I have read several of Summer James books and I am a big fan of hers. Auctioned to Dr. Daddy is one of my favorites she has written - I just love a good doctor story. This plot is original, fun, interesting and it was successful in keeping my attention. One of the things I love about this book is that it doesn't read the way I would expect. It was refreshing that key parts were not repetitive like other books. I appreciate when an author does this because the stories sometimes become boring when they all do the same thing. I felt a connection with Nathan and Demi from the beginning and these two were easy to like. I am looking forward to seeing what Summer has planned for the next book she publishes.
Nathan is just recently divorced and attends one the charity auctions his parents hold every year. They do this to raise money for improvements and to update equipment for the hospitals they buy. Demi is a resident in the cardiac ward at St. Peters Hospital who is transferring to Mercy General Hospital so she can shadow none other than Nathan Stone. He is unaware that Demi is the resident who will begin to shadow him in a couple of days. There is mutual chemistry that is present between them. Naturally they do not fight what is happening for very long and soon find themselves sharing a passionate evening. Will Nathan and Demi be able to turn off this chemistry between them once she begins shadowing him? Or will it be a green light kind of thing?

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Out of the four books of Summer's that I've read so far, I think this one is her best yet. The book's blurb lets you know what to expect. It's a great dual pov surprise pregnancy romance.
When Nathan buys a date with Demi at the charity auction, they spend the night getting to know each other & having fun. Although they know that Demi is going to be working alongside him now, they think they can have one night & then be professional at work. While they are professional at work, it's difficult for them to ignore the growing feelings between them. The more time they spend together makes both reconsider their initial stance - especially after learning that Demi is pregnant.
What I liked about Demi & Nathan is that from the start they were both honest with what they wanted from each other. Their feelings were almost instant but they actually did get to spend time getting to know each other. Even when their feelings began to develop into something more, they didn't shy away from them nor try & stay away from the other. While there was some conflict, it wasn't between them & it was very low stress. I liked the way that they handled things. Also, aside from the romance, I enjoyed seeing Demi getting Nathan's daughter to open up. Overall, I can't say there was anything to dislike about the story & I think others will enjoy it.

Nathan had been divorced a few months but the break up with his ex wife was a long time coming, he only kept coming back to Emma for his young daughter Abigail. But he finally saw how unhealthy it was. Now he found himself at another fund raiser night hosted by his parents, only this time it was an auction for dates. If he had known that maybe he wouldn't have shown. But he didn't and that is how he found himself staring and bidding on the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, she was about 20 years younger than him but so pretty, sexy and adorable. Demi was smart too a Cardiac Dr (in training).
On the date Demi advises that she is Nates new intern, the chemistry is too strong and thier relationship grows...
This is great read. Another one of the Mercy hospital clan gets a HEA (although this book can be read as a standalone) Nathan and Demi have amazing chemistry, Thier pick up lines and flirting is terrible, they are both out of practice and it is hilarious. I read it in one sitting, it was captivating, fun and steamy and of course had a sugar sweet HEA that I loved.

This book is filled with fun, flirty, and adorable couples that you will fall hard for while they work out how to get their HEA.
Dr. Nathan Stone is always supporting his parents endeavors and always shows up to their events and he is not thrilled but is present for their auction to help raise funds. What he never expected was the auction was for winning a date with whomever you bid on. The moment he laid eyes on Demi Winters he knew he would give anything to win her for the night and for a date out on the town. She took his breathe away and he hasn't had feelings like this since his ex-wife. Demi is beautiful, smart, and knows the hardship on working towards being a doctor and all that entails.
They hit it off immediately and there is instant chemistry between them and they can't fight their desires anymore. The problem is they work together and Nathan's ex is still trying to re-claim what she has lost. This is a wild ride but this couple is adorable and will make your heart melt. The challenges they face they face them together and it is quite adorable. Happy Reading!!

Wow Summer just keeps getting better and better. Nathan is a very well-off heart doctor whose parents own many hospitals, and they are doing a charity auction at one where dates are auctioned off for one dinner date and as fate would have it Demi the younger doctor who is absolutely breathtaking to Nathan is auctioned off. And no way he was going to lose that opportunity. He was very taken with her and as she moved to his hospital for some of her internship it became apparent to both a no contact rule was impossible. There was plenty of contact enough so to make a baby. Demi is struggling with being a mother and telling Nathan about the baby. Once he found out all the worry as expected of a man in love with her went by the wayside. It’s a great couple day read. Highly recommend this one the guy has class and a good heart and keep putting it out there for Demi to see that he isn’t going anywhere unless she is going there too.

praise girlies this is for you!!
I know that this isn't going to make working together easy. Staying hands-off-that would have been the best way to deal with all of this. But Demi is too much for me to ignore. Too pretty, too funny, too much of everything that I've always wanted in my life.
this is the first book i’ve read by Summer James and it was such a fun read. as someone who was raised up country it reminded me of my childhood. I haven’t read many Dr. Romances but i really liked this one and the child was actually adorable and not insufferable imo. Loved the side characters as well. except for Emma obviously.
if you like age gaps, single dads, doctor romance, boss romance,surprise baby, and a HEA!! and most importantly praise!! this is a fun entertaining spicy read to add to your tbr!!!.

