The quirky, naif-style embroidery designs are delightful and the projects are attractive and practical. Flowers, foliage, birds and houses frolic across the pages, along with cheerful mottos. Only 6 simple stitches are used and the embroidered panels are framed by easy patchwork. Gail provides full-scale patterns and complete instructions for table-runners, bags, wall-hangings and sewing aids. And she is Australian!

Inspiring

This book makes you want to add embroidery to your quilting. The designs are modern and I loved her colourways. I bought it for my kindle but a paper book would have been the better choice b we cause of the templates.

Lovely! Several projects inspired me - I love incorporating embroidery with piecing and quilting. Easy to follow intructions. Good general instructions for all levels.

Second time reading - two more projects that I "need" to make.
