I am loving this series so far!! Another great story by this author. I love how strong she makes Rue and the dynamic she has with Overdrive. The way he follows her lead and doesn’t just try to take over is amazing!!

I've been a fan of Cathleen and Frank's book ever since I read my first one, Hush. We all waited for this one with both patience and anticipation. Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait.

Overdrive and Rue's story is filled with action, steamy, personal growth, and a deeper introduction to each member of the Saint's Outlaws MC, Pheonix Chapter.
You will fall in love with each of them faster than Rue can love with any animals she finds.

Awesome book and it was a turn page, and the suspense was so intense and stimulating. I was on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't even put it down. Overdrive and Rue chemistry was so intense and captivating and they couldn't even fight the temptation any longer as this was forbidden romance. And his desire of her was outer this world of romance and passion and the danger of being together but one night will change everything between them.
I highly recommend this book, and you won't be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones

I truly love Cathleen & Frank’s characters! They always feel so real and unique to each story. Overdrive and Rue have a great on-page chemistry that I loved.

The way Rue knows she can trust OD, after just meeting him, says everything about the kind of guy he is. OD’s “Who hurt you” protective side, is just yummy. But the way he helps Rue fight for her family, makes him the man we all love.

If you haven’t read any of Cathleen & Frank’s stories, I highly recommend them. I love them all interconnecting.

I’m in love

I’m in love and not ashamed to say with a club full of men. Rue is perfect for OD. I read at night after everyone is sleeping and I had to stop myself from laughing out loud. I mean the “coin” toss was so unexpected and funny. There were more parts that had me laughing. Loved the family aspect of the club. I had trouble putting this book down to sleep last night. Its 3:00 now because I was determined to finish it and glad I did. I’m going to say that Relay is my favorite.

I always enjoy coming back to visit my MC boys. This one was a lot of fun, especially as we are just getting to know all the members. It made for a lot of laughs and funny antics in this one. I really enjoyed OD when we saw him in other books, so I’m glad we finally got him his old lady! Rue was such a badass character and I feel like she is going to be so important to the other old ladies of the group going forward. Also super glad Camilla can have some company now. This did great setting up for the rest of the series.

Overdrive and Rue

Another fantastic read from Cathleen and Frank. These authors books are automatic reads for me and this one was worth the wait. I found myself laughing at the antics of the members of the Saints Outlaws MC Phoenix Chapter and can't wait to read all their stories 🥰

🌶🌶

Cathleen and Franks books always have the found family vibes in their series and this one didnt disappoint. As its only book 2 you are still getting to know them all but I cannot wait too. The banter is already there.

Rue and ODs relationship was great. They communicated and made eachother better.

Very much enjoy the focus being on the club, their actions and the humourous banter of men who push each other hard but accept each other regardless
Overall a great book. Looking forward to Bolo's book.

Intense

This book was interesting. I couldn't put it down with all the drama. Rue is really strong and independent. She is afraid to ask for help and wants to do things on her own, but once she meets Overdrive it's all over. He wants her as soon as he sees her but doesn't make a move until she comes to him for help finding her brother and his best friend. The ups and downs of finding him in a cult/gang situation has Overdrive and his MC brothers help Rue. In all this you watch Overdrive and Rue fall in love.

Cathleen and Frank’s characters are truly captivating!
I enjoyed seeing Rue and OD. I enjoyed the "coin toss". Loved Rue and her strength and how she still leaned on OD. Can't wait for the next one.

OD and Rue

What a ride! Overdrive is on Mercy duty when she falls and needs an ambulance which is where he meets Rue the paramedic. He's instantly obsessed. It gets better when she needs his help and that's it. There is no separating the two. Great story.

I love MC Tropes and Cathleen and Frank are masters at writing the best ones. Overdrive and Rue are the perfect pair. Rue is trying to find her brother but doesn't realize that she is in over her head. Overdrive is a born protector, and he is there for Rue no questions asked. I love the chemistry between these two. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

This book….. I don’t even know where to start. When I saw I got accepted for an arc, I actually screamed and woke my fiance up to tell him. Cathleen & Frank writes one of my book obsessions! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read through their MC Romance series (there’s 4 and a novella), as well as their Mafia series. 😍

This book was as good as I knew it would be. We love our baddie FMC’s and that’s exactly what Overdrive finds! As an orphan with abandonment issues she doesn’t trust easily but luckily for her these club brothers adopt you and never let you go, so she gets a new family to help her find on her hunt for her missing brother.

