Lo leí por pura cabezonería, porque todo era misterioso y yo necesitaba respuestas pero realmente quedé sumamente decepcionada e insatisfecha. Me habría encantado encontrar algo precioso dentro de esta historia pero no fue así.

Ich mag Syakus Mangas, weil sie trotz des sehr typischen Settings, irgendwie ein wenig anders sind. Oder vielleicht einfach erwachsener? Die Charaktere wirken zumindest nicht so MEGA oberflächlich, wie in vielen anderen BLs, dazu kommt, dass diese meistens auch schon aus der SChulzeit raus sind.

Hier ist das ebenfalls der Fall. Beide arbeiten in jeweils einem Schneidergeschäft und eigentlich dreht sich der gesamte OneShot um ein riesiges Missverständnis, das die beiden haben.
Dabei gehen aber beide ziemlich ernst damit um, was mal was neues ist, normalerweise ist das immer so ein typisches OMG I CANT BE GAY MEP Gelaber, in dem Manga hier wirkt es ein wenig erwachsener, sie machen sich wirklich Gedanken, warum das ein Problem sein könnte - zumindest soweit wie das in einem OS geht :)

Und wieder wundershcön gezeichnet.

Un BL d'enemies/rivals to lovers tot i que els protagonistes eren amics d'infància. Dos modistes, un de tradicional de kimonos i l'altre de vestits occidentals amb molt de potencial, però que es queda en una història massa descafeïnada. El conflicte se sustensa només en la manca total de comunicació entre els nois, que fa una mica de tuf a masculinitat fràgil i rivalitat poc sana, massa previsible tot plegat. I per acabar-ho d'esguerrar, no detecto gens de química en la parella... un volum únic fàcilment oblidable :/

Me encantó la vibra de "amigos y rivales" que en parte también era un raro enemies to lovers, pero al final de todo, una historia bastante agradable.

Los protagonistas tienen una conexión un tanto graciosa que no entendí del todo, pero me agradó la premisa de un romance entre un sastre occidental y un sastre tradicional.

Siento que hubo algunas cosas que se desarrollaron muy superficialmente, pero al ser una historia tan corta creo que es un tanto comprensible.

A bittersweet slowburn. With two stubborn leads. This could do with a second volume, the ending feels rushed! I wanted more lovey dovey. That is probably against character. But still, I wanted to witness the two characters feel more secure in their new relationship 🥺

Their childhood friendship is absolutely adorable.

Even though the pacing is a bit slow and drawn out—I mean, they could’ve solved all their problems in one breath—it’s still pretty fun to read.

Die Manga von von Syaku sind ein must buy

Auch wenn ich die zwei-Teiler, die bereits im Deutschen von Syaku erschienen sind, etwas besser finde, gibt es hier wieder einen sehr schönen Einzelband Boys love Titel.

Maybe the fans are too used to the Gin Tama doujinshi by Syaku sensei and couldn’t review her commercial BL manga objectively? I don’t know why the scores are so low on various platforms.

I personally enjoyed reading this lighthearted story about two childhood friends/competitors from two tailor shops across the traditional shopping street. One may not be able to guess who’s the seme/uke until the last chapter, I quite like this kind of equal relationship.

The light haired boy is from Japanese kimono shop and the dark haired boy is from western suits shop. Their grandparents are good friends so the two have know each other since kids. Both went under rigorous training to prepare for future succession of the family business.

At their Coming of Age ceremony, the two exchanged handmade kimono/suits as present for each other. They realized their feelings for each other has evolved over the years and cannot continue to be just friends…

They became distant ever since, no longer playing together and would have arguments whenever they meet. A year ago the dark haired boy suddenly went away to study at another shop. Now the light haired boy is going on dates to meet girls for potential arranged marriage…
