This isn't just a "make-me-feel-good-about-myself" devotional book to guide young girls in their relationship with God. This book plants the concept of "who the actual being God is in the universe" and then how He being the God of All that He is relates to us in our being.

Profound truths and ideas presented in a gentle, understandable writing style will guide young ladies (or any reader) toward understanding the "I Am" of all - God.

I’ve just started reading this devotional because I work with adolescents and I’m always looking for resources for them to help them draw nearer to Christ.

This devo is such a delight. Alena crafts simple words to explain big theological concepts to her audience. She starts it out with such wisdom making sure to go through the gospel, the Trinity, sin, etc. I’m eager to see what else she touches on.

I love the one scripture to read in follow up with tiny, but mighty reflection questions. This is a great tool for young girls looking to know Who Jesus is and what that means for them.

Reading through this with intentionality is sure way to insure your heart is pierced in the best way by the Holy Spirit.
