Best for a student of the Eastern Front in Russia .

It out lines the battle in great detail. Even thou I have read many books on WW 2 this book a lot of in site into how the battle was fought .

Good introductory contribution in need of editing.

I enjoyed this introduction to Stalingrad. It was an easy, quick read, and great source to introduce my children to. However, as both others have already written, could have used major editing (poor grammar, awkward sentence structure, and use of maps) which would have improved the overall quality and rating.
