Sparks fly when up-and-coming artist Carmen Harris meets football star Natron Dakers at her first gallery opening. Carmen soon discovers that Natron is the type of man who sees what he wants and goes after it… and apparently what he wants is her. Almost before she knows it Carmen finds herself taking everything Natron gives her and begging for more, and when he reveals that he wants to be her dominant daddy and her to be his submissive little girl, she doesn’t hesitate to agree.
At the top of his profession, Natron has money, fame, and all the perks that go with them, and now at last in Carmen he has found a woman he wants to share it with. His life feels complete… until in a split second everything comes crashing down when a devastating injury threatens to end his season—and maybe his career. Natron fears he will lose it all, but will he self-destruct or can he dig deep and fight hard for himself, his teammates, and his little girl?
Publisher’s Note: Daddy’s Game is the second book in the Daddy’s Girl series. It incorporates characters from the first book in the series, Daddy Morebucks, but it is a stand-alone novel. The content of Daddy’s Game includes spankings, graphic sexual scenes, elements of age play and BDSM, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.
A former psychologist, Normandie has always been fascinated by human behavior. She loves writing quirky characters that are all too human. “I’m interested in the kind of relationships people have in real life. So I write about my characters’ messy, unpredictable, and inexplicable journeys to love.”
If there were another 5 hours in the day, Normandie would spend more time needle-pointing and playing with photography. Instead, she’s a Pinterest addict and sports junkie who’s crazy for Twitter and the color pink. She lives with a passel of children, her hunky husband, and a pet pig who loves Red Bull.
There are black football players named "Michael" as in Vick. "Richard" as in Sherman. "Robert" as in Robert Griffin III (better known as RG3). "Walter" as in Payton (RIP Sweetness). "Doug" as in Williams. "Steve" as in McNair (RIP). "Rodney" as in Peete. "Warren" as in Moon.
Why do I mention this?
Because "Natron" is a salt the Ancient Egyptians used for mummification. It is not, nor should it ever be, someone's first name. Especially if the character happens to be a black football player. That my friends, is how to write a stereotyped character. That is called FAIL. That is how authors get in trouble.
"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."
I wasn't entirely sure how I would feel about the kink in this book, but it was beautifully done. It was so strongly based in love, respect and trust that it was just delightful. The group of girls and their chats were great fun too. I can't wait to read of more of their adventures.
The story revolves around a superstar football player and his new artist girl - and if you like the sport, there is plenty of game description, as well as the training regime. The plot is strong, believable, and hugely enjoyable. The lessons learned are also fascinating to watch.
Normandie Alleman doesn't disappoint. In Daddy's Game we are introduced to Carmen, an upcoming artist having her first showing and runs into Natron Dakers. Natron is a successful football star at the top of his game. He has worked hard to get to the position he's in now.
Carmen is nervous about pursuing a relationship for fear of being another knot on his headboard. When Natron brings up the idea of her being his little girl she agrees. This starts a fast growing romance for the both of them.
Daddy's Game is an excellent story that will keep you on your toes with a well written story line, fantastic characters, and drama galore. If you enjoy Daddy/little girl aspects then Daddy's Game won't disappoint.
This is the 2nd book the The Daddy's Girl Series, and I have to say Normandie Alleman did not disappoint!!! This book tells the story of Carmen and Natron. Natron is a spoiled athlete who has it all and then loses everything. His health, endorsements, and his mind. His love for Carmen is a constant throughout the story, for it helps him through the terrible times. Natron is a definitely a Master Dom in the bedroom. The sex scenes are hot!!!!. As it's said..."Love Conquers All" is true here, and makes for an exciting read. I highly recommend it!!!!
ARC provided by publisher through NetGalley for an honest review.
Carmen is an up and coming artist who meets superstar wide receiver Natron at her first show. They hit it off and when he commissions her to do his portrait, their relationship begins. He has specific tastes in sexual partners and he is very cautious about whom he lets into his life. But he knows that instinctively that Carmen is right for him, and soon he's her 'Daddy' and she's his 'little girl.'
