Extra Nos is the fifth book in The a fast-paced, action-packed Christian suspense series. Fans of novels by Frank Peretti, like This Present Darkness, or fans of Alana Terry, Colleen Coble, Lynette Eason, or Creston Mapeswill fall in love with Landon Walker. An on-the-edge-of-your-seat redemption story.
There are a lot of biblical and Christian references, this IS a Christian read but it's one that not only really makes you think, it's an exciting fantasy thriller full of the supernatural. It resonates on a personal level, a personal belief but one that is so uplifting and fills me with love and hope and strengthens my faith. There are also glaring truths, one such "The obsession of being right is almost pathological in our culture" But it's not all about religion, it's a thriller in every sense of the word, it's about a handful of characters who have much to overcome and much to discover. About themselves, about the truth and about love.
In the aftermath of the possessions, the university is still in shock, still in disbelief. Landon, Zacharias, Father Sciplini, Sarah, Vanessa, all try to make sense of it, all they've been through and the why. I do really enjoy the way the author steeps the plot in realism, giving individuality, very tangibly, to the characters. Landon, still with no memory of who or what he is, Sarah, strong and unwavering in her faith, Vanessa, recently possessed by a demon is struggling to assimilate, Zacharias, an enigma I can't put my pulse on but I feel he's MORE, there's more to him. And Father Sciplini, a staunch Catholic who's entire stance is visionary. Together, they've formed the Truth Seekers, a ministry that embraces all, Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox faiths, with the sole purpose of love, unity and faith. Which is something demons and their masters need to stop, they are the forces that are heavily entrenched in all forms of "normal" life, except their agenda is anything but normal. Landon and Sarah are being targeted, one as "a perfect vessel" the other as "the chosen". I love the twist with Vanessa, my word, her prior "involvement" gives her insight into what is happening, who is behind it and what their purpose is. Excellent visuals!
But...the same forces that caused havoc are using appalling tactics to incriminate them all. This time focusing majorly on Zacharias, to incriminate him, frame him. These forces are trying to forge a wedge between them, these forces need Sarah, for what purpose no one can decipher, they see Landon as easy pickings, what with him having no knowledge of who he really is. The author really plays the good vs evil card in a uniquely crafted tale, full of suspense, drama and tension. It's a recount of an eons old battle where demons infiltrate every sphere of social, where the pillars of society fall to greed and power. The core of the tale is positivity, and how even a little faith goes a long way. I'm very ready for the next installment!
Three college students have mysteriously vanished, and the leader of a new religious group is the prime suspect. Landon and Sarah put their lives on hold to help uncover the truth behind the disappearance.
The college campus is abuzz with heated debates, as different groups argue over who is right and who is wrong. Some appear to be driven by financial motives, while others seek to promote their own agendas. Amidst the ideological clash, a concerning question lingers: could one of these groups be responsible for the mysterious disappearance of three students? The campus community is on edge, as they navigate the complex web of competing interests and search for answers.
The narrative is filled with suspense and mystery, keeping readers captivated until the very end. At the heart of the story lies the eternal struggle between light and darkness, and the importance of doing what is right, no matter the cost.

