the final blow that shattered the lands in the last war."

In steps our lovely FMC Lyvia, who - already skirting the normal route of most girls, wishes for nothing more than to be a Death Scholar and follow her own path. When an unexpected turn comes to play, and she and a fellow scholar unearth a mystery that would shake a kingdom to its core and awaken old secrets that have been kept hidden for centuries.

As the world turns upside down, Lyvia is captured, saved, and thrown into a world of magic and elves, while trying to understand why and what she has stumbled upon. Betrayals are laid bare, and truths are uncovered. Trust is shattered and wounds are left open. War is coming and no one is safe.

Bones of the Bellators captivated me from chapter one. This adult fantasy is full of elemental magic, epic battles, new found family, betrayal, slow burn romance and spice. Throw in hidden magical history and the undead and all of my fantasy senses were tingling.

Lyvia takes us on an adventure of archeological digs, voyages, rescues, and self discovery. She is such a strong and resilient FMC. Her emotional journey shattered me at tomes. I couldn’t put this book down and wasn’t ready for the story to end!

A.M. Kay did such a great job with this novel. The world building was spot on and the magic system was unique. I fell in love with these characters and bonus points for the horsemanship. I can’t wait for Lyvia and the crew’s story to continue!

Bones Of The Bellators by A.M. Kay is an incredible action-packed adult dark fantasy that has betrayals, magic, romance, pirates, movie worthy fight scenes, and plot twists that will keep reader's guessing until the very last chapter.⚔️🔥

From start to finish I was completely mesmerized by the beautiful, and dangerous world of Vael. The secrets, and mysteries surrounding the Bellators are very intriguing. The fmc Lyvia has a Slytherin moment in the story that I will not elaborate on because of spoilers, but I will say that it is definitely an iconic moment.

Mrs.Kay's idea of Pirates of the Caribbean, but instead of regular pirates let's add hot elf pirates is very clever, and I can definitely see why Lyvia is head over heels for a certain green-eyed pirate captain.🤭

The fight scenes are top-tier,and definitely reminded me of Assassin's Creed with the impressive level of stealth, and expert hand-to-hand combat skills especially from one of my favorite characters Nerissa.⚔️

The slow burn swoon worthy romance throughout the story is well-executed,and never felt rushed. There's a lot of moments where the banter is bantering, and the spice is definitely not fade to black.🔥

I need a movie of Mrs.Kay's amazing story right now please, and thank you!🙌 Seriously this story has an incredible plot, powerful backstories, interesting characters, and action-packed fighting.

After reading this story I wanted to just drop everything, and travel with the crew while going on endless seafaring adventures. 🌊 The found family trope is everything in this story, and I appreciated seeing all the strong, and independent women taking care of business.👏

Thank you Mrs.Kay for the opportunity to read your amazing story, and I will definitely read the sequel whenever it is ready!🖤

Bones Of The Bellators by A.M. Kay releases on March 25th 2025,and trust me reader's do not miss out on this amazing story.

First. WELL👏🏼DONE! SPEECHLESS!!!

A.M did something so different this book! There’s pirates, elves, dark magic, archeology, mental health, and a dash of ONE BED🫣

I continued to want more from this story! I looooved FMC Lyvia. She’s strong and a badass, and has to deal with so many new truths about herself and the world she has grown up in. And then looking at the MMC, WHO IS HE? I will not tell🥵 Because A.M just swings you in one direction and then BAM, hello 🫣

My first thought after finishing this book was ‘I need more’

As a lover of archaeology and artifacts lost to time, this book was a total hit for me.

Bones of the Bellators had magical artifacts, eerie ashen(similar to zombies), endless action, a dark and truly evil villain, a cast of characters you’ll easily fall for, and one of my new favorite love story’s.

If you’re a fan of fantasy romances with a darker edge/themes like me, you will be easily invested in Lyvia’s story.

I loved the plot to romance ratio & the epic battle scenes. I was truly on the edge of my seat while reading!

Bones of the Bellators - releases March 25th, 2025.

This book caught me entirely by surprise. But in the best way possible. Normally with most books, I always find that it takes me a few pages, sometimes a chapter or two to feel gripped into the story and the world it builds. With Bones, it pretty much started from the first page.
This book is action packed, it has some really fascinating characters, some interesting and funny moments, a story that is revealed slowly, and all this means, you are hooked!
I love the FMC and the MMC along with many of the side characters, who all make this book a lovely read.
For me, I just felt the end was a bit rushed, but I fully admit that that could be because I really wanted more. I didn't want this story to end here and now I have to wait for the second book. lol.
I would 100% recommend this book, and congratulations to the author for such a stellar entry to the fantasy genre!

