From Instagram sensation Jessica Urlichs, an inspiringly vulnerable collection of poems exploring the sacred, tender, and beautifully chaotic moments of motherhood.
You are a mother but never, just

I got this book last year and finally picked this book up today. (Wish I had this when my oldest (just turned 10) was a baby to read through :)
This is a good book of 1 page poetry journal type entries by the author Jessica Ulrichs with thoughts and reflections on the beautiful chaos of these little years until they’re older. Good to read it every now and then and on some milestones.:) Felt nice to read (a few to get the feel of the book) and have it all written down in the book about so many big moments and feelings you go through as a parent. Love how it gives you perspective during this “Beautiful Chaos” of mostly the beginnings of motherhood with them growing older in mind in these in short writings.
The first page sums it up beautifully: Beautiful Chaos “Feeling seen and understood in motherhood is rare in our judgmental, advice laid in world. Jess is beautiful words weave their way past your exhaustion, doubt, and guilt — straight to soothe your soul reading this book feels like a much needed long exhale.” Zoe Blaskey, founder of Motherkind.
“The poems are so beautifully observed and shared. The words awaken the magic of life by celebrating the ordinary. They remind you of what once was while beautifully planting you in the now. I just want to go back to the start and read them all again. A beautiful companion to keep by my side “ Giovanna Fletcher
