Harlem didn’t have time for love. She was focused on graduating from nursing school and starting her career. Besides, the last time she tried the love thing she ended up heartbroken. She was not looking for love again … but it found her and his name is Sinclair. He has all the qualities that Harlem likes except he is a hustler, and she promised herself that she would never get involved with someone living that lifestyle again. She tries to run from what he is offering. However, Sinclair is persistent and it pays off… or does it? And to complicate matters even more, someone else has his hopes set on the beautiful and ambitious Harlem as well.
Sinclair is used to getting who and whatever he wants, and right now he wants Harlem. She’s different and Sinclair has to convince her that he’s not out to hurt her. There’s only one problem…. Vivian
Vivian has been Sinclair’s “girlfriend” for the last few years. Does he really think he can just walk away from her because the next ‘best thing’ comes around?
Chase wanted Harlem when he first saw her in Miami, but she’s playing hard to get. He’ll play the friend role for only so long. He’s not afraid of a little competition, but he never planned on mixing business and pleasure. But Harlem changed everything
Kendra and Monica are tired of their best friend not having any fun. They are convinced that someone like Sinclair is just what Harlem needs to get her groove back. So why does she keep mentioning Chase? How do you go from having no man to a choice of two men, both paid, both fine, both want Harlem?
Once a good girl goes bad, is she really gone forever?
This is my first time reading a book by this author and I must say I enjoyed this book very much I can't wait to see what will happen to Chase, Harlem, Sinclair but Chase did move to get a reaction out of Sinclair and Harlem so I believe Chase is going to be a problem right along with Vivian. Can't wait for the next book. Keep up the good work Ms. Malone
Great book Coco!!! I'm going to need Harlem to get out of her feelings and stop playing games with Sinclair. I swear she get mad at all the wrong things and probably messed up big time. As for Chase, he's clearly not even worth the drama. I wonder what Harlem will have to say once Sinclair informs her of what was stated. She better get her man back and stop with the foolishness.
The story was really amazing but I hope sequel is even better with Harlem dating Chase and Sinclair has do everything in his power to get back his woman even it means leaving the game :)
This was good and please let Heaven and Sinclair get together it is something about Chase that isn't right.Look how he went in her phone and then tried to lie about sleeping with her to make Sinclair mad. Please rush part two.
for this to be coco first book she did a really good job. I loved how sin and Harlem was playing games with each other and can't wait to find out what happens with them. Now Harlem Monica and Kendra seem to have a really good friend I loved that too it's good to see a friendship that no one is shady. Chase has to go all I want to know is has Harlem gone to far can't wait to read part 2
This book was a interesting and a bit frustrating. It has definite potential. There was just a lot of back and forth with feelings. It seemed a bit high school and immature at times. They are supposed to be adults instead their acting like silly teenagers throwing temper tantrums. This was my first read from this author. I will try the next book to see what happens with the story hopefully the characters are more developed as the story continues.
OMG, this book here though is all types of awesomeness. I'm so in love with Sin and he don't even know it lol. I really hope he and Harlem get that happy ending because that dude Chase and that bish Vivian are straight trife
I really enjoyed this book. I'm loving Harlem and Sin relationship. I'm hoping for the best. Chase just showed a sneaky side of himself. Can't wait for the next book.
