Do you feel like you are carrying an invisible load that you can’t explain?
Do you wonder why you feel an emptiness within when to others your life seems perfect?
Do you sometimes struggle to connect with who you really are?
You acquired a metaphorical backpack when you entered this world. As you heard voices, saw faces, experienced sensations and emotions, your body tucked every one of these experiences into this backpack. In adulthood this backpack is laden with expectations, emotions and beliefs that you might not be consciously aware of. No wonder you sometimes feel like you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Rohini invites you to view yourself, your life and the people in it with a fresh pair of eyes. She offers you a toolkit for creating your abundant life. The concepts are simple yet powerful. She brings them to life with anecdotes, stories and shared experiences that will make you see that you are a unique being, and that you have the resources to create the life you want.
First you must be willing to put down your backpack and take a peek inside. Get clear on what you need for the next phase of your life and who you want to be. You can’t flow unless you let go. If you want to fly, travel light.
A Gem of Wisdom, Gentle Guidance and Self-Awareness
Rohini’s book is such a gem, full of wisdom, clarity, and a gentleness that makes you feel like you’re having a conversation with a trusted friend.
It’s so well written, and the way she shares her insights is simple to follow yet goes way deeper than you’d expect.
I loved the conclusions at the end of each chapter, they’re like mini check-ins that really help the ideas sink in. And her 7C’s framework is so practical, easy to remember, and so full of meaning.
Honestly, this book feels like having a coach walk alongside you, guiding you through life’s twists and turns. I know I’ll keep coming back to it again and again and it has earned a spot right on my bedside table.
If you’re looking for something that will inspire you and give you real, lasting guidance, I can’t recommend it enough!
Rohini's book What’s In Your Backpack? feels like a warm invitation and much-needed reminder to pause, unpack, and travel lighter through life. Much like Rohini herself, the tone is thoughtful, practical and engaging - with valuable and easily actionable takeaways from it. I love the abundance mindset - I have seen it work for me; the wonderful illustrations (done by Rohini's talented son Yuvi) and the real-life anecdotes make the simple yet profound wisdom in her storytelling all the more relatable.

This book is a slow read as there is so much to absorb. It invites the reader to reflect and apply the case studies with supporting exercises on how to address challenges that we may encounter through life.
