I can stop. I feel so empty. What am i even supposed to do now that the series is over?
Many thoughts about this book. Firstly, it could probably be read as a stand alone. Even if it still is in the “Fourever You” universe, it has barely to almost no connection whatsoever, other than of course Tiger and Nao, later on of course it brings up all the other couples, but explains them in enough detail it wouldn’t be necessary to read the books before.
Second, it definitely was different than what people may expect. Most people don’t like that whole “childish” behavior from characters, but Jay has that aspect HEAVILY. I get some people may think it’s cringe, but it really is part of the plot.
Third, things progressed really slow. There were a total of 43 chapters (not including special chapters), and the actual relationship didn’t kick off until around chapter 30 ish.
But overall, i loved it so much. Seeing not only JayDan, but also all the other couples. Seeing how they progressed throughout the books from high school, to college, to now where they are all getting married and finding love (except P’Field…sorry P’Field), and even having kids of their own. It’s a nice feeling, seeing their lives finally complete.
I’ll be honest. Through the quote part of these reviews, there are some parts still in Indonesian that i quite frankly didn’t care to translate to english before quoting them. So, do with that as you will.
And, i did not hold back whatsoever…
“".." He was silent for a moment before asking, "Do you want me to come with you?"
"Ya."
"Okay."
"Okay? What does that mean?"
"I'll come with you."”
(Poor phi Jay, seriously. Doesn’t know anything other than what he’s told to do.)
“"Sorry if this sounds rude, how old are you? I'm twenty-six."
Dia terdiam lagi, sedikit mengernyit seolah sedang berpikir. Apa dia perlu berpikir untuk mengingat umurnya?
"Delapan belas."
...Oh." I was stunned. Eighteen... eight years younger than me. I didn't know what surprised me more: an eighteen-year-old being tortured for information without screaming in pain, and he was so skilled with a weapon, or that he didn't care about his life or fear death?”