The Good: Interesting concept. I liked that although Carmen was a struggling artist, she was driven to succeed. I liked that Natron only had eyes for her, even though he was a pro-footballer with many women throwing themselves at him.
The Bad: The story was a bit generic for me. Nothing happened that made the story or relationship between Natron and Carmen draw me in. He had a controlling mother, but that was quickly resolved. They had a misunderstanding that gave Carmen her, When Stella Got Her Groove Back moment, which was unnecessary and could have resolved with a conversation. And unfortunately that was a bit cliche for me.
But, it was a quick read, and I didn't completely dislike. Therefore it was just okay for me. Would't recommend the material though.
Since I haven’t read the first book in this series I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’m so glad I picked this up! This book was like a window into a realistic Daddy dom/little girl relationship, a hot and sexy tale of redemption. Natron is a little too big for his britches, but then life cuts him down to size and we’re not sure how he will cope. With Carmen at his side we watch the two of them face numerous obstacles from his injury to his mother. Along the way the chemistry between these two sizzles and the sex games are not to be missed. Overall, a satisfying read. Now I’m off to one-click Daddy Morebucks.
I loved the first book in this series, Daddy Morebucks, so I was excited about reading Carmen and Natron’s story. Natron is a trip, a spoiled athlete who has it all – until he loses everything – his health, his endorsements, and possible his sanity. But his love for Carmen is a constant and in the end it sees him through the bad times. Natron has the sex part down, he’s a master in the bedroom and a very creative Dom. The sex scenes are hot as usual and the football scenes were well done. Watching him battle his own demons and come out the other side victorious made this a great read.
You know if a man is hot enough to make you scream Daddy, that he is HOT! And in this book Natron doesn't disappoint. Maybe Natron should have been named Nuclear because he is a time bomb waiting to go off. I will definitely be checking out more from this author.
*I received a free copy of this book for a fair and honest review*
Too many weird comments about the heroine wanting to lose a few pounds and the hero putting down thin women and making comments about EDs. Passing on this one
Sees steroid-fueled physique of world-class football player. Get's impressed. He must be working out all the time to eat all that food and not get fat.
This book is definitely for readers of erotic books. It contains many explicit sex scenes. This is not the type of book I normally read but I like to be open. The story in this one is good. Carmen is an artist who is having a first time showing of her work. Natron is a famous football player who stops in to view her paintings. He asks to talk to the artist because he is so impressed with her work. She is struck by how handsome he is and he is impressed with her. The next day the owner of the gallery calls her and tells her she has been commissioned to do a portrait. She is surprised when the door is opened by Natron. She can't imagine him being attracted to her because she is fuller figure and he dates so many models and celebrities. He invites her to stay for dinner and they find they have a lot in common. Natron is into kink but he has never felt comfortable with a girl to see if she is submissive. He feels that Carmen may be the one. when he kisses her the sparks fly and so does their relationship. They start dating and seeing one another as he introduces her to the world of kink. He ask her if she would like to be his submissive and she says yes. He is so happy. During a game Natron is hurt and the road back is long. Can their relationship withstand this and his mother who comes to take care of him. If this is your type of book read this one. I know you will enjoy it.
***** Daddy's game by Normandie Allenman 2nd book of the series is Awesome. Must read Normandie has done it again. Her writing and story is HOT... She makes you feel like you are part of the story the way it draws you in. This story is about Carmen and Natron. Carman an Artist who is just starting out and Natron a famous football player. They are the perfect Daddy D/S relationship. He loves to make up games for them in the bedroom as he teaches her the ways of being in a daddy, dominate/sub relationship. When they finally get together feeling like Carmen is only a notch on his belt encounter. Feeling self conscious of herself being more on the heavier side and him being famous, spoiled gets what he wants type of guy had women from everywhere looking to hook up with Natron. Until his injury he had to rebuild himself up and with Carmen by his side he has it all. His life is complete... You will not only love this book, but you definitely need to read the Series.. I am looking forward for the next book..
