This was a fast paced, easy read with a posessive, OTT alpha male and an innocent, inexperienced female. Lauren was just trying to get to a meeting to secure a catering contract, but the storm had other ideas. Fortunately, West was on his was home and got her to the lodge abd warm (how he did that is for you to discover🔥). The tension between them went from sarcastic and snippy to swoony in the blink of an eye as she realized not only was he part of the lodge group, but he was actually a nice guy when not in "order" mode. It was fun getting to read the inner monologs for each character as they struggled with their next steps. How would each proceed given the attraction simmering at the surface?

West and Lauren meet as she's stuck during a horrible rain storm, and she's driving up for a meeting involving her and her mother's catering company.

For West, it's love a first sight as he rescues a drenched Lauren. She manages to get to safety thanks to his help. Lauren also decides to explore the powerful feelings she's experiencing for West.

These two do not play games! They soon are together exploring each other and all of the possibilities.

I was pulled into this book from the beginning. Lauren is meets West along the road when her van becomes stuck in the road in the down pouring rain. West rescues her and brings her up the mountain to where she was to interview for a job. The electricity between these two was jumping off the pages. Loved their banter and the HEA. I loved the thought of a retreat for veterans to heal and recover and how the men who were pulling it all together were thinking of everything.

Lauren is on the way to a meeting with the Trippe R Company when the weather takes a turn and she needs a rescue. West saw a person in trouble and reacted but was blown away by the woman and knew she was the one for him. Short sweet and full or heart and heat as they find their HEA.

A quick adorable first book in a new Pineville series. West and Lauren’s meet-cute is nothing to sneeze at. Both instantly feel the sparks fly as West saves her from danger. From there we have humor, spice, doubts, honesty and heart as they find their way to a HEA. Looking forward to the next.

This new series Mountain Men of Pineville is gonna be a hit if this book is any indication.

Lauren takes a trip up the mountain to secure a catering contract with the Triple R Lodge. She meets a rather large amount of rain and gets stuck. She doens't reallize she's in such danger until the handsome West pulls her out of her car in case it floats away and carries her up to the Lodge.

West can be gruff and grumpy but he's taken away by Lauren from the moment he sits her soaked self in his warm truck. I love the way he takes charge and does everything to get her sage and dry...even if it requires some body contact.

You just feel the electric charge between these two. Its like they can't stay away from each other, and they can't wait to see each other again. As any good girl knows, Lauren comes back the next day with samples, even if the owner gives her the contract, knowing her mom and her cooking.

I enjoyed the way these two opened up to each other, differences aside, and feel the pull for more. Thankfully West gets over his age gap hangup pretty quick, and lets say its not just the thunder outside causing things to light up in his cabin. Its hot, fast, sweet, sincere, and instant.

These vets are trying to put a place thats safe for fellow brethren to come rest, heal and regroup. Ridge, West, and Lars have been working hard to get the place up and running. Securing catering is just another thing to check off the list. West had no idea it would change the course of his very life.

We hit the heart strings, the steamy, sexy, military buttons on this book and it all comes out with palpitating scenes and HEA!! So worth getting into this new series. Can't wait.

Oh my this ebook is outstanding. I absolutely loved it. This author is truly an amazing author. She can add this fantastic ebook to her long list of winners. Lauren is doing through a rainstorm to bringing some samples to the soon to be opened Lodge for Veterans. She ends up having a mishap with the van. The water is rushing down when she hears someone yelling st her. Time stops for Lauren she's so mesmerized by West a gorgeous mountain man hottie. West has waited all his life never having met someone that's making these feelings of heat and the thoughts in his head of the one. Their passion is undeniably super hot and their chemistry is so off the charts. Will Lauren and West firt thought be when you know you know as they spend time together? Can Lauren give her heart and herself to West in one night and can she still continue her contract with West? Does West acknowledge that Lauren is the one he's been waiting for and does he get Lauren to start thinking forever? What an exceptional ebook! It will make you laugh with the witty banter and bring a tear to your eye with the emotions both West and Lauren are feeling. West is one of three rough, gruff veterans building a lodge on the mountains for other veterans to rehab in. He thought he was fine with living alone until he rescued a beautiful, curvy little caterer from being swept off his mountain. Now he just has to persuade her that she needs a possessive, protective alpha older man in her life permanently.

Lauren has come to the realisation that the work van was the wrong choice for driving up the mountain in torrential rain. Just when she thinks disaster is going to strike a huge, grim, growly wall of muscle hauls her out of the van and up to the lodge.

