I am a Tunisian-born French scholar and writer.
I write poetry, fiction, and non-fiction political and sociological essays and academic books.
As I write on the Middle East, I am based since 2011 in Doha (Qatar). Before, I was living in Paris (France).

I have published my work in three languages: French, Arabic, and English.
I have written and published fiction and poetry too. Literature is still my great passion. I have in my computer three unpublished novels, which I have completed since more than a decade and did not yet find time to edit and prepare for publishing. But I am determined to get over with this work.
I have started my life with literature. I have published my first novella in a newspaper before I was 15 years old. I got 6 months-free subscription in the newspaper, as a reward for young writers.
I continued to publish since in the newspapers and magazines, until I was able to make a living of my writing.
I am still in the business.
Though, as a scholar, I am assigned to academic writing, I wish only to be able some day to give more time to my old passion: literature.
