Rate this book
Extra-terrestrial species are locked in conflict, two innocent humans are thrust into a cosmic war, and the battlefield is Earth. Will Penny ever be happy again? Her world has crumbled and all she can see ahead of her is darkness. Her life has spiralled out of control and what she seeks is answers.

Nineteen-year-old Alex has a mysterious entity within that manipulates him. He too is seeking answers, but ones to very different questions. Somehow, he is drawn to Penny and a seemingly chance encounter takes place. Could it be that their destinies are bound together?

Upon the horizon, a war is coming. Extra-terrestrial species are set to clash, but they will do battle on Earth. The Reptilians want our planet for their own and will stop at nothing to meet their terrible ends. Opportunity knocks as the Mercenaries have acquired a powerful generator, the core, and have a buyer. The Reptilians mean to hijack the deal and use its power to achieve their goals, but it’s not only them who have eyes on this prize. A fearsome clone army want the core for themselves, and they will leave devastation and death in their wake to get it.

Penny and Alex must join forces with the Alien Alliance and the Mercenaries to stop a galaxy-wide war before it begins. The fate of all humans on Earth relies upon them. Can the seemingly puny force of the Alliance, possibly defeat the coming storm, for the sake of every soul in the galaxy?

Igniting Kid’s Imagination

‘Once upon a time, there was a wizard and that wizard had a dream. His dream was to spark kid’s imagination through the telling of amazing tales. So, with his pointy hat on his head and his long and slender fingers, he picked up a pen and began to write. The candle flickered as the pages turned one after the other, night after night.

He journeyed long and journeyed far. He went all the way to the mountains, through the forests and valleys. He travelled through the mists of time and through the wonders of space. He met dragons and ghosts and a myriad of magic creatures along the way. And, he did it all without ever leaving his chair.

As the images ran wild through his mind, his pen scratched away on the paper. Then one day, after many years and much toil, he had done it. He had created wondrous books to ignite kid’s imagination and to help them to think and grow and dream.

And just in case you wondered, the wizard still journeys through story world and scribbles by candlelight to this day.’

I literally couldn't put this book down. So often I'm disappointed with the second book in a series, but not this time. If possible this was even better than the first one, which is saying something. If you enjoy suspense, drama, a brilliant story, laughter and sorrow all in one book, then this is a must read. It includes such a clever and fascinating take on aliens and reptilians, with the most loveable characters that jump off the page. The courage of the humans, who are already dealing with harships, is inspiring, as is their determination to do what's right no matter what, and no matter how crazy their lives have suddenly become. With both old and new friendships full of loyalty and often hilarity, the tension builds as the characters are embroiled in a plot that's out of this world! You'll be laughing and crying simultaneously as you read this. Can't recommend it highly enough!

I don’t want to give anything away about Entities Connected, but I can say that Entities Divided is everything you want in a sequel. This book continues the heartfelt story of its predecessor, while providing more answers to what’s really going on in this universe in a fast-paced, action-packed story.

Brunswick’s writing style keeps the story moving along and will have you glued to every page. Marketed as young adult, these books are perfect for readers of any age who want to channel the big kid within. And while you’re at it, you just might find some food for thought about humanity and the world in which we live.
