A Fantastic Start

This is a fantastic start to the new Saints Outlaws MC Deadman’s Beach series. We got a glimpse of what this author has in store for us. We found how Blood became the Prez of the club and already there are plenty of betrayals and rights wronged. It is a sizzling age gap romance that is just beginning and is a great lead up to Blood and Honey. To say I’m waiting on pins and needles is an understatement. I am more than ready to see what Ms. Maynard has up her sleeve!

Blood and Ash is a not so little prequel to the first book in a new series coming soon Blood and Honey. I loved the introduction we got to the club dynamics and the MC members. It has everything I want when reading an MC story. The danger and betrayals kept coming. We also got the beginnings of an age gap romance and I'm here for all of it. I cannot wait until we get more from these characters.

What I loved: I liked how Blood(H) stepped up to take care of his brother and Ash(h). I have a feeling their relationship is going to be one hell of a bumpy ride and I’m here for it.

What I didn’t like: I don’t like that I have to wait to read the rest of their story!! I need it now 😂🤣

***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: Death of a parent. So much happens in this book. The H’s dad who was the president gets taken out by a plan that came from a person who the H least expected. Unfortunately, the H has to step up to the plate to get things under control while taking care of his baby brother and watching over a fwb’s sister. We have to wait until the next book to see how the sister and the H’s relationship develops.

Final thoughts: Wow!! What a great start to a new series!! Can’t wait to read the rest of Blood and Ash’s story! Great Job ❤️

This is a great story, I couldn't put it down. Glenna Maynard did a wonderful job on it, the story had a strong plot that's packed with so many emotions, there's little of everything, the plot was strong and written well. I'd suggest reading it. Blood and Ash, they were fierce, their journey was a rollercoaster. They made a strong pair, they were good for each other, the connection, their attraction was strong, the chemistry was sizzling, they were good together. I enjoyed this story, it was great.

It's a great introduction to the Club and to Blood and Honey's yummy, forbidden, age gap story. It's got plenty of betrayals, chaos and drama so you can only imagine what book 1 will bring if the prequel brings all of this. Nobody writes a fantastic age gap read quite like this author. We're in for one heckuva ride!