Another warming instalove romance between a damaged veteran and a sunshine chef. Brilliant world building, great characters and a fun, flirty, fast read. Always a pleasure reading one of Debra's books.

She is determined to make her bones as a caterer by landing the contract for the new lodge. This is what sends her out in weather she probably shouldn't have been driving in. When the flooding forces her off the road, a big mountain man saves her and takes her to the lodge. It turns out he is one of the owners, and the second he saw her he knew that she was his. Even drenched, she was what his dreams were made of, and he knows he has to figure out a way get her on board, because he is all ready to wife her up and keep her forever. This is a cute quick read with him falling fast and first, her not far behind. There is a little spice, a little bit of tension and a happily ever after. It is a great quick read when you don't have time to bury yourself in a book but still want to treat yourself.

Mountain Man Savior is Book 1 of the Mountain Men of Pineville series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. West is a 38 year old hunky ex-military man who is opening a lodge for vets with a few of his military friends. Lauren is a 26 year old sweet and curvy caterer. She ends up stuck in her catering can in the way to the lodge when West rescues her. The two are instantly attracted to one another but part ways. The next day, she comes back, and West confirms she feels the same about him. The chemistry between these two was pure fire, and the ending was so happy. Please tell me Dylan and Lars end up together!! I loved it!!.

Just okay. It’s an okay story, but that’s the best I can do. It needed more editing. The characters are marginally developed at best. There’s very little story to discuss. Our female protagonist hits a storm where her catering van gets stuck in the mud in a road washout. The hero gets her out of her van then drives her to his place. That’s the story. It links to a whole series of stories set in the same area featuring interlinking characters. If you want quantity, the author can deliver so you can read about these characters and their world for a while! I wasn’t interested enough to want to keep reading. I’d definitely tell someone interested to try it out and make their own decision about it.

Lauren and West, these two meet when she gets caught in a bad storm and he takes her back to the lodge (he and two mates are working on setting up a retreat) to get her warmed up.
From that moment on both of their inner dialogue indicates it’s a case of insta attraction and within 24 hours these two are living together.
Epilogue is rather sweet
Overall, this is a very quick read, so yes things move fast, but be assured these two will have you smiling. Medium spice, great communication, humour and love.

This was a fun series opener and it brought together grumpy West and quick witted Lauren. She's supposed to demonstrate her catering skills when she gets into trouble on the mountain road to West's new lodge. Of course, he's the one that helps her and he falls immediately for her. However, the angst of their age gap and him being her boss has him trying to keep his distance. Ha! She knows what she wants and they really can't resist. Expect to feel the heat as they work their way to a wonderful HEA. I'm thinking this is going to be a wonderful series ;D

The book I’m reviewing today is titled, Mountain Man Savior which is the first installment of the Mountain Men of Pineville book series written by Debra Elise. This story is an intriguingly fast read that hits all the perfect feels for romance seekers of grumpy-sunshine, age gap, and insta-love romances. This is my first experience with the author, Debra Elise, it was such a pleasure to read I will be looking forward to more novellas from her.

Wow! It may be a few years since West was a boy, but as a man he definitely packs a punch! He knows Lauren is his soul mate the moment he sees her and nothing will stop him doing everything he can to convince her they belong together!
He is intense, possessive, growly and moving at light speed, but somehow it just works for him....and Lauren. Their love is wild and feral, steamy and sweet, it's completely OTT and sweeps you along for the crazy ride.

The pair are bickering back and forth from the beginning until the chemistry heats up between them. This is a short and steamy read with likable characters.

Great read!

Loved this short story …. Moves fast, yet is realistic through the instant attraction two strangers both feel. Lauren and West feel like people you really would like to get to know and spend time with. Their story is fast paced, and the supporting cast adds just enough “real life” input and opinions to keep it believable. Can’t wait to read more about this group of men and their veteran’s sanctuary … and the women who claim them!

Book 1 of Mountain Men of Pineville gives its readers an instant love romance story. I love that West was more concern about his age gap with Lauren, but when she gave the green light it was on. This was a quick but steamy romance story that did not disappoint and an enjoyable start to a new series.

Lauren is on her way up the mountain when a sudden rain storm hits. Her van get stuck in the mud and is in danger of being washed away. A mountain of a grump (West) just happens by and forces her into his truck. They end up at the lodge for her meeting but nothing goes as expected.