“"Tiger, please," | grabbed his arm tightly. In the ten years I've known him, l've never seen him this scared. "Tiger, please don't do anything to him."
I cried again, unable to hold back my tears. That made Tiger stop. "He really didn't do anything to you?"
"That's right. If he did something to me, why should I defend him?
Trust me."
"Alright," Tiger lowered his gun. "Get him." Instantly, everyone lunged at Jayden, holding him down and tying him up tightly.
"He's injured. Why tie him up? It'll open up again," I protested. "He almost died, Tiger."
"He won't die from those wounds," he replied, putting away his weapon. "Take him to the ship."
I looked at Jayden with concern. His eyes showed no fear at all, even though many guns were pointed at him.
"Do you know Jayden?"
"We've tried to kill each other before. I don't know if that counts as a meeting."”
(Of course Jay has tried to kill Tiger. Who hasn’t tired to kill Tiger by now?)
“"Then why?"
"I think it's because...
"Karena apa?"
"He was not ordered to flee or fight. Because his mission was to distract the enemy on board. He was not given orders on what to do i he was captured."
'.." I was speechless. "Does he need an order for that... for something so simple?"
"That's how he was raised. And he probably thinks his life has no value or purpose."
"Oh, right," | said, remembering. "He said he would keep me safe until you got here. I asked if he would come with me, and he asked if I wanted him to come. I said yes. That counts as an order, doesn't it? Like I ordered him to come with me."
"Maybe you've become his new boss."”
(It’s no doubt that Jay is already attached to Dan.)
“"Nao, you too," Leon added.
"That's Dan," Tiger corrected.”
(Never ending saga of getting the twins mixed up)
“"If I want something, does that mean I like it?"
"Something like that," I replied. "You have to know what you like and what you don't. To find out, you have to try a lot of things. It doesn't just affect your daily life, but also your career or what you will do in the future. You are under my protection now, you know that?"
"Ya."”
(P’Jay wants P’Nao….so does that mean P’Jay likes P’Nao? Hm? แค่ออกไอเดีย.)
“"Bai Plue, how is Jay?"
[Everything is fine, normal, no problems.] I breathed a sigh of relief.
[But he still didn't smile and didn't change his tone.]
"Yes, it might take some time."
[And, this kid called me 'khun']
"Khun?"
Yes, I asked him to call me Phi Bai Plue, but he said we're not that close and to call me Phi he has to respect me. He said he doesn't respect me, Dan.]”
(Common P’Jay behavior. Straightforward with how he feels, no matter status. Honestly, i seriously find it hard to not address older people with Phi. It’s like a habit when it comes to Thai actors or even characters, even if i’m typing in English it just feels disrespectful ร้องไห้)
“I woke up early as usual. I woke Nao up for breakfast, but when I opened the door, I saw Tiger sitting leaning against the wall. Seeing Nao come out, Tiger stood up and hugged her while crying, apologizing. Nao was surprised and asked, "You were here all night?"
"Yes, because you are here."
"Why not knock?"
"Because you're angry."
"Yeah, I'm really mad," Nao said softly. After that, Tiger started to cry.
Tiger's serious side could look scary, but the real Tiger was different: spoiled, wanting to be close all the time, and easily upset. He cried easily, but only in front of Nao, as usual. Nao had to be patient in comforting him. It took a long time before Tiger stopped crying.
"I understand what you're saying. You did it because you cared, but you also hurt Dan."
"Me too...”
"Apologize to Dan."”
(Situation number 143 of Phi Tiger being absolutely whipped for Phi Nao, even in other people’s books..)
“"Jay, what's wrong?" Dan asked. "Aren't you going to let go?"
Jayden shook his head.
The watch allowed her to be with Dan. If she took it off, she couldn't be with him.
"Why?"
"Why did Dan take it off?" she decided to ask. She knew that Dan was supposed to wear the watch to press a button if she did something wrong, knocking him unconscious to protect Dan and allow them to stay together.
. "Aren't we going to be together?"
And a little surprised, then smiled sweetly. "Let's talk for a moment," he said, leading Jayden to a more private place. "This watch is for my safety when I'm with you, right?"
"lya."
"But I won't be with you often because you have to train here. This place is far from where you live, so I thought moving here would be more convenient. I have to work, I can't always be here, but I'll come see you when I can."”
(The watch honestly was a good safety measure to make sure P’Nao was safe around P’Jay, but i don’t think P’Jay fully understood the reason why he got the watch in the first place…sigh)
“Before going to bed, she looked at the roses on the balcony, wondering what Dan was doing.
Suddenly, Dan's words rang in his mind:
"What would happen if I suddenly disappeared?"
He had replied that it didn't matter at the time. Now, he felt it was a problem.”
(He has attachment issues he just doesn’t know it…)
“"Then take a rest before going to bed." I sat on the couch, this was my first time in his room. I looked around without realizing that Jay had sat on the floor, resting his head on my lap. I was surprised.
"Jay. What's wrong? You can tell me."
"And, don't disappear. I want you here."
I smiled and patted his head. "I understand. Sorry."
Jay kept his head on my lap. The room was silent. I could tell he was feeling bad, and it was affecting me. I blamed myself for being too busy with work and not having time for Jay.”
(P’Jay เป็นคนน่ารักจริงๆ ฆาตกรหรือไม่ นี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่เขาได้เรียนรู้ที่จะมีชีวิตอยู่)
“"You don't want to talk?" He nodded.
"You want to tell me?"
"What do you want to know?"
"It's all about you."
"Everything?"
"Ya."
Jay fell silent.
"I won't force you. Just tell me what you want to tell me." I lifted his head and sat on the floor, looking at him. "To be fair, you want to know about me?"
He nodded.
"What do you want to know?"
"Everything."”
(I’m not sure if it’s just a Phi-Nong relationship at this point)
“I stroked his head again. "I love you, Jay. People who hurt you and say they love you are not sincere. People who love you hug you, take care of you, and want you to be happy every day."
Jay didn't answer, he just let me hold him in silence. I felt his soft scent and the warmth of his body. This child has suffered a lot, and I will take care of him.
"I can hear your heartbeat."
I smiled. "Yeah, I heard your heartbeat too. Because we're close."
"Ya."
We hugged for a while before breaking away. Jay said it was time for him to take a break.
"And, you should rest."”
(P’Jay definitely has a habit of checking heart beats. I feel like it definitely will have something to do with his mother later on, but he always is checking for P’Naos heartbeat)
“When I woke up, Jay was still there, holding my wrist. I asked in a sleepy voice.
"What are you doing?"
"Checking your pulse."”
(Just for further evidence 5555)
“"Jay, ada apa?"
[| don't know.] Jay replied. [In my mind... there's only Dan.]
"Benarkah?"
Il don't know, but all I can think about is Dan, Dan, Dan, and your face is everywhere.]
I laughed, amused. "You want to see me that much?"
[Yes.]
"Banyak?"
[| don't know.]
"I'll come now, do you want me to?"
[Yes,] he answered immediately, then paused for a moment. [No, you're not okay.]
"Hahaha, that's funny," | smiled broadly. "That means you miss me."
"Oh... mungkin."”
(Awwwww he misses him)
“[Money.] Jay repeated the word. [And work so hard until you get sick just to get money?]
"Yes."

