Aaron Abramson uses the case study of his years with Jews for Jesus going through a redesign process to talk about how design thinking can be applied to ministry contexts. There are a lot of stories and examples of learning that happened smoothly and through difficulty. The book is highly informational and really readable.

I really enjoyed Mission Design. Aaron Abramson tells the story of how he helped Jews for Jesus rediscover its mission by questioning old methods and re-examining what really matters. The book is full of thoughtful insights, great questions at the end of each chapter, and grounded references to leadership thinkers like Drucker, Keller, and Greer.

What I appreciated most was Aaron’s curiosity—he’s clearly a lifelong learner who isn’t afraid to change. This book would be incredibly helpful for any church or ministry leader who feels flat or stuck and wants a clear way to move forward with renewed purpose.

He shows clearly how so many avenues of thinking can be part of fulfilling our call from God and how these things can enable us to follow Him with prayerful commitment and discernment