This is the kind of book that you fall asleep and wake up thinking about.

Admittedly, fantasy is not always my go-to genre because the world building can feel intimidating, but I was instantly captivated by Lyvia. I can't wait until I get to explore more of her world.

There were times my jaw was on the floor & if you read the book, you'll know the scene I'm talking about.

This book was an escape and a delight!

What an amazing debut!! 🤯 If you like a fantasy romance with a fast moving plot, go pick up Bones of the Bellators 🖤 Seriously, there was never a dull moment in this one! The FMC Lyvia is so strong and resilient, loved her!! The whole crew is full of amazing characters.

The only negative for me was that because everything moved so fast and there is so much to the world, I feel like some scenes weren't explained enough. I had to go back and re-read some parts to get it because there are A LOT of characters and A LOT of new locations they travel through. But the storyline is amazing, and the last half is especially crazy 🤯🤯 I hope the sequel is just as good, and please done keep us waiting too long 🥹🖤

Thanks so much to the author and R&R Book Tours for my copy 🖤

This just sucked you into the story. While some plot twists you could see there were still others that took you completely by surprise. Lyvia enjoys dig sites and uncovering the lost but what happens when she finds something she wasn’t supposed to? And what about her kidnapping means she gets the sexy elf? Looking forward to what comes next.

THE GASPS I GUSPED. I don’t think I have the proper words to describe how much I absolutely LOVED this book, every word of every page was DEVOURED. Bayne has my heart and soul. I laughed, I gushed, I clutched my fictional pearls. Literally every moment was electrifying, I was hooked, lined and sinkered. Between the slow burn romance, the tight knit crew and the “chosen one” I really didn’t stand a chance against it (not that I wanted to) I cannot wait for the next installment. My sincere gratitude to A.M. Kay for putting me on her ARC team, I can’t wait to see this book on my bookshelf.

I'm in love with this main character! The author somehow combined cozy vibes with tons of action and fantasy. THIS is how you write a debut novel!

I could visualize everything, from the steamy scenes to the fight scenes to the wholesome scenes. Despite the high-stakes fantasy world, the relationships and love scenes between the characters made me want to slip in beside them and hold their hand. It's like I was let in on their secrets. The author kept me hooked from sentence to sentence, and dialogue and action were written seamlessly. Her knowledge of archaeology was apparent in the excavation scenes and the thought process of the main character. It was a perfect mix into the fantasy world like nothing I’ve read before.

Even though this was fantasy and high stakes, the word I keep coming back to when writing this review is “comforting.” I felt like Lyv (the main character) was always doing what she felt was the right thing, even if she regretted her actions.

The plot was epic with a twist that I did not see coming.

Oh and the bad guy is BAD. Like, really, really bad.

Thank you for bringing Bones of the Bellators into the world. I can't wait to see what this author writes next!

I'm floating between 4&4.5 so I'm going with 4.25 stars for this one.

Adult High Fantasy with high stakes, elemental magic, chosen one, more than one villain (maybe), found family, and fated mate vibe that is plot driven with some spice.

"Stars are lost in the light of day, Lyv... You need the darkness to see them"

Lyvia's world of horses and studying with Death Scholars is turned upside down after she discovers a burial chamber with a mysterious stone. The next thing she knows, magic is real, elves exist, everyone seems to be hunting for her, and there's a war going on/looming.
Lyvia is a very imperfect character. She has no fighting experience and (thankfully) doesn't just magically pick it up. She has to deal with A LOT through the course of the book and you are right there learning and feeling with her. She is resilient and resourceful.

"They say the strongest glaciers cannot be melted by the sun... Be strong, Lyvia. Be a glacier"

There is a lot going on in this book and I think the author did exceptionally well with painting an impressive overall picture while keeping you fully invested with action and excellent characters. I enjoyed the unique bonds formed and thoroughly enjoyed the god tier magical elements.

The ending leaves a bit to be desired... but that's fine. It's book 1.
My favorite thing about this book is the intrigue I have with some of the side characters: Saros, Ronan, the Stone Witch, and Astraeus. Even Drystan falls into this category. It makes me eager for the next book. I want to know more about these people. No... I neeeeeed to know more.