(House husband Dan who?? I can easily see P’Jay wanting to treat P’Dan the best he can in the future.)
“"Nao has been making you cakes since freshman year, remember?"
"Yes, your egg skin cake," said Tiger. "I ate it all, even though it was rough. late it with pride."”
(The college cooking class…featuring the cake disaster. Who let them in the kitchen in the first place? sigh.)
“"Yes," | looked at the photo again, curious. "Is there something wrong with this photo?"
"No, but... And."
"Apa?"
"I really like this photo. We are together."
I couldn't help but smile widely. "I like it too. Do you like taking pictures together?"
Jay nodded quickly, making me laugh.”
(I really don’t know who’s whipped more. Even though it’s technically still a Phi-Nong relationship and nothing more, they still are whipped for each other, no?)
“"I didn't dream, but I did wake up," Jay said. "When I saw Dan breathing, I went back to sleep."
"You went straight back to sleep?"
"Yes."
'." I was silent, thinking. "When you wake up in the middle of the night, what do you think about?"
"The important thing is that Dan is still alive."”
(This poor kid, so young but his gone through sm shit)
“Dan: Can I call you?
TonFah: Yes.
I told Jay that I was going out to talk on the phone and went to the balcony. I called Dr. TonFah and after greeting each other, I started:
"It seems like he really likes the camera I bought him. Thanks to TyPhoon for the recommendation."

(Of course it was Phi Phoons idea to get him a camera…)
“"Jay, thank you for telling me. It must not have been easy," I said quietly, finding it hard to breathe properly.
"I thought it would be difficult, but with you it's not that difficult."
I smiled. "Jay, I'm sorry, but can I hug you?"
"Okay." Jay sat on the bed, opening his arms. I came closer and hugged him. The room was quiet, only the sound of the air conditioner could be heard. I felt his heartbeat and his warmth, hoping he felt mine too. I stroked his head gently.
We leaned against the headboard, hugging each other. I began to recognize Jay's scent and realized that I liked it.”
(Yeah okay where’s my hug after that shit? Im also sobbing now. But om, if ally some progression.)
“"I give you permission. Kiss my forehead."
"Uh, Jay," | was at a loss for how to react. Jay pushed his hair back, waiting for me to kiss his forehead earnestly. I thought it was cute, but... No, he'd probably feel bad if I didn't. "Okay." I leaned in and kissed his forehead.
As I pulled away, Jay looked confused.
"What happened?"
"And, can you do it again?"
"Huh?" Now I'm confused. "Why?"
Feels comfortable."”
(P’Jay is so innocent it’s so cute..)
“Jay looked at Fai. "I'm not afraid."
"Oh, you're not afraid? You want to look at my husband?"
"I didn't mean it that way."
"Tiger, stop," Nao shouted. I sighed. Tiger and his excessive jealousy again. We never eat in peace when we have guests. I put down my cutlery to stop them, but Jay spoke first.
"If it bothers you that l'm staring at Nao, it bothers me that you're staring at Dan."”
(Okay P’Jay, you don’t really have a right to be jealous over P’Dan…but i’ll let it slide for now)
“He's like... jealous?
Or maybe protective, like a child jealous of their parents? But I just see... I don't know. All I know is...
I'm nervous...
My heart was pounding, my chest felt hot, and I felt awkward. I used a fork to eat the soup. I looked at Nao, who gave me a mischievous look. I shook my head, and Nao changed her expression to one of confusion, quietly asking, "What's wrong?"
I shook my head again and continued eating.”
(Yes Phi Dan, he is extremely jealous. Well, sort of. He doesn’t really understand the word jealous, but if he did, yes, thats what he would think.)
“"I'm atraid so.'
"Wow, Dan Nuea, 26 years old and just falling in love for the first time.
Wow."
“"Ugh," Nao slapped her knee in annoyance. "I'll think of a plan next time." She crossed her arms, leaning back in the swing, looking tirec
"Should we ask North, the expert? He's helped a lot of couples."”
(P’North mentioned !! Our favorite cupid.)
“"And are you going to see anyone else?" I decided to ask.
Jay shook his head. [l won't look at anyone else. I told you that I only need you.]
"Really? Then fine."
Jay's face on camera was beaming, smiling.
[You promise?]
"Yes, I won't break my promise. Neither will you."”
(I’m blushing stop)
“"Jay's been through a lot. The world hasn't been kind to him," | sat down. "I want to be something good for him, because he's been something good for me."
"Is this just pity?"
I shook my head. "Pity does not make the heart beat faster."”
(So P’Dan…what you’re saying is…you’re in love?)
“[I want a photo frame and sunflowers.]
"Sure, we're going shopping. That frame for your mom's photo?"
[Yes, and sunflowers for when I miss you.]
"Okay," I smiled broadly.
I don't know if this counts as teasing, but Jayden has a good point..

