This lovely, illustrated book is well written and perfect for teaching a child about different animals, exotic or local. Two things I would’ve preferred are the font could have been easier for a new reader to follow, and the fact that horses do not have “cloven” hooves. Regardless, both of these things are not enough to deny it a fifth star. This book will be donated to St. Joseph School in Chehalis, WA.
Note: Anita Fricks is the editor, Elysabeth Eldering is the author.