WOW this book is a page turner that I finished in a few hours. I couldn't stop reading it until the very end. I love how Nathan and Demi met at a charity auction. They start to have mind blowing sex and can't stay away from each other. They both are cardiac doctors, but Demi is a resident under Nathan. Nathan is married and divorced with a child Tabitha. His ex-wife Emma has been causing trouble and wants Nathan back. Demi and Nathan vow to not start a relationship since her job could be affected, however that didn't work. I love how the characters all come together perfectly and that Emma has a huge surprise to tell Nathan. The ending is fantastic, and this book is a must read.

If you like age-gap romances, you'll love Demi and Nathan's story. They meet when he purchases a date with her at his parents' hospital charity event. It's instantly smitten and the chemistry between them is explosive. He just off a bad divorce and is raising his five-year-old daughter. On top of that, he's a distinguished cardiac surgeon and ends up being her mentor. Their romance was sweet and steamy. Not only was he an incredible doctor, but a really nice person and a great father. What happens when she finds out she's expecting? What about his shy daughter, Tabby. This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I have to say that I was impressed. The storyline flowed well, and the characters were believable in their roles as well as being the strong characters that they are. I absolutely enjoyed reading the story about Dr Nathan Scott and Dr Demi Winters. These to meet at a charity auction, where Nathan makes a bid on Demi and wins a date for a night, that night turns into many more and a surprise in their form of a baby. This is a really sweet story and has a happy ending for all involved.

This is an age gap, off limits romance between Demi and her new boss Nathan. These likeable characters and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. What starts out as a one night stand turns into something more. Their sizzling chemistry and strong connection are undeniable as they navigate the bumpy road to their forever after. It is a sweet love story with enough drama, steam, sweetness, frustrating moments, family dynamic, twists and turns, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. Entertaining.

They weren't looking for love, but an auction date took care of that. Nathan took one look at Demi and was drawn to her and when he saw her up on the auction block, he made sure that he would get her. It starts them along their adventure. Throw in his adorable daughter and an ex that won't let go and you have a story that keeps you glued to the pages from start to finish to see how it will end between Nathan and Demi.

I have read several books by Summer James and just like the other books I enjoyed this book. The story of Demi and Nathan holds your attention from start to finish. There is drama, feelings, dealing with the fact that Nathan is now a divorced father with a sweet little daughter. But there are also secrets and lots and lots of hot and steamy moments between Demi and Nathan. I can't wait for the other books in this series.

Nathan and Demi meet when she is auctioned to him as a date for a charity ball. There are sparks between them immediately and they end up sharing an intimate night together. A few days later, Demi is introduced to Nathan as the resident who is going to be shadowing him in cardiology at the hospital. They agree to keep things professional between them, but we all know that's not going to stay that way. They are professional at work, but in private, things are spicy! Soon, Demi finds herself pregnant. Will that change everything or will they be able to balance work and play?

He ends up bidding when he sees the most beautiful women he has ever seen and wants to meet her. When he meets Demi, they realise that she is to be his new intern but the chemistry between them is too hard to ignore. Can they get a HEA in the end.

Another great read from Summer James. You will recognize some of the names of people from some of her other books but you can still enjoy this book without having read any of the others.
This is a sweet love story that will give you a warm and fuzzy feeling. You will find the page flying by as you get pulled into the story. A very enjoyable read!

First time reading this author and this story was really good full of some heavy and light feelings. It had good character and plot. It made me happy to read how 2 people can meet that single person who is their person and change their life completely. Nate and Demi just worked from start to finish. I look forward to more of this authors books.

I could not put this book down!! I finished it within a couple of hours!! The first thing I will say about this book is I loved the characters! Their chemistry was amazing! Even with the surprise pregnancy and ex from hell they made it through stronger and together. And it had just the right amount of sweetness and sexiness to it!!

A love that starts off with a dating auction ends in a wonderful Suprise for Nathan and Demi. These two are so good together and their bond is stronger than anyone trying to get in the way. I loved how Demi took to Nathan's daughter with kindness and love. This was a great story.

This is another tale of a "Mercy Hospital Dr." This story delves into the life of Nate. It sucks you in with witty reparte and well developed characters. You are very satisfied at the end of the story. A really good read.

He was hooked the moment he saw her. I did think it was funny with the connection that they shared that they thought it was a one night thing. I loved how much he respected her as a doctor that was nice to see. This was a definite page turner with wonderful characters.

Good Story
I like the story, but some of the parts were really unrealistic. The fact that when Demi got pregnant, neither one of them could figure it out. Seriously they were both doctors. Why did it take Nate so long and even at that he didn’t figure it out. That was highly unbelievable. Other than that. I enjoyed the story in the book.