Normandie has done it again! Carmen has always wanted to be an artist. Since she was little it was the best way she knew how to express herself and she never lost that passion but never dreamed of making a career out of it. During her first show she meets Natron. Natron is used to the lime light and being the center of attention, after all he is a famous football player. When he meets Carmen at her show he is instantly attracted to her. Natron devises a plan to get closer to Carmen and get to know her. During their time together he realizes that Carmen is just the woman he has been looking for. He takes a leap of faith by asking her to bus “little girl”. Carmen can’t believe how lucky she is that Natron would pick her out of all the women who are constantly vying for his attention. Their relationship is not easy by any means they experience trials and tribulations that will test their love for each other. The sex scenes in this book are off the chain and be forewarned HOT AS HELL!!
"Daddy's Game (The Daddy's Girl Series Book 2)" by Normandie Alleman is an edgy but powerful erotic character piece about the emotional and sexual-dominance relationship between footballer (and 'daddy') Natron and artist (and 'his girl') Carmen. Written with great character depth and chemistry this novel explores a lot about the needs and desires of its protagonists while featuring hot, steamy and kinky sex. An accomplished 18+ rated novel on a less explored side field of the very popular BDSM genre that should do well with all fans of erotic fiction.
GAME ON!I was pleasantly surprised at how romantic Daddy's Game was. I was expecting a sexy book, and it was definitely that, but it was also sweet. Very believable characters! The fact that they have a club for these Daddy's little girls was intriguing and I particularly loved the scene at the rodeo where we get to know these girls better. I'll be watching for more stories in this series. Kuddos Ms. Alleman and thanks for giving us an incredible read!
I was given the honor of reading and reviewing this for an awesome author. This was a very good read. Liked how it went through all the stages of injuries clear back to health and returning to the game. Also liked how it touched upon the things people blow out of proportion especially with celebrities. Even though the truth is something completely different.
I like how they both met each other's needs. It wasn't always easy and an amount of difficulty had to be overcome. The best part was they support the other one's dreams.
Daddy’s Game is the first book I’ve read by Normandie Alleman, I have to admit that I have a huge fetish for reading ‘daddy’ books. No, I absolutely do not condone, nor do I read books about incest. The types of books, including this one, are older men and younger women who role play. Daddy Doms essentially like to have younger submissives and enjoy caring for them in all ways. Anyway, it’s hot, so don’t judge without trying one out.
Carmen is an artist. Natron is a superstar football player. Complete opposites and yet something draws them together in a way that neither truly understands. Natron has been a player and doesn’t let his kinky side out to the women he dates, that is reserved for professionals. Carmen has no experience in the kinky side of sex … that’s okay, Natron is ready to teach her.
I really enjoyed the personalities of the characters. Carmen was docile as a submissive, yet strong at the same time. Natron is a sexy beast of a man and definitely a doting ‘Daddy’ to his ‘babygirl’. The dynamic of the relationship was really easy to relate to and the chemistry was extremely hot.
I had a really hard time with how little actual discussion there was about BDSM. He makes several comments about how he isn’t a sadist, and yet he uses spankings on a regular basis and enjoys her tears. There is no real talk about safewords, in fact hers isn’t one she chooses, it’s a generic of “safeword” I’m not sure if the author was trying to do something different than the standard red, yellow, green system, but sticking with what works would have been more believable especially among readers who know the intricacies of the lifestyle.
Daddy’s Game had a really strong start, I was incredibly excited when I got this book and after I started I was even more excited…. somewhere along the way it lost that spark. By the time Natron is back in the game and all the technical talk starts I was detached from the storyline. The entire ending of the book was so full of football jargon that someone who isn’t a sports fan couldn’t possibly keep up nor enjoy what was happening. I get that it is important to showcase how he gets back into the game, how he finds his way given his injuries to be the best he can be… completely necessary, but a play by play of every single point scored? No way.
