A mysterious Moon Born elder arrives to take Caroline away and, for the first time in their lives, she is separated from Leo and their friends as they head to new schools and an uncertain future. Despite all they have been through together, nothing has prepared them for the trials they are about to face as Gabriel amasses more power and seeks to release Warwick from his prison.
The second book in the Calamity’s Legacy trilogy, Moon Born picks up where Star Born left off as the Kensington Tribe is reeling from an attack by people they once considered trusted allies. They discover a much larger conflict has been brewing and they are ill prepared to protect the world from what is coming. Somehow, everything hinges on the youngest members of the tribes to save everyone from a dark future.
This was a fantastic sequel to the first volume. The character development and plot development continue to get more and more interesting, and this volume has a strong ending, as did the first volume—leaving you anxious to get to the next volume in the series.
