Temporary Nanny by Carrie Weaver
Royce McIntyre had truly failed as a father. He made the excitement of being an expat and his next adventure more important than his family. While he was in Russia an explosion changed everything. He realized what he lost by not being there for his son Michael, who is making a name for himself in NASCAR and is now the one who don’t have time for him. Help from his loneliness came in a surprising package. A ten year old boy and his beautiful mother.

Katy Garner is doing her best for her son. His father wants nothing to do with him and her usual babysitter isn’t working out. Surprisingly the handsome downstairs neighbor has offered to be Jake’s nanny for her. Too bad she swore off relationships because Royce is really handsome and has become a great friend. Can she trust him to be there for Jake even when things get tough?

Royce was introduced in the Harlequin NASCAR series book, A Chance Worth Taking. It’s the story of his ex-wife Tess and his son Michael. Royce sees himself in Jake’s father and has to face the hard reality of how badly he messed up, but he’s willing to go the extra mile to win his son back. The next connected book is Baby, I’m Yours and is about Royce’s sister Becca.

There's this song, I believe it's called 'Cats in the Cradle'. I *DESPISE* that song. Well, this book? Is the romance version of that song.

Needless to say? I *HATED* this book.
Wouldn't even finish it.