Overall, I give this one three stars for storyline. It had a lot of potential, the author is an obvious talent, but the fine details lacked in follow through. As far as the smut factor I’m waffling between two and three drenched panties, so I will leave it at that since it doesn’t actually count in the rating.
I received this from Normandie before and I wished I read it sooner *stupid challenges* but I loved this book!!!
Cover: 4 stars Sex/steaminess: 5 stars Story line: 5 stars Characters: 5 stars Overall rating: Big 5 stars Personal rating: Huge 5 stars
Book Pairing: M/F Did it give me a book hangover: Yes!!! I wanted MORE! Is this a review book or personal read: Review Read
Why I chose this book? Normandie asked me to read it and give it an honest review.
What I liked about this book. I love this series so freaking much, after reading Daddy Morebucks I thought that Normandie couldn't do it again but oh hell she did and she did it better than the first one (in my eyes anyway) what I loved about this one was how chunky she made Carmen not that she was massive obese or anything but at the same time she wasn't stick thin skinny and I loved that because now days everyone is a size 8 or 10 and for me to read a book that was on nearly the plus size made me love it that much more!!! I was like power to the plus girls bwahaha! I loved how Natron was so full of himself but inside he was just as shy as she was, I like his cheeky witty comments and even though I know shit about sports but I was pulled into this one and understood some stuff about it.
This is a great romantic tale of Daddy/little girl relationship with great toys and sexy smutty BDSM scenes that were freaking hwat!!! The whole age play is well written and age play is a hit for me and this ticked all my boxes. But I wanted to say a great massive thanks to Normandie for the *Oh My God panties dropping PONY PLAY scene* sorry I had to pick my mouth off the floor then *wipes drool* lol. But the two MC's were great and I fell in love with them from chapter 1 with their witty banter from Natron and Carmen's shy sweet innocent personality....but then it's like a demon has been let loose and she turns into this sexy animal ;)
What I didn't like about this book. Unlike the first book which I had a problem in that one, with Daddy's Game I had not one single problem.
Would I read more from this author? It's a silly question really but I'll play along...hmmm would I read more from this author...HELLS YEAH!
Would I recommend this book? Yes I would. If your into the Daddy/Little girl genre with some sexy BDSM and of course some sweet romance then go and get this!
I can only give this book an ok rating. I was expecting an erotic romance, but found that Daddy's Game focuses more on his game, not as a daddy to his little girl, but to his professional game, football.
Carmen and Natron's relationship is barely mentioned beyond a few sex scenes which only touch on the daddy/little girl aspect. I thought it was going to be really strong because it starts off with Natron explaining the dynamic to Carmen which I liked. After that the communication dies. Neither discusses their relationship together and Carmen is blindsided to hear on tv he wants to marry her. She also doesn't tell him that when he's hurt and needs help with his recovery that she feels pushed out by Natron's mom until almost at the end of his recovery. Then there's a big blow up about a picture of Natron in a tabloid with a prostitute in a hot tub. Instead of discussing it Carmen gets drunk and does a stupid, illegal move I hate in books: sets his stuff on fire. Of course, he's innocent and if she'd just thought about celebrities and tabloid and then spoken to him... There's no romance for me with out communication between the principle characters.
Natron also pushes the line a couple of times including one when he beats Carmen with a belt in drunken anger (because of his work situation) and she's worried he'll get her with a buckle. She doesn't use her safeword. Bad, irresponsible dom, bad, irresponsible submissive. We know she knows how to use a safeword and that it's her prerogative because it's mentioned a couple of times by her and by her other "little girl" friends. He does apologize the next day, but we don't get access to the details, the text just says he apologizes and it's back to the text giving us more info. about his job.
About the erotic part: I didn't find the book really steamy, again probably because I didn't feel the characters were really connected. There is a pony play scene which kind of comes out of nowhere and I'm not sure how it fits with a daddy/little girl relationship.
The rest of the book was about Natron and football. I don't mind sports heroes and getting a little detail about his work situation, but I was reading this for the (erotic)romance.
