Three demons. One devout soul. In a battle of sin and salvation, will she fall to temptation—or become their ultimate undoing?

Evelyn has dedicated her life to the light, her every breath a prayer, her every step a testament to her faith. But when whispers of her destiny reach the depths of Hell, Lucifer himself sends his most cunning servants on a mission to destroy her purity.

Aziz thrives on forbidden pleasures and twisted desires, his every touch a fire that consumes. Levi hides his deadly vanity behind a beauty that no mortal can resist, a face designed to lure and ensnare. And Ian revels in destruction, his seductive whispers promising freedom in corruption.

Bound together by their infernal task, the three demons weave a web of temptation, each driven by their own ambitions as much as Lucifer's command. But Evelyn’s soul is no ordinary prize—it’s a battleground, where light clashes against shadow and innocence trembles on the brink of ruin.

As the lines between torment and seduction blur, the demons discover that Evelyn may not be so easily shattered. And Evelyn finds herself drawn into a darkness she never imagined, torn between her faith and the intoxicating allure of sin.

In this game of temptation and treachery, who will emerge victorious—the devout nun destined to be Hell’s undoing, or the three Princes of Hell determined to claim her soul?

Unholy Fate is a DARK Reverse Harem Romance, full of triggers. Please tread carefully and read the triggers at the beginning of the book before diving in this deliciously wicked story.

This is book one of The Corruption of Evelyn Adams series and the main characters are Sister Evelyn Adams, a nun who has dedicated her life to God, and Aziz, Levi and Ian, three demons sent by Lucifer himself to make her fall to temptation, to save himself from a prophecy about her. The three demons no longer remember their true selves, having long had it tortured out of them. Now they go by demonic names, Levi aka Beelzebub, Aziz aka Asmodeus, and Ian aka Astaroth. Lucifer has called them in for a special mission, where their powers of temptation, seduction and corruption will be absolute necessities! They are to strip her of her light and blacken her soul completely. If they fail, they know what Lucifer will do to them, but succeed and he will give them glory beyond whatever they could image. They make their way to Boston where the sister is based and one of them approaches her as she walks along the street with a new sister, Serena. Levi’s unexpected appearance has caused unusual and unwanted feelings of arousal in Evelyn, which brings her shame and which she tries to ignore. Each of the demons tries their hardest to corrupt her, playing a game between them, to see who will win and gain Lucifer’s praise. However, Lucifer hasn’t told them that this nun would be his downfall, as he was told by a trusted seer.

He keeps each of the demons in their place by his sick punishments, degrading them and using sexual acts to debase them, against their will, but knowing they wouldn’t dare to refuse to do as he asks. They have spent thousands of years as his Princes of Hell, torturing and playing with the souls of those who end up in Hell, getting their jollies tormenting the guilty. They have visited the human world many times, even opening up social media sites to gain more followers. There is lots of sexual action, forbidden pleasures sent to tempt her and three men that pop up in her life suddenly, one of them constantly in her dreams before appearing in front of her. The men all want to be the one to darken her soul and tempt her to give up her belief in God and her promise of purity. After a homeless man attacks her at a shelter, one of the demons take his revenge against him and when Evelyn hears that the man killed himself, she thinks it is her fault as she had wished him harm within her heart. Now she has doubts about walking in the light she is used to and begins to doubt herself. She had trained as a lawyer before she felt her calling and uses her knowledge to help the needy. Each demon has their own plan to break Evelyn, Aziz with his touch, even invisibly, Ian through her dreams and pretending to be a therapist, and Levi with his looks and dominant seduction. When she tries to confess to the priest at the convent, Father Hudson, he prays for her and touches a crucifix to her forehead, but it burns into her skin, whilst also giving her immense pleasure. She believes she is possessed and wants the priest to pray for her soul, which she thinks has been defiled and taken over by demons, in body and spirit.

Each of those who has caused Evelyn pain, have been dealt with by the demons, who can’t understand why they feel they need to protect her so! Evelyn had events in her past that she has pushed deeply into her subconscious, not even remembering them, making herself live a life of strict rules and not letting herself experience any sort of pleasure, enjoyment, or even fun that those of her age would normally experience. When Evelyn allows herself to be tempted and enjoyed by the demons, she is told it is a test from God by Father Hudson. She is beginning to doubt that, but her memories of her past and her uncle’s actions are brought out into the light and fill her with wrath, a dark sin more suited to Hell than Heaven. Each of the demons wants her for themselves and this soon starts arguments between them and their actual aim, as given to them by Lucifer! They are also getting memories of their own pasts coming back to them and that could be very dangerous to Lucifer, as they begin to realise just exactly who they were. They come back together in a truce, agreeing to take Evelyn to see Hell for herself and Levi brings her uncle to get what he deserves to her, allowing her to strike the final blow. Whether they have led her to freedom from her chains of the past or damnation for her future is not yet clear. Doing so, allows her to get memories of er long ago past and her true identity, which may well be why Lucifer was warned that she could be his downfall! Lucifer isn’t happy that his three top generals have become besotted with Evelyn and refused to return to Hell as he demanded, so now he must bend his own strict rules and get them and Evelyn back, no matter what they all can remember! He will punish each of them for ignoring him and make sure they remember how to serve and obey him.

