Max is new to ShadowBrooke, being the newest recruit at Blackhawk Security, who finds himself on a routine assignment - providing protection for Francesca Dobrev, a famous actress set to film her final movie. Little did he know that this job would forever alter the course of his life.

Francesca is headed to what will be her final movie. She's prepared to retire in ShadowBrooke.Then she receives a letter that shakes her. Not quite a threat but not a happy note either.
To Max's chagrin or delight he feels something towards Francesca. But he has a job to do. So security schedules coordinating with the police is set up. Meanwhile Francesca is oogling her bodyguard and what a body it is.
Will the writer of the letter be found? What about the attraction Francesca and Max feel towards each other?
Another great story in this series.

Bodyguard and A Stalker
This story was an unexpected surprise to my night of reading. Max is assigned to protect actress Francesca while on site at Shadowbrooke and an added stalker to her daily schedule added suspense and danger to the overall plot. It was definitely an enjoyable read with a forced proximity, forbidden bodyguard romance.

Sweet and steamy with a hit of steamy passion

They meet when she is being stalked by someone and needs a bodyguard. When Max is assigned to guard Francesca things turn hot and steamy between the two even as they are opposites in many ways.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I'm glad Max and Francesca found love with each other. The stalker issue was well done and I liked how Francesca's input helped to reveal the stalker. Max and the team were good in catching the stalker.

This book is enjoyable to read, but I found myself struggling with Max and Francesca some. I am not quite sure why because I love all of Kaci's books that I have read so far. I still suggest you read this book as for it has a really good ending between Max and Francesca.
