The Saga of Southwest Western

The Coffin Maker’s Son: A Western Frontier Story

Rate this book
Here comes another western adventure of relentless action, obstacles and a touch of western romance

Luke Brenner had plans to spend his days with Laura by his side, building a life built on love and dreams. But all it took was one cruel moment for those dreams to shatter.

Laura vanished without a trace.

The townsfolk say she ran off, troubled by ghosts of her past.
But Luke knows better.
When another young woman disappears and turns up barely clinging to life, Luke’s worst fears take shape. Laura didn’t leave on her own.

She was taken.

And the devil holding her captive is Reese Withers, a man whose cruelty has carved his name into the darkest corners of the frontier.
Armed with nothing but his gun and his grit, Luke sets off into the lawless wilds, ready to face a man who sees life as nothing but a fleeting shadow, easily snuffed out.

But as Luke closes in on Reese’s trail, whispers of a deeper, deadlier scheme begin to surface—one that reaches far beyond Reese alone.
Can Luke outwit a web of evil and save the woman he loves, or will this frontier claim one more innocent soul?

Struggling for freedom...

Characters that kept me reading to the end, along with the need to survive for freedom for our characters. Enjoyed my time reading.

A book I loved to read.

From the beginning of the book.. We went a different direction with in the two book covers. The plot is very strong willed and full of leaning on each other to accomplish the life threatening goal. I was very happy for both of them, for ending up together with the open wordless pages of their life together. And, they knew what ever happened it would be together. Thumbs up.

C0ffinmakers son

Seems like nobody except the 2 main characters could shoot straight the bad guy killer's shot and missed apart from a couple of grazes that they received yet the bad guys were supposed to be ruthless killer's but apart from that it was a good read

As a die hard western’s fan I enjoyed reading this book. Comfortable main characters and terribly mean spirited villain’s. Each villain meaner than the next.

Descriptive and detailed environments made you feel like you were right there, hearing the bullets whiz by your ear.

Typical western plot with an unexpected twist.

Liked reading this story. It was a good read with lots of suspense but was a little predictable. Will definitely read more by this author.

Thought he would kill every man in sight...

It's nice to see a good book where the bad guy gets taken to the cleaners. Funny, he's the coffin makers son but no-one gets buried.

Not bad...

Overly detailed but story good. A little too dragged out
A lot of contradictions in this fable.
Best to keep your ideas and facts together.