Loads of distressing events and memories raised in the story, as well as steamy and explicit scenes between them all, so be aware of triggers. I received an ARC copy of this book and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Unholy Fate is pure chaos in book form, and I mean that lovingly. Georgia Wells & Cora Masters really said “let’s give them emotional damage and sexual tension” and delivered both with enthusiasm.

Multiple POVs really gave me some insight into the characters thoughts and feelings, while keeping the plot line unhinged and me disregarding the idea of sleep to keep turning pages. The spice? *chefs kiss*

If you like your paranormal romance dark (Think soul sucking black DARK) messy, and a little morally questionable… congratulations, this book will own you like it did me xx

I’m going to keep this shirt but sinfully sweet. This book was dark. A forbidden kind of dark. The kind that finds that corner in your mind that you keep hidden, and it drags you out to play. This book is chaos, and intensity like no other. At points I questioned my morality. I devoured this book and was so disappointed that I didn’t have the second one in hand. I’m running to go get it lol.
Demons and nun? Yes please! Sexual tension. Yes please! Hot in the best ways possible? Yes, yes it is. A true masterpiece that will leave you questioning everything but still wanting more. I applaud the authors. Wickedly yummy.

This was a gripping page turner, with hell, demons, darkness and so much spice!

Not for the faint of heart, this is a dark read and touches on religion and desires as well as exploring what happens in the depths of hell!

This book will have you questioning your own morality and depravity!

Unholy Fate by Cora Masters and Georgia Wells is a pitch black demonic reverse harem romance. This is the first book in The Corruption of Evelyn Adams series.

I love when Cora and Georgia combine forces to write a book. I can't help but devour them and this one was no different. I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I loved getting James, Lucifer, Aziz, Evelyn, Levi, and Ian's points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for Unholy Bond to be released July 30, 2025.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a paranormal romance, reverse harem romance, or a pitch-black romance.

Okay, so I really wanted to like this one. I kept thinking, “It’s going to get better… right?” Spoiler: it didn’t—for me. 😬

The plot felt all over the place, the character development just wasn’t there, and the spice? Let’s just say EXTREME dubcon was right. I generally don’t shy away from darker themes, but this one left me more unsettled than entertained.

Honestly, this book just wasn’t for me. But if you’ve read it and felt differently, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Maybe I missed something?

Wow. I’ve read a lot of books with demon main characters, but I’ve gotta say that these guys may be the best ones I’ve read yet. They’re definitely morally black with no remorse or regret. It was awesome. Definitely check the trigger warnings, though, because this book is gloriously full of them.

Evelyn is an intriguing character, and I very much look forward to her stepping into her power. I love some good feminine rage, and she’s got it in spades. I can’t wait to see how she handles the demons and the new development at the end.

The demons are also very interesting, and I’m hoping we get to see them recover more of who they really are. I’m also eager to see how Lucifer fits in to this story as it develops.

There are a few continuity errors and odd timelines, but it wasn’t anything too bad, in my opinion. I can’t wait to read the next book!

I received an advanced copy, and this is my honest review.

Evelyn?? Sweet, devout, innocent Evelyn who has spent her whole life wrapped in light and faith and purity?? She’s the kind of heroine who makes you want to kneel beside her—not in prayer, but in absolute awe. And then… Hell notices her. And decides they want to break her. And that’s when the book said, “Time to lose your sanity.”

Enter the three demons who ruined my moral compass:

🔥 Aziz – pure forbidden hunger wrapped in temptation. Every touch from him felt like a fire you WANT to burn in.
😈 Levi – vanity and beauty weaponized, the kind of demon who could make a saint sin with just a smile.
💀 Ian – destruction incarnate, whispering corruption with the softness of a lover and the danger of a storm.

These three??? Sent to claim her purity???
I was SWEATING. FROTHING. CROSSING MYSELF AND THEN READING FASTER.

The tension is unholy. The seduction is lethal. The spiritual tug-of-war?? ICONIC. This isn’t just spicy—it’s a full moral meltdown wrapped in velvet and smoke.

But the best part? Evelyn doesn’t break.
She bends, she trembles, she questions EVERYTHING she’s ever believed—but she fights just as fiercely as the demons try to claim her. Watching her evolve from a sheltered beam of light into a woman standing toe-to-toe with Hell’s finest?? I was cheering like a deranged disciple.