“North: [It looks like the group will be complete tomorrow.]”
(Getting the band back together !! Oh it’s so nice to see them all together again.)
“I took the book I bought at the airport and read it in bed. Jay hugged me.
"Dan...'
"Did I wake you?"
Without a response, I understood that he was sleeping.
I stroked her hair and kissed her softly. She let me kiss her. Then I stroked her cheek.
"I really like you. I hope the cards are right."”
(P’Jay, you weren’t supposed to hear that 555…but the cards said they were soulmates…sooooo)
“"Kita harus membayar empat ratus," kata Phi Hill. "Ada yang bawa
uang tunai?"
"Aku sudah lama tidak membawa uang tunai," jawab Phi Fah.
We looked at each other. No one had any cash, including me.
"Joe, it's time to sacrifice your watch," said Arthit.
"Damn you," Phi Joe replied. "They don't accept transfers?"
(The never ending saga of Phi Johan and the watch. Once sold a million plus baht watch just for a stupid plushie duck. Oh, all for love.)
“"We should have brought money," Nao said. It was unbelievable that five millionaires didn't have four hundred baht in cash.
Lesson: always carry cash, even if a transfer seems more convenient.
"Hill, you said not everyone accepts cards or transfers. Why don't you bring cash?" Phi Joe asked.
"It was my fault. I just transferred recently. Do you have any, Arthit?"
"No, not in the wallet or in the bank. My husband arranges everything."
DaoTok muttered, "You spend too much. Uncle Direk asked me to.”

“Jay came over to me and bent down. I smiled and patted his head.

"This kid seems willing to do anything just to get a pat on the head from Dan Nuea," Ryan said with a smile.”

"..." Jay quickly turned around, surprised. His eyebrows raised, and his lips returned to normal before his face started to turn red. "I'm not mad anymore."

(It was just really cute the fact P’Dan called P’Jay baby.)
“Tiger thought deeply. I thanked him for caring about Jay. "It's amazing how we used to point guns at each other back in the day, and now we're under the same roof and sharing a dinner table.””

“"Ah, damn it." Nao sighed. "Tell me, how did you keep this 'Rusty' gang together all this time? I graduated eight years ago."”

“Soon after, I got a notification tha Jay had posted a new photo. I looked at it, a little confused, before looking at the photo.
It was a photo of me, taken suddenly, with the caption: 'mine.'
I covered my face partially. "Don't post before asking. Besides, I already said it was just a promotional photo, right?"
"Ya."
"How is this considered a promotion?"
"I'm promoting you. You're cute and you're mine."
I lowered my head, embarrassed. "Am I yours?"
"Yes, you said so."”

“Jay touched his lips, making my face redder.
"Dan."
"Ada apa?"
"I like it very much."
I smiled widely at him. "I really like it too."

I hesitated for a moment before answering. "Tell me you love me first."

Jay bent down and kissed me again.”