So, while the writing flowed well and the story moved along, I'd say 80% was about Natron and football and 20% was about Carmen and Natron, but wasn't well developed and had some problems for me.
I received a copy from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
I absolutely adored this book. As a love story it is just about perfect. Not only is it well written, it contains two of the best drawn, most believable characters I’ve come across in an erotic novel. The heroes, Carmen and Natron grow and develop throughout the story in believable – and not always expected – ways. Natron is a successful American Football star. When he sustains an injury which prevents him playing for months and threatens his entire career, his and Carmen’s responses to it – both good and bad – are credible and engaging.
There’s quite a lot of sports talk in the book so I am afraid that I skimmed through some of the more sportsier passages in Daddy’s Game. Once you start talking about quarterbacks and scrimmages and pass plays, I just zone out. While I might not have understood any of it, the sporty aspects of the book provide a nice background against which the drama of the story can play out. Natron’s high profile career as a professional sportsman contrasts nicely with Carmen’s job as an artist. It showcases Natron’s personality as a high-achieving forceful man whose competitive edge drives him to go for the things he wants.
The sex scenes in this book are super hot as the pair enjoy all manner of dom/sub sexy fun. There was a pony play segment which I did find a little weird. Not the bridle and ponytail butt plug which was fine but the post sex scene in which Natron has Carmen lick his spunk from a bowl. I felt a little bit queasy at the thought of it. If I’m dealing with a gentleman’s bollock yogurt, I want it to fresh from the source, as it were. Once it’s been sitting around, congealing in a bowl, it’s rather unappetising.
Still, you can’t fault the characters (or Normandie Alleman) for their inventiveness. I loved spending time with Carmen and Natron. As people, they were far from perfect. Often their behaviour made me want to bang their heads together and then give them a jolly good talking to. “Natron, stop taking your frustrations out on Carmen. Carmen, stop leaping to conclusions. Both of you, talk this through.” But you know what, that just made me like them even more. Relationships aren’t always easy and the difficulties Natron had to overcome were real enough that I’m prepared to give him a bit of slack. Ultimately, the real reason I got frustrated with them was I cared about them so damn much. I really, really wanted things to work out for them.
Overall this was a fantastic book, even better than Daddy Morebucks. I can't wait to read more in this series.
Daddy’s Game is the second book in the Daddy’s Girl series by Normandie Alleman. While this book is part of a series, this book can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel without any problems. In addition, some of the characters from the first book appear in this book.
Carmen Harris is an up and coming artist. She is a down to earth girl who knows what she likes but is very naive. She comes across as a very sweet and shy woman. At her first gallery opening, she meets Natron Dakers. He blows her away but thinking he is out of her league, she does not go after him.
Natron Dakers is a football star for the Dallas Vipers. He is a hot and sexy man who goes after what he wants. He values Carmen for who she is and does not take her for granted no matter how difficult life gets. While an injury slows him down, she shows him what he could do.
The chemistry between Natron and Carmen is blistering. This book was very well written. I loved how this book switched from Natron’s point of view to Carmen’s. It gave a better perspective of both characters. In addition, I enjoyed how the timeline of the book was over a period of over a year rather than a few weeks. It felt more realistic. The main characters and the secondary characters were realistic and appealing. Overall, this was a great book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I rated Daddy's Game by Normandie Alleman 3.875 LEAVES!!
First off, this is my first time to read a Daddy Dom/Baby girl book. I normally like to stick to BDSM but this caught my eye so I thought I would give it a try. I thought it would be weird for me to hear the character call her boyfriend 'Daddy' but this book makes it work and never felt weird or out of place.
Carmen meets football star Natron at her first gallery opening. There is an immediate attraction between them. What I loved most about this book is that Carmen is not a size zero. She has low self-esteem because she believes she is on the heavier side and she doesn't understand what a good looking professional athlete would see in her. Natron wants nothing more than to have Carmen be his babygirl and to be her Daddy. Natron has it all, he is at the top of his game, endorsements, and his babygirl there by him to support him until he suffers an injury. He has to rebuild himself with Carmen by his side. Their relationship has some setbacks...not easy by any means but with their love for each other they can make it work. The sex scenes in this book are very sexy. I loved the little games that Natron always had in mind for Carmen. Overall a good read and I look forward to reading more from Normandie Alleman!