The demons start out wanting to destroy her… and end up being undone by her. And I? Was simply feral in the corner, witnessing the greatest religious experience of my life.

This book is dark, twisted, sensual, emotional, and utterly shameless in the BEST way.
Heaven vs. Hell?
Purity vs. temptation?
One woman vs. three princes of wickedness?
SIGN. ME. UP. AGAIN.

POV:
You’re just a nun, dedicated to Him & serving your community … when all of a sudden something strange seems to be happening to you. Not just one but 3 men insert themselves into your life and you’re left … changed … corrupted? Powerful? (You be the judge…)

Written in alternating, first-person POV. (Including Lucifer!)

𐕣♱𐕣♱𐕣♱

Truly, a pitch-black read, and I am here for it—it starts out in hell, very intriguing and gets pretty dark right off the bat, but it’s gripping and fascinating. It’s very slow-burn, showing some slice-of-life (Bostonian nun style), and the evolution of Eve and these demons.

I enjoyed the biblical/mythology tie-in, the overall setting, the little twists, and the big twist. I also enjoyed the character development, as wow, that was expert-level.

𐕣♱𐕣♱𐕣♱

✝ Partially set in Hell.
𐕣 Mostly set in Boston.
✝ Nun FMC.
𐕣 Virgin heroine.
✝ Possessive heroes.
𐕣 Demons.
✝ SA.
𐕣 Dubcon.
✝ Advanced character development.
𐕣 Vengeance.
✝ Mythology.
𐕣 Pitch-black romance.
✝ No choosing.
𐕣 Self-discovery.
✝ Paedo-punishment.
𐕣 Chains.
✝ Edging.

There’s more but I was too busy devouring this to make a complete list—really fun read if you like your books pitch-black.

Overall:
Unputdownable, intriguing, just … fascinating. A fun ride. 4 stars.

Petty transgressions such as sneaking candy as a child skipping school as a teen.... If these are the things that land us in hell then we are all doomed.. 4 chapters in and I'm not sure this book is for me

Demons with barbed and forked d*cks to be used as punishment in hell..

His c*ck is the size of his forearm 😮😅

Ahhh.. penance for defying Lucifer is sucking his c*ck!!!!

Slight mix of past tense and present tense made me reread a few sentences. Spelling/grammer errors, and the lack of indentations.

Too many POVs I had to flip back to the beginning of chapter with multiple times to figure out whose point of view I was reading from. -⭐?

I have so many questions... I'm almost 50% through the book and we still don't know why Evelyn will be Lucifer's undoing other than the seer said so.. also why are the demons falling in love with Evelyn? There was no connection, no conversation, just randomly She's mine out of nowhere like where did that connection come from? It's lacking feels, almost like it was written by AI (I'm not saying that it is) -⭐?

Very very repetitive

A demon with 2 d*cks! One for each hole 😮.

Left me with more questions than the answers. I don't think I would recommend to a friend.

Holy Hell what did I just read! I can't even get my head wrapped around it. I started reading this book and did not know if I was going to like it because it came with so many triggers but I was like damn this book is amazing I mean freaking amazing!

Evelyn is a nun and she loves the Lord and her church. She is so excited to be living her life for the Lord and helping people out. But something seems off to her and she is not sure what it is. Then she meets three men and her life changes instantly. These three men are not what they seem and they have other intentions in mind.

As the story goes on Evelyn and the three men start to do things that are against Evelyn's beliefs. As she starts to do things that are not Godly she starts to question her beliefs and she starts to wonder where God is and why he is not helping her out.

This is one hell of a series and I can't wait to read book two. The ending of book one had me on the side of the bed reading and yelling for Evelyn to run and get out of there. She is in trouble and the only ones who can help her are unaware what's going on.

OMG!!! The corruption of a nun by deliciously sexy demons – yes please!!!

This story was phenomenal. It was pitch-black, gory, violent, twisted and sinfully delicious. I was instantly intrigued by the storyline and once I started getting into it, there was no way I was putting the book down until I found out what exactly was going to happen to Evelyn.

These dark, dangerous, twisted and violent demons James, Aziz, and Levi, have been tasked by Lucifer to corrupt Evelyn any way they can. And OMG do they ever find some creative and kinky ways to destroy every innocent part of her!

The banter was perfect, the violence was bloody, and the smut was definitely UNHOLY!!!

I absolutely loved this story, and I can’t wait to see what happens next after the shocking turn of events in the last few chapters of the book. And that cliffhanger – HOLY SHIT – now what???

