Hard boiled detective Antonia DiMarcus, and her team, join forces with FBI profiler Tom Ireland in a suspense filled crime drama to track down a serial killing kidnapper on the streets of Portland, Oregon. The Fire and Ice team-up harkens back to the days of the Sam Spade/Sherlock Holmes duet that never occured but certainly should have.
I had the opportunity to read this early and loved it. The novel is fast paced with lots of twists and turns. The main characters are engrossing and well developed for such a short novel. This reads like it should be (and I hope it will be) part of a series. It didn't leave any cliffhangers so to speak, it was a complete novel, but I'd like to hear from the characters again someday.
