It was alright chick lit, and I was interested in the stories of all the main characters. However, the length of time spent really getting into one person's story (3-4 chapters) only to switch to a character whose life I'd forgotten the details of, was annoying. In the end, I skipped ahead to read all of Eve's story before going back to catch up on the others.

The description promises a completely different story. A lot of the book is about sailing, which could have been completely left out, since it was boring and had nothing to do with the storyline. I hated that I had to read it to the end to know if my indifference towards the characters was unfair. Sadly it wasn't.

There is three main characters; Eve, Ashling and Sally who somehow have a relationship with Mark. Reading the synopsis, one will expect lotsa of conflict between each of these female characters especially when all of them ties to one person; Mark but it was not in this book. The book focus on each of the characters individually; even the flashback about their relationship with Mark and their expectation, anxiety of the future and their thoughts of being seen together with Mark again.

I expect lotsa of drama leading to the meeting with Mark ; i.e. the reunion dinner where Mark is the guest of honor but the author focuses more on the female characters' daily life as well as their challenges that they have face day in and out. There was not much climax at the end of the book when all three of them met Mark. Overall, the book possess a simple story plot but lack of excitement or dramatic effect.

I actually liked this book! It started off slow with chapter upon chapter about sailing. But I loved eve and Sally. I found myself smiling at the book. I found mark a little bit pathetic though.. A very "emotional" man in touch with his "feelings". I would have liked a few bitch fights over mark though!

This was a little dull in comparison to her book Always A Bridesmaid. At first it was a little difficult to follow which person was speaking and from which time frame in their life. A cute story even if the ending was a little predictable.

I borrowed this book after having read Always the Bridesmaid. The storyline is good but it didn't keep as interested.

This book did not turn out the way I thought it would. 3 different girls and one guy, I figured it would be a love tangled square but no. not even close. It was still a good book, took me awhile to get into it at the start but I completed it.