“"Happy New Year!"
"New Year!" I said excitedly to Jay. He kissed me, then pulled away.
The light from the fireworks lit up his face, making him look even more handsome. My heart fluttered, looking at him in awe.
"Happy New Year. Let's celebrate together every year," I smiled.
We kissed again under the light of the fireworks.
No matter the year, as long as we are together, that is enough.”

(Common P’Jay behavior. Straightforward with how he feels, no matter status. Honestly, i seriously find it hard to not address older people with Phi. It’s like a habit when it comes to Thai actors or even characters, even if i’m typing in English it just feels disrespectful ร้องไห้)
“I woke up early as usual. I woke Nao up for breakfast, but when I opened the door, I saw Tiger sitting leaning against the wall. Seeing Nao come out, Tiger stood up and hugged her while crying, apologizing. Nao was surprised and asked, "You were here all night?"
"Yes, because you are here."
"Why not knock?"
"Because you're angry."
"Yeah, I'm really mad," Nao said softly. After that, Tiger started to cry.
Tiger's serious side could look scary, but the real Tiger was different: spoiled, wanting to be close all the time, and easily upset. He cried easily, but only in front of Nao, as usual. Nao had to be patient in comforting him. It took a long time before Tiger stopped crying.
"I understand what you're saying. You did it because you cared, but you also hurt Dan."
"Me too...”
"Apologize to Dan."”

“"Jay, what's wrong?" Dan asked. "Aren't you going to let go?"
Jayden shook his head.
The watch allowed her to be with Dan. If she took it off, she couldn't be with him.

"Why did Dan take it off?" she decided to ask. She knew that Dan was supposed to wear the watch to press a button if she did something wrong, knocking him unconscious to protect Dan and allow them to stay together.

And a little surprised, then smiled sweetly. "Let's talk for a moment," he said, leading Jayden to a more private place. "This watch is for my safety when I'm with you, right?"

"But I won't be with you often because you have to train here. This place is far from where you live, so I thought moving here would be more convenient. I have to work, I can't always be here, but I'll come see you when I can."”
(The watch honestly was a good safety measure to make sure P’Nao was safe around P’Jay, but i don’t think P’Jay fully understood the reason why he got the watch in the first place…sigh)
“Before going to bed, she looked at the roses on the balcony, wondering what Dan was doing.

Jay kept his head on my lap. The room was silent. I could tell he was feeling bad, and it was affecting me. I blamed myself for being too busy with work and not having time for Jay.”

Jay didn't answer, he just let me hold him in silence. I felt his soft scent and the warmth of his body. This child has suffered a lot, and I will take care of him.

I lowered my head, embarrassed. "Am I yours?"

"New Year!" I said excitedly to Jay. He kissed me, then pulled away.
The light from the fireworks lit up his face, making him look even more handsome. My heart fluttered, looking at him in awe.
"Happy New Year. Let's celebrate together every year," I smiled.
We kissed again under the light of the fireworks.
No matter the year, as long as we are together, that is enough.”

“One day, I received a call from North asking me to come back to Thailand if I wanted to see my new nephew. I bought a gift and quickly made arrangements to go. Johan's house was full of people wanting to see their twins.
They are a pair of twins, a boy and a girl.”
(No because what do you mean Phi north already has children. Oh, how he’s grown.)
“"I want to be someone you can rely on."”
(That’s what Johan said to North om i’m sobbing.)
“"This is my son." The little boy had soft white skin. This was a very happy moment. "Look at his hands, so small. And his feet too."
Jay took one of her tiny hands. "Yeah, really tiny."”

book 1: 4 🌟 finally got my hands on a good translation and i’m so happy to be back in this world. i just finished the hike chapter (end of book 1) and seeing everyone brings back so many memories 🥹 they are all so cute with their own families! if this goes the way it’s going now, i’m pretty sure this will be my second (or third) favorite of the entire series. nothing will beat arthit x daotok but this is coming pretty close to tiger x nao.
book 2: 4 🌟 honestly the age gap is like a teensy bit weird but this was so cute and fluffy. i loved seeing everyone else happy with their babies. this is probably tied with johan x north in third place (maybe fourth?). i wanted it to be a bit more angsty but it’s honestly fine as it is.