Y'all, I don't even know where to start, but if you like darker than midnight reverse harem romances, you absolutely need to read this, like, yesterday! The first two chapters really set the tone for what's to come, and Aziz, Levi, and Ian? As unforgettable as Evelyn is. Masters and Wells have done a truly amazing job with the descriptions, you're completely immersed in the story from the outset. I love that this isn't a story of hope and redemption, it's darkness and corruption at it's finest. Although the three demons each have their own approach, I loved getting to watch each of them try to corrupt Evelyn, and seeing things through their eyes as well as hers and Lucifer's added depth to the story. I don't want to give any spoilers, but be aware, this is an extremely dark romance, and as always, your mental health is more important!

Please forgive me for I have sinned...If you need a pitch-black romance, look no further. Heavy on the what am I reading but also I can't stop. You know it is going to be good before you even get into the book when the authors welcome you with: "We hear that dark romance is therapeutic to some people. Welcome to therapy, b!tches."

This book was indeed "unholy" so please check all the triggers.

What are you about to read in a nutshell?
Lucifer wants Evelyn for reasons unknown.
Evelyn is a nun.
Lucifer sends his three Lieutenant Demons: Ian (Astaroth), Aziz (Asmodeus), and Levi (Beezebub) to seduce her to hell.

This is a RH with multiple POV and ends with a cliffhanger. Now I must know what happens in this duet!

The his book is perfect for lovers of why choose, paranormal, demons/human, demons/nun, and religious/Greek mythology lore.

For me, it was a bit heavier on the smut than the plot than I wanted, but overall still enjoyable. It does end on a cliffhanger, so I do believe there will be another book. In a nutshell, Lucifer sends 3 of his best/most loyal demons to corrupt our FMC, who is a nun. Along the way, these demons start catching some feelings and their loyalty to Lucifer starts wavering.

Overall, an interesting read. I do just wish there was a bit more substance to the plot. 🖤

I really enjoyed this book. I was interested in the way the demons were making Evelyn question everything she knew. It was kind of hard to get into because she was a nun, but you know it was fine.
I wasn't so sure about how they were manipulating her into having sex dreams about her priest because I wasn't super on board with what was happening (Only because I couldn't tell if he was going to be a love interest or not). I want to see what happens next because what is Lucifers deal exactly? Oh and then she is suddenly Lilith? Like what? So, is Lucifer going to be the villain in this? Are we overtaking Hell? Like I am confused... Interested and locked in but confused.

I spent new years day with this book. I literally could not put it down. My hubby even asked me if I was mad at him because I spent my day curled up with a blanket and not talking to him.

Check your triggers and maybe if you have a kind of queasy tummy don't be eating a donut with your morning coffee when you reach chapter 5.

I loved the characters Aziz, Levi , Ian and Evelyn and read enraptured in the story.

This book is hot as hell 🔥(pun intended 😜) and I love the dedication as well.

The quote that tickled my funny bone...

Corrupted Innocence
A great read from a new to me author. Nice big book why choose one.
A known big bad is running scared not liking the way his future was told to him. So he plots and sends his best to mess with fate a bit.
The sweet girl practically glows with purity but... Now the three that's been tasked to invade her life? Each male is dark, decadent and dangerous. She is definitely in their web.
Is innocence incorruptible ? does the dark just lurk at the edges?
Planning and engaging. Invasion of dreams. Emotions flip flopping. Will they all give in? Is it worth the risk!

The dark lord himself, Lucifer, has a plan for Evelyn. He wants his best demons (Aziz, Levi and Ian) to destroy her soul, blacken it so nothing good remains. Unholy Fate is their story, a very PITCH BLACK story which is chock full of deep, dark triggers that may keep you up at night!! Otherwise, read on for the most deliciously sordid RH romance...

Another dark twisted masterpiece of a book.
Definitely check the trigger warnings because oh boy is it riddled with triggers.
It definitely made me uncomfortable with some of the religious aspects. But that's one of the reasons why I love this author's writing is because it brings me out of my comfort zone.

I struggled to get into the first chapter however from there I could not put the book down. The twists and turns were unexpected and I enjoyed them.

The writing is very descriptive throughout the book. I feel like the ending of the book is quite abrupt, a cliffhanger for sure but a very abrupt one.

Definitely check the triggers before reading. Would definitely recommend this book and I will be reading the second.

This was quite the gripping read and definitely a dark romance. Please check the TWs before diving in. Otherwise, expect to be glued to your reader as you follow Evelyn and the plans Lucifer has for her. He sets his best demons, Ian, Levi and Aziz, to the task of blackening Evelyn's soul to the point that there's no good left in it. Hmm... This is a twisted RH romance that doesn't spare the heat and I had a hard time putting it down ;P

I've been a Cora Masters fan, so when Pelican introduced me to this collaboration, I knew I had to read it!

I love the tropes, especially Why Choose!

Which would you choose?
Light or dark?

Ready...so ready for the conclusion!
