The Davinchi Cartel is a notorious, all-female drug empire known for its ruthlessness ways. The cartel is led by three powerful Willow is the calculating and fearless leader. Kehlani, is the seductive yet deadly one; and Izzy is known as the brains, the tech-savvy genius behind their operations. Their father Ezekiel, the breeder of all girls had no regrets about handing the reign of his empire over to his daughters, as they had been trained for this since birth. Unlike the male-dominated cartels they compete with, the Davinchi sisters have built their empire through strategy, and loyalty to one another.
Their dominance is challenged when the infamous Santoro brothers threatens their territory. These brothers, Javi, Chase, and Hakeem are equally dangerous, yet charismatic, with an aura and swag making them impossible to ignore. As the war intensifies, the attraction grows between the sisters and the brothers, which sets them up for a twisted love story of betrayal, and deadly, untrustworthy alliances.
However, in the cartels’ world, everything came with a price. While most people may love the idea of ‘love’, other people misconstrued it as a sign of weakness, and weakness was a loophole for distractions. Trust is a dangerous game, and revenge is thirsty. Secrets that were once buried come to resurface. When some of the most ruthless people come together and find love in the cartel, love over blood may just win.
I’ve enjoyed The Inc cartel books but this one so far is a favorite! I love that it’s not your typical “men rule” cartel story! A cartel ran by 3 fine and ruthless sisters is my kind of book! I’m gonna buy an actual copy of this one! Loved it!
I really enjoyed this book. I love a good cartel book. I read this so fast made my head spin. These sisters had it made and the alliance with brothers from the other cartel.
This was a nice read. It wasn’t an excessive use of smut or profanity. The DaVinchi’s paired up with the Santoro’s and the unexpected happened as they went to war with a mutual enemy. Of course, once you get rid of one enemy, another one will pop up. A book about how women are seen when it comes to leading as well as finding love when that’s the last think you’re looking for comes together in the fofth installment of The Inc
Being women, running one of the biggest Cartel's in a game that is usually dominated by men wasn't easy for Willow, Kehlani, and Izzy. They were always being tested. Which was their enemies downfall. Willow being the oldest was very calculating, deadly, and cold. Kehlani being the second oldest was just as deadly and calculating. She enjoyed the thrill of killing. Izzy being the youngest were they eye's and ears. Izzy didn't need to get in the battlefield. Her knowledge of breaking into systems and being able to watch their enemies and stay ten steps ahead. Helped keep them all alive. When the Santoro brother's Javi, Chase, and Hakeem stepped on the Davinchi territory. I thought all hell was going to break loose. Until Javi informed the sister's they had a common enemy that was coming after all of them. Willow was skeptical about forming a allegiance with the brother's. Although she heard about them and knew they were just as deadly and calculating while showing zero mercy on their enemies. I knew the moment the sister's and brother's met. More than a allegiance to defeat their enemy Morales was going to happen. Javi was smitten with Willow and didn't hide it. Willow didn't know how to respond or feel at first. She was taught that feelings showed weakness but Willow also wanted peace. Running the Cartel along with all the death and destruction was starting to take it's toll on her. I was glad she let her guard down with Javi. While they were going to war with Morales. Javi and Willow was getting to know each other on a more personal level. Kehlani was wild and reckless. I laughed at her and Chase because they were damn near a like. Both were a damn mess, got a thrill out of killing and had each other back no matter how much they argued. The attraction was there. Izzy was the quiet one working behind the scenes and Hakeem was the same. You can see their attraction for each other the first time they met. Izzy was battling with leaving the Cartel after being caught in the crossfire too many times. Hakeem knew that life wasn't for Izzy and was ready to take her away from it all. During all the chaos. Bonds were formed. Love was showned and they all made it out alive. I could tell Ezekiel had a lot of regrets when it came to Willow, Kehlani, and Izzy. He didn't have any son's and his daughters were the only one's who could take over his Cartel. Ezekiel showed in his actions how it bothered him that his girls didn't get to live a normal life. He lowkey was happy as hell to see a allegiance he fought so hard to not formed for year's. Worked out in the end for Willow, Kehlani, and Izzy.