If you haven’t read these books you need to! Start with Heart of Steel then work your way through and tell me all of your thoughts! I finished this book in 3 hrs and now all I can think about is how I wish I could visit Cathleen and Franks brains so I can see how the next ones play out. I am already counting down the days until the next books are out! 😂

Overdrive’s Folly releases January 3rd and trust me when I tell you to mark your calendars!

Thank you @Cathleen Cole Author for the gifted copy - all opinions are mine and I can’t wait to get my hands on the physical copy!

This is book 2 in the Saint's Outlaws MC: Phoenix Chapter. OD is the VP for the club and is in charge of keeping his guys in line while their president Ruck is away. When his best friend Kilo's old lady hurts herself while he's out of town he calls an ambulance and meets Rue. She's the feisty paramedic that calms OD down and helps Mercy stay calm while she is taken to the hospital for a broken wrist.

Rue is the sole provider for herself and her 16 year old brother, who has ran away and she's desperate to find him and bring him home. After a night of investigating, she gets smacked around which results in some bruises and a black eye. When the man who attacked her tracks her down at he work, she once again fights him off, and this time calls OD for help. Once he and his club realize what's going on they vow to help Rue find her brother and take down the ring that is taking kids and teenagers.

That was really good!! OD might have met Rue on accident because of her job but as a paramedic, but can he change his way of thinking about a possible future with her? She ran into a few issues cause of her bro and his friend. But the MC won't let shit stand the way it was going in town. But what they find out can really wreck everything. The Saints outlaws r not 2 b messed with. Its fun 2 c how they can fight against each other but when shit hits the fan they come 2gether 2 kick major ass. Lol

Overdrive’s Folly starts where Kilo’s book ends immediately and flows perfectly going from one book to the next! The way Cathleen and Frank create the MC worlds of theirs never ceases to amaze me! Absolutely devoured this book watching another big scary biker fall head over bike for his old lady! These bikers take care of their own and make it known. Its one of the reasons i absolutely love these series! Highly recommend reading!!

Overdrive’s Folly is everything I hoped for and more. Cathleen Cole and Frank Jensen once again prove why they are absolute must-read authors for me. This second book in the Saint’s Outlaws MC: Phoenix Chapter is intense, emotional, action-packed, and completely addictive.

Rue is an incredible FMC — fierce, resilient, and used to carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. As someone who’s had to grow up too fast and take care of her brother alone, her strength and desperation feel raw and real. Watching her navigate fear, guilt, and determination made her story hit even harder.

Overdrive is the perfect balance to Rue. Protective, steady, and deeply loyal, he doesn’t hesitate when it comes to stepping in and helping her — even when it means pulling her into his dangerous world. Their connection builds naturally, with tension, trust, and emotion woven beautifully throughout the story.

The found family aspect is once again a huge highlight. The Phoenix Chapter brothers show up fully, proving that once you’re under their protection, you’re never alone again. The action and suspense kept me glued to the pages, and the emotional moments landed just as hard.

This book has it all: a grumpy, protective MMC, a strong and feisty FMC, danger, angst, heart, and a romance that feels earned and powerful. Overdrive’s Folly is a phenomenal continuation of the series, and I am already counting down the days until the next book.

Highly recommend to any MC romance lover — this series just keeps getting better.

I absolutely love MC books and this series. There's nothing better than a big, bad, and scary biker who falls fast and hard. They're all very protective, but also so funny. Overdrive and Rue are perfect for each other. I can't wait to more of this series!

I really enjoyed this story.
I really liked how Rue was a strong character on her own. She raised her brother on her own and did her best. When she needed help she reached out to Overdrive and their chemistry was great! Excited for the next one!

Pretty good until the authors dumped me into some ridiculous disney fantasy land by "rescueing" some cattle meant for slaughter, 😒🙄.