I am grateful A.M. Kay allowed me the opportunity to read this and share my thoughts.

Bones of the Bellators dives headfirst into a mystery with the FMC Lyvia discovering an ancient burial site and a strange relic.

From there, the author drops the reader right into the action while building out a rich world with a complex and interesting history. Lyvia learns that everything she has ever been taught and believed was a lie. She's forced to take part in a journey that ultimately leads her to uncover truths about herself, her family and her kingdom.

There's a good chunk of forced proximity that allows the relationship between Lyvia and the male main character, Bayne, to get to know each other (attention: this book contains spice), and for Lyvia, previously a lady in waiting, to have a training montage of sorts.

2/3 of the way through, the action really picks up and the exciting story barrels on through to the end. BotB has so many of the tropes that I love in the fantasy romance/romantasy genre (one horse, one bed, the aforementioned forced proximity, etc.) BUT it also delves into complex themes and shows what motivates the characters and how they have arrived at the people they are. I was kicking my feet when all the carefully crafted storylines and clues started to fall into place.

I can't wait to see what the author has in store for the rest of this series.

I have no words.

This book was stunning.

The writing, the characters, the PLOT, the magic, the battles - the romance!!!

Bones of the Bellators had been on my tbr for a wee while and I'm so mad at myself for not getting to it quicker because my goodness have I been missing out!

This story was phenomenal. Lyvia, a horse loving archaeologist uncovers the tomb of a once powerful magic wielder and ends up plunged into a world of magic and rebellion that she could never of imagined!

Lyvia is our FMC and the story is entirely in her pov and what a treat that is! She is outstanding. Getting to experience the way her brain works, seeing her put pieces together in real time, feeling how her emotions impact and drive her actions. The genuine, lingering pain and self loathing that comes from some of the things she's forced to do to survive - absolutely brilliant writing and character development.
Lyvia is not always the strongest fighter, she trains hard and still struggles with physical fighting and magic wielding. And I so appreciate a female character who shows her continued determination despite the improvements not being as fast or drastic as she would like them to be. She puts pressure on herself that doesn't end up "pushing her to be better", it ends up stressing her out and making it difficult for her to engage with her loved ones and friends. I love Lyvia. Her emotions and reactions felt genuine, even when she wished they would be over with. It made the story hit on an emotional level that most don't.

The found family aspect of the book is brilliant. The different backgrounds, personalities, allegiances and betrayals are all executed perfectly. The relationship development (and breakdowns) feel natural and are easy to empathise with.

The romantic interest is also very well written. A nice build up and burn to them getting together and great insight into how the magic they possess influences and strengthens their bond. The betrayals of the men in this book are harsh!! I put loud gasped! They make some questionable choices. Whilst these are understandable, because we experience them through Lyv's eyes, they really are a stinging, gut deep betrayal and I'm mad on her behalf!

The magic system is utilised really well. Lyv doesnt suddenly become an expert in ancient magic, she struggles to accept and merge with the magic. She struggles to control it and this leads to more self hatred, doubt and fear from allies. I'm really excited to see how the magic and Lyvia's understanding/execution of it develops as the story progresses.

The world building was phenomenal! It truly felt like a complete world, even if we aren't shown all of it. We explores castles, mountains, small villages, forests, dungeons, the ocean and the sky and the writing is so good that the world and environment they're in become important to how their story progresses.

This is a brilliantly fleshed out world, with complex and relatable characters who you want to spend more time with. The plot was brilliant and I'm genuinely excited to keep reading and see how it develops, I know it'll be fantastic. A.M. Kay described it as Indiana Jones x GoT x ToG and I genuinely think that's an unfair comparison because this stands up all on it's own as a bloody brilliant high fantasy novel!

A.M. Kay's Bones of the Bellators is a thrilling and intricately woven tale of dark fantasy, adventure, and discovery. Set against the backdrop of the enigmatic kingdom of Sultira, this novel introduces readers to Lyvia Cantor, a young woman destined to challenge the boundaries of her world and uncover the buried truths of her past.

Lyvia Cantor is a brilliantly crafted protagonist, whose fascination with death and the forbidden lore of the Death Scholars sets her apart from her contemporaries. Despite being denied the official title due to her gender, Lyvia’s unyielding spirit and intellectual curiosity drive her to explore ancient mysteries on her own. Kay masterfully portrays Lyvia's journey from a lady-in-waiting, confined by societal expectations, to a daring adventurer who challenges the very fabric of her society.

