Venduta agli Alfa: Un Romanzo Omegaverse con Harem Inverso (Regine Omega Accoppiate Vol. 1)

Rate this book

E Finn, assolutamente fuori controllo.

Contenuti adatti a lettori adulti!

The plot of this book has SO much potential! I was so hyped to start reading. It started super strong. Bad ass female lead gets taken by three mysterious alphas… such a strong beginning! And then it went downhill. There were so many points in the book that made me go “wtf”.. and not in a good way.
1. FMC gets slapped while the MMC (wolf with super hearing) is just outside and he somehow doesn’t know what happened and acts confused by the mark on her face.
2. The main antagonist shows up but manages to run away from THREE wolves because they get “distracted” by conversation…twice…. And somehow they don’t know where he went and don’t immediately follow him. I guess their supervisor smell was on pause during those parts of the book.
3. But the part that really got me was the FMC making ridiculous decisions that put herself in danger the entire book… it was super annoying considering she is supposed to be this strong female character. I don’t like the “strong independent female lead” having no common sense… Maybe my opinion is skewed after reading the Throne of Glass series. But in my opinion the main female character shouldn’t be prone to excessive idiocy.
The smut was well written though. I think this author maybe needs a better editor. So much potential!!

This wasn't terrible but I just could not get into it. It starts off with a cool pretense, an omega who challenges her alpha to save her sister and is expected to serve a fate worse than death - being taken by 3 wild alphas.... But that's not what we get. The actual book is a bit flat, with some good smut and a cast of male leads that are basic and forgettable.

PLOT:

Elisabed is an omega who is brought before the council to face certain death after she attacks her alpha when he says he is going to make her little sister. For her crime she's facing certain death at the hands of the alpha council but in a twist of fate three wild and dangerous members of the council take and mate her and they travel north.

THOUGHTS:

- I was so excited when I started reading. It sounds like Elisabed is actually in danger of dying or that the alphas are literally unhinged and pose a threat to her. NOPE.

- Literally they sound scary at first but within 2 seconds they're devoted and sweet and basically completely nonthreatening. There's this plot thing where the they are hiding something from her and traveling but it all comes across as so stale and boring with patches of spice here and there.

- the guys are forgettable and by the time you stop reading their individual personalities and povs blend together into one homogeneous blob and they just seem like the exact same character with different hair colors.

- Elisabed is kind of boring herself. The whole thing with her wolf is solved pretty quickly, her rut is satisfying, she's never really in any danger and the main conflict is her being TSTL and thinking the alphas don't like or care for her and are using her (which they are to an extent) but her conflict in this book is just so weak. We barely see any bonding or reason why she's so close to her sister or willing to endanger her life.

- I appreciated the consent at the beginning and some of the smut was pretty good but not enough to keep me interested.

I'm very sad that I have to give this a one star writing.

I feel as though it had so much potential, but unfortunately, I just didn't invest in the characters or their relationship with one another. Like the bond between the 3 alpha's was really volatile. They weren't as 'brotherhood' as most alpha packs that you read about in an omegaverse book. Usually, the men will already have a very strong foundation and then they introduce an omega together. This group just felt like there was constant tension between the 3 of them, and then all of a sudden this young omega was thrown into the mix as her 'punishment' because she assaulted another alpha (self defense).

But before you know it, she's pregnant and they're all of a sudden in love and cannot live without each other, although u feel there is no build up in there relationships. The connection just wasn't there for me and even the pending 'fall out of the packs' that the book was setting us up for throughout, started and ended in like 2 chapters and nothing really come of it.

Also not that is should impact the boom rating but I also just really disliked the FMC name - Elisabed - just made me cringe (sorry to anyone with this name 🙈)

Facing certain death, Elizabed is shocked when 3 of her 6 Judges decide to take her away with them. August, Marshall and Finn she a little warrior in her. If treated correctly she would be quite the asset. But her old master, who was promised the death, now wants the new and improved Elizabed back at all costs. Will it be a fight to the death? and will all survive? A good read.

3 alphas

This book had an interesting plot, and i liked the heroine, except her name.. it was awful.
The world building was pretty much nonexistent. I have no idea the time period or if there's more magic out in the world. Once she's talking about pulling off a shirt, then another time she's talking about loosening the ties on her bodice and removing other layers of clothes.
The end turned into a solo feeling between August and her.

I really really wanted to like this. I tried SO hard. The ideas and potential for a FANTASTIC series are in this book, but it’s so not executed well. There’s very little actual character development, the conflict feels rushed and not fully fleshed out, and there a decent amount of moments where you can tell it wasn’t fully edited for continuity or flow. Such a disappointment.

DNF’d. The plot had a lot of potential but there was just far too many things crammed into a very short book and it felt all over the place.

Elisabed, August, Marshall & Finn

Libro veramente deludente.
