Sophie Marlow believes in ghosts. Wyatt Boone believes she’s out of her mind.
When Sophie lands in Skagway, Alaska, to chase down ghost stories and prove her theory that the aurora borealis is basically a paranormal hotspot, she expects a few bumps along the way. What she doesn’t expect is Wyatt—a park ranger who’s about as warm and welcoming as the glaciers. Wyatt has exactly zero patience for Sophie’s ghost-hunting antics or her belief that his neighbor, Darrow O’Reilly, used to be a ghost (even if Darrow swears it’s true).
Wyatt thinks Sophie is eccentric at best, delusional at worst. Sophie thinks Wyatt could use a lesson in lightening up. But between northern lights, ghost tours, and a few too-close-for-comfort encounters with Alaskan wildlife, their mutual irritation starts to thaw into something they’re both reluctant to attraction.
She’s chasing ghosts. He’s avoiding feelings. But in Alaska, anything can happen—including love.
Wildly, Boldly is a heartwarming, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy that proves love can be as wild and bold as Alaska itself.

Diane Darcy is slipping in the details..... Amazing mainline story, but this is a spin-off!! It's not about one of The 79 but one of his wife's brothers. She also kept referring to Darrow as IRISH?!?!?! Ummm, Excuse me, but the Culloden Battlefield is in SCOTLAND, and the warriors are all Scottish!!! Darrow even discusses growing up in SCOTLAND!! How did none of her team catch that detail??? I have read both of her books in this continuation and have not been impressed. LL Muir's are much better.
I've been to Skate at and it is as beautiful as described. I've been rereading the Culloden ghost story associated with these new tales. The story plot and writing pretty much follows the original. Names and occupation are changed to protect the story. 😃 The ghost angle and pod casting was a clever twist.
Had me hooked from start to finish like all the books from the first culloden book. Will say its my fav of all the books just because the last few chapters are set on my birthday and amazingly i finished on my birthday. Keep them coming love seeing the ghosties again and meeting the new blood on the block.
A ghost Hunter and a nonbeliever saw spirits dancing in the northern lights in the aurora season. As much as they were not to be compatible somehow they sure fell in love.
I loved this story. Though it technically has one of the 79 featured in the storyline, it's more about two people who meet, fall in love, and marry to have their own future play out in Alaska. Wonderful.
Such a lovely romance. The setting in Alaska is wonderful. I found myself reliving my own Alaska vacation and the absolute beauty of the country. Alaska is a picturesque state full of wonders and old folklore.
I loved the story setting, beautiful mountains, flora and fauna, and the local stories all described beautifully. The characters were well developed and memorable.
Good read from Diane Darcy. Kind of like this revisiting of the 79, although these stories aren't really about them. I liked these characters and the plot. Looking forward to reading more in this series.