Since I didn't read this book in order I am going to one-click Daddy Morebucks!
Thanks to NetGalley for providing the book for review purposes.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. This is the second book in the Daddy's girls series. It is the story of Natron, a professional football player at the height of his career and Carmen who is a up and coming artist. They meet at a gallery opening where Carmen is displaying her work for the first time. She is scared to death and locked herself in the office. Natron wants to meet the artist and once he does he is smitten. Carmen can not believe that Natron would be interested in her when he could have any women he wants.
He finally breaks through and they begin dating. This is where it gets interesting and hot and steamy. Natron asks Carmen to be the submissive "little girl" to his dominant "daddy". She agrees and everything is great until a devastating injury on the football field threatens everything that Natron believes defines who he is. He struggles to recover and Carmen is there every step of the way. Carmen struggles also feeling at times that she is an afterthought in Natron's life. Is the love they have enough to get them through his recovery?
This was an enjoyable read with hot and steamy sex. It is also a sports romance because Natron is a football player headed to the Super Bowl. Definitely an adult read. I look forward to reading more by this author.
This could have been a lot sexier than it was. I'm not typically a reader of Multi-Racial romances and this book is an example why. If a man ever said, "MMmmm girl," I would probably give him a death glare and walk away. Natron way over uses the word girl, babygirl. I also am not really turned on by "horse play". (If you read the book you'll know)
Besides that, the sex is super hot, sizzling off the pages. Carmen is a bigger girl which was great! I liked her, she was down to earth and not shocked by the fame of Natron or herself. But I had to wonder, if not for the Daddy's Girls, would she have had friends? The story revolves around Carmen, Natron, his mom and the other daddy's girls. What about Carmens life before Natron? I would have loved to get a better feel for her.
At the end of the day, this is an afternoon read that has some extremely "fan yourself" hot moments and a good romance to it.
I didn't get the chance to read book one in this series and really didn't know what to expect when I picked it up, but I really liked it.
Natron is a football player with lots of attention on him, but he wants nothing more than to find someone who needs him and will be able to handle his strong desire to take care of his "little girl". Carmen is an artist, she meets Natron at one of her shows and is commissioned to paint a picture of him.. Combustion happens when they come together, but will they be able to get through the tough times.
This is the first of Normandie Alleman's books that I have had the pleasure of reading, but I doubt it will be the last. It is well written and very HOT! I received this book as a complimentary copy from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review.
I loved this story. It is hot! Carmen is an unassuming artist. She meets sexy Natron, who is a football player, at an art show. The love story begins…. Eventually she faces challenges that threaten her happiness in her relationship with Natron. It was interesting to follow the development of these characters. The story is packed with spicy encounters. But that’s not the main focus of the story.
Be aware this book delves into the kinkier side of BDSM. Loved it as I can relate to the lifestyle. It was well-written and the plot wonderful. I highly recommend and give it high marks. I received my gifted copy from author in exchange for an honest review.
Every once and a while I read a new release in the erotic genre, and they are usually raunchy with very little plot and/or character development… this book was not like that at all. I thought the story itself was very realistic, and the characters were extremely believable. It is definitely for an 18+ reader, and delivers in the sexual scenes as well. I am now intrigued to check out the first book in the series, and look forward to the release of the third book later this year. I will recommend this to friends.
I dnf'ed this book two years ago and finally had gotten around to finish it. I was in a mood for a daddy kink read and there you have it: that's been collecting dust since 2014, haha.
This book's an another okay read for me. Both Hero and heroine settled into their relationship very quickly and there are a lot of scenes that I felt were unnecessary to the book as a whole. Also there's a pony play scene that I felt might be uneasy for some, so if it bothers you please stay away from this book!
