"How to Pass the Twilight" is a collection of 7 short erotic romances, with various levels of romance and erotica, involving beautiful human women falling in love with beautiful women monsters.
Multiple Banshees... Sierra Smut"When the Banshees Screams" follows the story of Wrendall, a woman who seeks after monsters to find her pleasure. The cryptic mating habits of these varying monsters intrigue her and draw her into hunting through the woods for her next otherworldly orgasm. However, for the first time, Wrendall thinks about what parts of her life might lead her to be a monster "hunter", and when she finds one Banshee, she finds many. Has she gotten herself in over her head or will she be heady with pleasure?
Medusa... Dani Ryan
Adoni is an independent soul in a time and place where society's expectation is that she be subservient. When she’s caught trying to run away to find a place where her intelligence and knowledge can be fully appreciated, she is thrown into an ancient cave system with an ancient monster. Will Adoni succumb to the telltale Medusa stalking within these caves or will her intelligence help her escape? Perhaps Adoni will find herself in the clutches of a Medusa much different than the tales told to her from her nursemaid. Or maybe she’ll find her place and instead of turning her to stone, Medusa will turn her into a messy, needy heap that never wants to leave.
A Sea Witch... Trixie Adara
When a mermaid wants legs, the sea witch decides what else she needs to make those legs walk. And when she shows the mermaid exactly what all those body parts are for, they are bound together for much longer than any prince would live.
A Vampire... Winter Clark
Bloodsingers were thought to be an old wives' tale, not something that Irene believed after all her years as a vampire. But when she saves a beautiful human woman, her blood sings to her, and the only thing Irene wants more than to drink out of her is to be with her forever.
A Tentacle Monster... K.W. Quil l Cordelia, priestess of The Deep, convenes with their patron deity in an attempt to save the floating city of Aquaria. Lonphii — the tentacled deep-sea elemental — is willing to save her people, in return for the priestess's companionship.
A Siren... Imogen Rivers
When Melinda almost drowns, it's a siren that saves her, not her disappointing now-ex. But as they get to know each other, the siren's broken language and Melinda's fear of the water may break them apart. Will one night spent together be enough to last forever?
An Alien Sky... Latte Storm
She blows in with the coastal storm. And I don’t know what or who she is, but when she’s near me, something happens to the sky.
It’s cold on the beach and another painting is ruined by the sudden downpour. (I have a love hate relationship with the rain, and storms in general). They’re beautiful in artwork but they don’t stay there. Real ones are bigger, more dangerous. And so much prettier. So is she. With her glassy skin and iridescent eyes, she’s like, the very essence of art itself. I don’t know who or what brought her here. She says the sky is broken, that she’s the only one who can fix it. I don’t question it. Because when I look at her, I see every shade I’ve ever dreamed of, every color I never thought existed. Love at first sight isn’t supposed to be real. But no one warned me what happens when the sky itself becomes a girl.

This anthology was SUCH a pleasure to read through. By far my favorite story is "Eight reasons to betray your father." Freaking brilliantly sexy dialogue and the morally gray aspects of the dominant character are really steamy.
All the stories have a great amount of spice! Overall probably at least four out of five peppers. This is a perfect valentines gift. Really fun to sit through these story by story for a short pick me up. Easily digestible and sexy sapphic fun.
I was given an ARC copy of this book and was completely blown away! Dani Ryan's "Woven by the Fates" was my favorite (though maybe not by far, there were some great stories!). Her Medusa was dark and different, with depth and originality. I will will be coming back to these often and can't wait for the paperback.
How to Pass the Twilight is an amazing collection of steamy monster shorts. All the stories are written beautifully and take you into a world you will not want to leave. I will have to check out other stories by each of the authors featured in this anthology.
As always be mindful of trigger warnings, what I like you may not.

This was a very sweet and touching Sapphic anthology. Every story was great, and took around 10-15 minutes to read. I loved the gentle love that each of the couples found together, and the spice was beautifully written.
I really enjoyed reading this book, it had that monster erotic element that I was looking for and enjoyed getting into this world. It was a strong collection and was invested in what was happening with each concept. Sierra Smut has a strong writing style and am excited for more.
