What is a Bigfoot Begone?! I don't like the sound of that.
These kids are not playing around. I preferred the trap with the hat.

Walstead continues with her successful formula of kids setting creative traps in their attempt to catch an imaginary creature. Illustrations are detailed and text is brief and contains great rhythm and rhyme. This installment in the series begins with Bigfoot in his family’s home in the trees, readying himself for the day’s food foraging. But that search for food leads him to a campsite filled with kids. With the elusive creature spotted, the trap construction begins and despite valiant attempts, is ultimately unsuccessful. The book concludes with the children bringing food to the Bigfoot family and the senior Bigfoot expressing his thankfulness for new friends for his son.
Maybe it was the electronic advanced reader copy I received, but somehow I missed the part when the kids find the hidden home of the Bigfoot family and any evidence that they met or played with the younger Bigfoot. Certainly this newest How to Catch book will be popular with fans of the others, but I wasn’t not as fond of this particular installment.
Bigfoot leaves his home to forage for food for his family when he spots the "how to catch" crew nearby. From Bigfoot's POV, he shares how to evade capture.