The discovery of a hidden burial chamber marks a turning point in the narrative, thrusting Lyvia into a perilous new reality where she is both hunter and hunted. The secrets she uncovers in the chamber are not just archaeological finds but keys to understanding the true history of Sultira and the dark forces at play within its borders.

Kay excels in world-building, crafting a setting where the majestic and the macabre intertwine seamlessly. The kingdom of Sultira is depicted with rich detail, from its opulent palaces to its shadowy underbelly, each described with vivid imagery that transports the reader. The atmosphere of suspense and mystery is palpable, making Sultira a character in its own right.

As Lyvia becomes a fugitive, the story expands into a high-stakes adventure on the open seas with a rogue captain and his crew. The dynamics among the crew add layers of complexity to the story, offering moments of levity, tension, and profound camaraderie. The romance that subtly develops is tastefully handled, enhancing the narrative without overshadowing Lyvia’s personal growth and quest.

The theme of betrayal runs deep, with Lyvia forced to navigate a labyrinth of deceit and loyalty. Her allies are not always who they seem, and her enemies may be closer than she realizes. The line between friend and foe is artfully blurred, keeping the reader guessing at every turn.

The magical elements and the prophecy that binds Lyvia to the fate of her kingdom are elegantly woven into the plot, enriching the lore of the Death Scholars and the mythical underpinnings of the story. The action sequences are thrilling, with sword fights and magical confrontations that are both exciting and well-executed.

Bones of the Bellators is a masterpiece of dark fantasy, offering an intoxicating blend of action, romance, and mystery. A.M. Kay delivers a novel that is both intellectually stimulating and wildly entertaining, with a strong female protagonist who embodies courage, intelligence, and unwavering determination. This book earns a resounding five stars for its impeccable storytelling, unforgettable characters, and the profound journey it takes its readers on. For fans of fantasy seeking a new heroine to root for in a world as dangerous as it is beautiful, Bones of the Bellators is a must-read.

Bones of the Bellators completely swept me up. I devoured it, which honestly surprised me because this isn’t your typical pacing. It takes its time—especially early on—but if you’re like me and love sinking into a world with characters you enjoy hanging out with, you’ll be hooked too.

Lyvia is a fantastic lead. She’s not your cookie-cutter heroine; she’s a nerdy horse girl with a deep love for excavation and history, and I loved that she wasn’t immediately good at fighting. She trains—painstakingly—and I appreciated how grounded that made her. Her journey from reluctant noblewoman to someone shouldering the weight of her mistakes and hard choices is well done, even if a bit slow in spots.

The beginning of the book has this strong archaeology-meets-fantasy vibe, and I wish more of that discovery element had carried through. The politics and world-building are solid, though sometimes skated over in favor of keeping things from getting too heavy. That worked for the pacing, but I wouldn’t have minded going deeper. Especially with all the ancient secrets and forbidden knowledge at play—it’s a cool world, and I wanted to explore it longer.

This isn’t a book that follows a clean, rising action arc. It’s more character-driven, with bursts of action mostly clustered in the back half. There are time jumps that mostly make sense, but I suspect they were a tool to fit a lot of plot into one book. A bit of tightening could’ve helped the overall flow, but it didn’t ruin the experience for me personally.

Romance-wise? There’s a slow burn, and while I usually clock the love interest right away, this book surprised me with multiple viable options. There’s a light “why choose?” energy at times as a result—not fully developed, but I didn’t mind that at all. Some characters do blur together personality-wise, so a little more contrast between them might’ve helped, especially if the love triangle/(dare I hope poly??) dynamic ends up being more of a thing later on.

What also made this book shine for me were the side characters. Bear, Bayne, Isla, and Nerissa? I’m obsessed. And I have to give a special shoutout to the chapter intros—those little excerpts give so much emotional weight and make us care about people who aren’t even physically present in the story. That’s a smart move, and it totally worked. I was deeply upset by one of the losses, and we didn't even know them, minus those excerpts.

Also: the spice? Just enough to enhance the emotional stakes without taking over the plot. PERFECT balance.

All in all, this was a blast. It’s immersive, layered, and a fresh take on epic romantasy with unique world-building and a lead who’s easy to root for. I’m definitely in for whatever comes next. Lyv is the heart of this story, and she absolutely carries it.

Thanks so much to the author and R&R Booktours for the complimentary copy. This review is voluntary and all opinions are my own.