This gripping story had me hooked, racing to the end to reveal the truth behind their disappearance. I couldn't put it down, desperate to learn what happened. Landon, Sarah, Sciplini and Zacharias are back, and they aim on starting a new ministry on campus, one that would be called Truth Seekers, and would mainly deal with debate between the different religious factions, with the aim of uniting them. However evil felt threatened by this new ministry even before it started it's real work, and three students went missing and another was found dead with fingers pointing at Zacharias, the priest leading this ministry. As the noose tightens round his neck Landon, Sarah, Vanessa and Sciplini are doing their utmost to find the missing students, and whoever is behind the evil threatening them all. The lecturers Barrett and Chen who had been staunch unbelievers and followed science rather than religion, were amongst those now promoting the new ministry, as they had experienced firsthand things which not even science could explain. However the battle was full on as Landon discovered that the enemy was attacking from within, and that demons were once again pulling the strings which might very well choke the ministry before it even started doing it's work. This is another thrilling novel with strong religious overtones in which our protagonists go out on a limb to prove that faith and love can conquer all.
I received an advanced reader's copy (ARC) from the author and am voluntarily sharing my thoughts on the book. This story unfolds about three months after the gripping conclusion of "Lux in Tenebris." In this new chapter, Zacharias takes center stage as he initiates ambitious interfaith dialogues, aimed at fostering cooperation and understanding. However, these well-intentioned gatherings draw unexpected peril, igniting a fresh wave of attacks targeting both Zacharias and his diverse group.
The narrative skillfully weaves rich conversations and ideas that flow seamlessly between the speakers in the various meetings, showcasing their diverse perspectives. The camaraderie among the expanding team is palpable, each character contributing their unique strengths to the collective effort. At the same time, the story delves into the fractures among adversaries, revealing the complexities of their motivations and alliances. Anticipation builds as readers await the unfolding of the next exciting developments in this intricate tale.
Extra Nos threw me right into a spiritual thriller that felt so raw and real, it grabbed me by the heart and wouldn’t let go. Judah Lamb nailed that uneasy truth—sometimes the biggest threats come not from outside forces, but from within the very places we trust most. The story had me hooked from the first vanishings on campus, spiraling through suspicion, faith shaken, and a mystery that’s both supernatural and deeply personal. Landon Walker’s relentless search to expose darkness lurking beneath the surface had me on the edge of my seat, questioning what I believed and rooting for light to break through. If you love that classic Frank Peretti vibe mixed with fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat suspense and a powerful redemption arc, this one’s for you. It’s not just a thriller—it’s a call to watch closely where shadows hide, even in places of hope. Seriously, Extra Nos is a gripping reminder that faith isn’t about ignoring the darkness—it’s about standing firm through it. I couldn’t put it down.
Zacharias is asked to start a new ministry on the University campus after what happened in the recent past. The new ministry is called Truth Seekers and is for debating about faith, truth and love amongst all denominations. But the evil entities dont like this idea and are determined to put a stop to it by any means necessary. 3 students disappear and evidence pointing to Zacharias being responsible is found. But Landon, Sarah, Father Sciplini and newcomer to the group Vanessa are determined to find out the truth of who or what is behind it. Vanessa has "memory" flashes, but they are not her memories, they are Mephisto memories, the demon who possessed her before. But they lead the group to Frederick Sterling a very wealthy business man....but he is not what he seems. More battles between good and evil are going to happen.
If you want an excellent read that you cant put down, then this book is for you.
Extra Nos: A Christian Supernatural Thriller and Suspense Novel (The Unfallen Series (Landon Walker Thrillers) Book 5), my eighty-second read from author Theophilus Monroe, the fifth under his nom-de-plume Judah Lamb. Incredible and gripping from the first pages, the series takes a shocking turn, another well written & enjoyable read, 410-pages but reads longer due to the depth ot the writing. I was given a complementary Kindle copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, Holy Fire: A Christian Supernatural Thriller and Suspense Novel (The Unfallen Series (Landon Walker Thrillers) Book 6) , when it's released later this month, it's already on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. This latest writing will have you thinking hard about the teachings you would have learned from your church of choice. The examples and explanation of different approaches to Christianity left an impression on me. Especially after the tense moments of actual spiritual battles seen by Landon, Sarah and Venessa. The story is brilliantly written, with heart pounding moments as demons create their own false religion while scheming to destroy a priest’s life by plotting events against him. Only through strength in Christ, will they overcome. The ending really made me want to learn more
Landon and Sarah are settling in and trying to get their lives on track, with the bonus of Truth Seekers, a campus ministry they are standing up to create discussion and enhance outreach. But the demons haven't gone away and, if anything, are getting desperate. Planting evidence, spreading lies, and disrupting building bridges between people and faiths. Always great debate and discussion on important religious issues. Judah has a commanding knowledge of scripture and both Christian and Catholic faiths and meshes an interesting thriller with thought-provoking issues.
This book is catchy. Best read as part of a series. Made me look at my own life and ask important questions. Especially in regards to my relationship with other believers. The importance of unity in the body of christ as well as standing up for the truth in Love. Not pride. Not to be right.
Easy afternoon read.
Enjoyed plot and good worldbuilding and characters Especially after reading rest of series.

This book takes place about three months after the events of the previous book "Lux in Tenebris". Zacharias has started interfaith talks and meetings, which have instigated another attack on the group, especially on Zacharias.
I enjoyed the way the ideas and conversations flowed between speakers in the various meetings. I enjoyed the bond among the (expanding) team; I enjoyed the divisions among the enemy. I look forward to finding out what happens next!
"Estra Nos: Book 5 of Landon Walker Thrillers" is a fast-paced, gripping drama showcasing the timeless clash between good and evil. With fantastic characters and an outstanding storyline, it hooks you from the very first word to the final page.

Landon and Sarah are still being "hunted" by demons that want to corrupt them. Vanessa is struggling now that she is free from Mephisto. Father Sciplini and Zacharias begin Truth Seekers, a discussion about Christian values. And the demons have doubled down. This story is full of drama, action, and romance, ending with a cliffhanger. Very highly recommended.
I received a copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Now, this is a murder mystery with a difference. It's like the author channelled Frank Peretti while writing as Robert Ludlum or Dashiell Hammett. I found this as inspirational as it was thrilling. I definitely want the next book!
I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
A very good story. Landon and Sarah's time at the university meets many challenges from which they gain strength in their belief. Their trials and those of the others around them lead to an awakening of the fact that unity gives strength to the faith slowly grows within all them. The author's notes are very thought provoking.
There are hurdles and hindrances put in the pathway of Landon and Sarah. Zacharias is heading the Truth Seekers and is now under fire by an evil businessman. He's being accused of kidnapping and murder. Can he be proven innocent or end up in prison? Will Landon and Sarah be able to help him?.

The demons will not give up. Neither will Landon, Sarah, and their friends. Zacharias and Scapilini do a pretty good job getting these students to start to think for themselves and to share with each other. I enjoyed reading this book!
Extra Nos Book 5 of Landon Walker Thrillers by Theophilus Monroe (Judah Lamb) is another fast-paced, unputdownable suspense drama that I could not get enough of! I highly recommend this author and series!.

Another amazing story in an awesome detective series. While having a religious theme this is still a suspenseful well written whodunit. Definitely recommend it to any fans of the detective genre.