The Davinchi sister were boss in their own right. Willow is the leader of the three, Kehlani is full of chaos because she was unpredictable like storm in human form according to Ezekiel, Izzy is delicate and fragile and a beast in getting hacking on the computers. Ezekiel trained Willow to be the head of the cartel. So when the Santoros brothers were moving into their territory, they decided to call a truce and form an alliance. The older siblings didn't plan on falling in love with their stolen moments. Kehlani and Izzy thought Willow would be disappointed with them if they were falling for Chase and Hakeem like she fell for Javi. Some people of Javi 's team was giving Morales men the drop on everything the crew made. Another head of the cartel came into play they took him out as well. They all walked away from the cartel with some battle scars, but they never leave the underworld.
These sisters knee their worth, their capabilities but living in a so called man's world they found themselves having to prove they are just as deadly and capable. Joining forces with another rival mafia the Santoros these three brother was a force to be reckon with but when the two joined to take down a common enemy the underworld was not ready, as they completed each job each individual found their better half and couples were formed in the end the war was.won and each sister had the love of their life.
S. Yvonne I must say this was a bit different from the love stories I’m used to from you. I loved how you incorporated the mob into the hood and then finding love in their oops. Willow was amazing in this book as they all were. However I’m so interested in what the computer genius sister has going on. I want more from these characters because they all were amazing. Great read as always from this amazing author.
This book was boring and predictable. Nothing about the plot stood out. Never understood why author’s feel like strong female characters have to dim who they are just to get the man. I wasn’t impressed at all which was disappointing since the author had an opportunity to show us not one, but three strong female leads just to drop the ball. I’ve almost every book of this collaboration and this is definitely the worst one. Step your pen game up boo because this ain’t it.
This is one of my favorite authors. With that being said I felt the book was rushed. There wasn’t any transitions into the next scenes so that took away from the flow. There were a few errors but nothing major. Still worth reading!!!! Can’t wait to read the next! 💕
I liked this chapter of The Inc. S. Yvonne did the sisters justice. I wanted more. And for some reason I don't think this will be the end of The Davinchi Cartel. Especially when I see the next war is with Dom. S. Yvonne new book series. I am going to find out.
This was an okay read. I think I was expecting a little bit more. While reading I never felt pulled into the story. I did love that they were a female led cartel and displayed strength and unity. They each knew their role and stuck to what was best for them. In the end they each found their happiness.
Now that is how you get you a man and take over. Them sisters and them brothers were nothing to play with. I'm just mad that they did not have any children to let the cartel live on. It would have been fire to see what they would have birthed.
A cartel ran by women is a refreshing change. I wish there was more individual/couple character development. It felt like the couples were thrown together with no backstory.
I look forward to reading the rest of this series and the book about Dom by this author.
I love a good book with strong women. Especially women that were already strong without having a man get them there. These women wanted different things and their men was there to help them achieve it. Great read. Ready for the Don
Those sisters were ruthless. I am so happy they survived and found love with the Santoro brothers. I was hoping they would get married with kids, but that would be dangerous for them. Great Read!
I really enjoyed this book!!!…This book was written so well and the personality of the characters really helped with the vision of each person!!…I love how they were matched up and balanced each other out!!!… I can’t wait for the follow up of Dom!!!…
The Davinci sisters joined in an alliance with the Santorini brothers. Love connections were made. But it all came with a hefty price. So much blood shed. All of them considering so they even want this life.
I thought Izzy would be the one to leave first not willow and I thought one of the girls would have gotten pregnant with a son but maybe it was meant for them to be the female cartel can’t wait to see the next
S Yvonne never disappoints. This book was was a good from page one. I love the fearless power that the ladies had. They were a force to be reckoned with and to get the allies become unstoppable. Must read 🥰🔥🔥
The Davinchi’s and the Santoro’s are sworn enemies, but when the time comes for a truce to handle business that affects them both can they get it done. Trust is a big factor, can really trust anyone in their world ! A great read!
This book is probably one of the most lackluster and meh books I’ve ever read in my life. This book should’ve been 3 separate stories. There’s so many plot holes and unanswered questions. There’s also grammatical errors and no character development.
There were a million errors that should have been caught during editing. This book seemed rushed and missing pieces of the story. Definitely not what I have grown to expect from S. Yvonne. The ending was a let down as well.
The sisters and brothers out here fighting, killing, blowing up stuff and falling in love. Whew! And I don’t don’t expect that ending. Can’t wait to read The Miami King!
This was a nice quick read. I enjoyed it. I liked the matchup between the two cartels I did think there was going to be more to the war, but it was just enough honestly
