Tighter Binds
Laney Holden has found exactly what she was looking for behind the door in room 237...or has she? Alex seems like the perfect man. He's caring, gentle, wonderful. Emma has continued with the story of Laney and Alex and their sexual relationship in room 237, where she is still yet to physically see him due to wearing a blindfold. You can really feel that these two characters are falling for each other, despite it supposed to be being all about casual sex, no complications. It is played nicely that out of the four men Laney fancies at work, you are still left guessing which of the four Alex could be, or maybe the twist is that he is none of them, hence the reason for the blindfold as she may never look at him ordinarily. It feels like having no "sight" with Alex, Laney is having to rely on her gut instinct and other senses, showing that looks aren't, and shouldn't be, the overriding factor when choosing a partner. Well written, a good pace, hot steamy scenes and some humour thrown in too. I'll look forward to the last in the trilogy.

Tighter Binds, the follow-up to The Club, is just an entertaining and engaging as it's opener. I immediately purchased it after finishing the club and devoured it in a couple of hours. The scenes are fun and inventive, different from anything I've ever read before. The only reason I gave it a four instead of a five is one particular scene that was a little difficult for me to swallow.

Tighter Binds, the second novella in the Room 237 series picks up right where The Club ended. What a relief! I was worried that when this story began it would be months later and I'd miss out on all the sexy suspense that was built up in the first book. No need to worry. Ms. Payne satisfies her readers by picking up the action right where the cliffhanger from The Club left you begging for more.
Payne weaves the back story in very well. You don't ever feel like unnecessary information is being shoved down your throat.
I enjoyed how the characters developed in Tighter Binds. These are not flat, cardboard cut-out characters. Laney is admirable, relatable, and funny as hell. Alex is a dream!
Speaking of funny as hell, just like with The Club I found myself laughing out loud from several scenes in this book. This is one of my favorite things about Payne's writing style. You're getting erotica, but you're getting erotica that is well written, unlike a lot out there as of now, and it's erotica that not only gets you panting, but it also brings a smile to your face.
I think that anyone who is a fan of romance, erotica, and colorful characters will enjoy this book as much as I did. I highly recommend the entire series.

Great follow up book! There was one scene that wasn't for me, but Emma writes so well that it didn't bother me at all. I was dying to find out who Alex was, so I got the third book. This book really gets you going because of Alex's identity. Highly recommend, even for those that don't normally read erotica.

This book had me on the edge of my seat! when I read the ending I had already expected as much but my thought is "WHO"!!!!! I literally screamed at my phone OH MY GOD NOOO NOOO! and now I have to wait until 6/24!? I cant remember the last time a book had me this freaked and anxious!

In book 2 of this incredible novella series, the sexual relationship between the Laney and Alex gets more "creative." The two click on so many levels and end up meeting regularly at the Club to explore their sexual fantasies -all the while, Laney remains blindfolded. Their escapades include dabbling with BDSM among other things. Their physical connection and their sexual compatibility lead to long, love making sessions that last into the early hours of the morning. Laney's new sex life seems to transform something about her because men are overtly noticing her and she soon finds herself having to juggle her male suitors.
This series' wonderful wit and many steamy liaisons continue to make this a delightful read! Laney's attempts at maintaining emotional distance and her nagging curiosity about Alex's true identity create mounting suspense as they continue to use one another in many, many pleasurable ways.

This 2nd book in the series, only gets better. We get to know the characters better in this book. Laney and Alex gets to learn each others likes, and things they like to try. The more Laney meets with Alex, and being blindfold only makes her feelings stronger. I loved how Mrs. Payne lets the story grow. As Laney and Alex try to keep feelings and great sex separate, their finding it harder to do. Each wonderful evening together in room 237 just makes that line disappear. Emma Payne has a great writing style, has a away of telling a story!! WOW GREAT SERIES!! Recommend to all erotica romance readers!!

Loved this one just as much as the first book if not more. I'm still in love with these characters and love the growth that we see in this book. I loved how the story picks up right were the first book ends so I didn't feel like I missed anything. I also loved how it ended with this particularly cliffhanger and can't wait to dive into the next book to see what happens next.

Second Book As Good As The First
Laney has met "Alex" in the last book and things have gone well, other than the fact that she still has to wear a blindfold whenever they meet in Room 237. She is falling in love, but she has yet to lay eyes on him. By the end of the book she realizes she might know Alex.

Things are getting more intense and by things I mean the sex and emotions.
Laney is having trouble keeping emotions out of Room 237 and now she's made a revelation about who Alex could be. I can't wait to find out who he actually is!
