As someone who enjoys Valencia Rose’s books, I was excited to dive into Mafia King’s Forbidden Vows. The age gap romance between Aria and Elio had so much potential, and while I did enjoy the overall storyline, I struggled a bit with the beginning.

The introduction felt a little too tangled for my liking, with a heavy focus on Aria’s father, the police chief. It made it difficult to get into the flow of the story, and I found myself having to really focus just to push through to the core of the plot.

Aria, as a character, came across as quite indecisive at first. I couldn’t quite tell if she truly wanted Elio or was just caught up in the chaos around her. It was a bit frustrating trying to understand her motives because it felt like she didn’t even know her own mind.

That said, I did finish the book, and there were moments I enjoyed. Elio’s character brought intensity, and I could see what the author was aiming for with the forbidden love angle. But compared to other books by Valencia Rose that I’ve read, this one left me a little disappointed.

Still, if you’re into mafia romance with a touch of angst and family drama, it might be worth a read. Just be prepared for a slow start.

Aria’s dad got a promotion in position as a deputy Chief,they were celebrating for his promotion. Through the people she noticed a guy that she knew from social media a country most sought after bachelor and business man.
When he noticed that she’s looking at him,he went to talk to her while they were talking he called her by her name. She said to him if youre interested in fighting crime, my father this month is testifying in court ,if you like to come I can let you in. He gaved her his business card so she can contact him.
They went outside the terrace talking
and they finished kissing he took her to his car they made out ,but when he was going to take her she stopped him.
After a week she met him into a gala ,someone called her that her dad is been injured, when she was going out she heard Elio giving orders to kill somebody.
To hide his criminal affairs he offered her to marry him in change of protection for her and her dad from the mafia , but she rejected the offer, but she will think at it.
It’s a good story that I enjoyed reading

As always I’m going to be as honest as possible with this book. It’s good. In the beginning I thought I would love it and give it 5 stars but I’m not so sure now that I ended it. I mean, Aria and Elio are beautiful together but I still don’t understand how they did fall in love. Most of all, WHEN.
Also SPOILER SPOILER I don’t like how aria told Elio that she was pregnant. Girl, in the middle of a CONVERSATION??? And accusing him that he’s a monster yoda yoda yoda. Baby you made love to him every chance, be for real. He’s a monster but you’re dumb 😶. Then he proceeds to change his life and made Cortez a capo??? Like when did it all happen??? In one chapter ? Girl no you’re ruining it all. Like I said, it was great at first and I was hopeful, then it got weird. Still good tho, I definitely don’t regret reading it. Just I don’t think I would read it again.


Oooooooh my god I almost forgot this: teacher????? It was daddy at first and then TEACHER? No, ruins the vibe. It’s daddy or nothing. Good lord.

Dark Mafia Romance

The forth in a dark mafia romance series, full of action, drama, forced marriage, steamy romance, secrets, suspense, violence, danger, power struggle and passion with some fabulous twists.

Aria is sweet and innocent when she meets Elio at a party to celebrate her father's promotion to Deputy Chief of police. They click and have a moment together with her thinking they both work on the same side of the law but that's far from the truth.

Elio is an alpha male, tall, dark, brooding, and trouble. He's initially wanting to use Aria for information as he's a Mafia Don, but when Aria and her father are in danger he offers protection if she'll marry him. And once she's agreed … he's not letting her go.

I started this book...couldn't get into it, shelved it then cam back to it a week ago...glad I did but....
I think this is closer to 3 1/2 stars than a 4! I love an age gap book but at the a start of this relationship she was just turned 18 and he was 35, yet he became instantly obsessed with her...it was a OTT for me. altho the MMC was fairly well developed (it helps we have met him in previous books of the series), the MFC development left a bit to be desired. To be completely honest, I never became deeply invested in her well being, heart break or feelings.
I enjoyed the previous books in this series much more ... this is the weakest of the 5 so far ...despite that, I look forward to Konstantin's book.
4 stars on the heat and smut...it was a little creepy( close to stalker vibes) for me at times....

OMG 😱 this was another great mafia story with a virgin, forbidden relationship, dom/sub experiences. Like WOW!!! It was addicted steamy page turner and the suspense was so intense. He was intrigued with her beauty and she couldn’t stand him. It was love and hate love affair. The chemistry between them was sexual tension and the physical attraction was captivating and spicy hot of course with the hint of forbidden love affair and danger. Their lives will never be the same again. They couldn’t fight the temptation any longer and they might give in their romance feelings.

This dark and steamy mafia romance book about Elio and Aria is going to have you staying up way past your bedtime reading and finishing it up. OMG I was a total goner once I started reading about the characters in this amazing and hard to resist reading book by Valencia. So, just know that once you start reading this 5-star book you are going to have an EXTREMELY HARD time stopping, and if you're like me I had to finish it before I went to sleep. Looks like a nap is what I have going on later today next.

WOW, if you want to read a great very dark steamy mafia romance you don't have to look any further.
There's killings but you expect that, so many secrets and you really get to know Aria and how far she will go to find the killer of her elder brother.
Aria was blackmailed in to married life with Elio even though she knows he is a powerful mafia Don, she didn't go willingly and made it hard work for him.
As soon as you start reading this story you will not be able to leave it alone, Valencia really knows how to bring a story to life, even if its inly in your mind.

This was a very intense story. Elio was a mob boss who was very powerful. He saw Aria and wanted her. When she didn't have sex with him, he was furious but intrigued. There was very hot chemistry between them which they eventually succumbed to. She didn't know at first who or what he was, but when she found out, she still couldn't stay away.
There was lots of drama, violence, some hot scenes and finally an HEA. It was well worth reading.

He's a mob boss and she is the daughter of a top cop whose job is to bring him down. When he first encounters Aria she is unlike any of the other women he knows. She doesn't belong in his world and when she turns him down, he is intrigued. She is an intern in the DA's office and when she uncovers information that could get her killed Elio does the only thing, he can marry her to keep her safe. This thrilling story had me all caught up in the drama as I connected with the main characters in this story.

Good Read, likeable characters, "perfect world" ending.
Elio and Aria come from two completely different worlds, and really shouldn't work. And as soon as they stop getting in their own ways, they do.
Its a couple that you want to root for because even though they don't believe it you, the reader, know that feelings are genuine on both sides, even when they don't really want to admit it to themselves just yet.

Aria is blackmailed into marrying Elio in order to protect her father. The story between the two is spicey & flows. Aria isn't the standard shy and retiring type and has spirit. The ending was the issue. I won't give it away, but the trope is extremely old and just doesn't work. The ending brought the rating down. What a wonderful story, we follow Elio the mafia boss who is used to getting what he wants in business and in women because of his power no one refuses him or so he thinks Aria is different from the women he normally surrounds himself with. He is furious that she dares to refuse him, but along the way he also becomes curious about her. A wonderfully steamy mafia romance that is worth reading.

The Boss of the Mafia Bosses and the law student intern have a steamy, sexy and spicy, dark and dangerous, enemies to lovers romance, with violence and other dramas as expected with a mafia story. Another great read in this series.

… good besides timelines n book orders being a mess.

Tbh I probably won’t finish the rest of the series. Don’t get me wrong it’s good. But the books should’ve been released in a different order. Ezra’s and ravens which is next should have been first. This one should have been second. And the first one should have been 3rd since that’s how they are timeline wise. If that type of thing don’t bother you definitely read. But if your like me and can’t handle that don’t lol.

Elio and Aria meet at a function, and they are both instantly attracted to one another. They come from different worlds. Elio is a mafia Don. Aria is in law enforcement. Tons of danger, secrets, and wanting revenge!! The two decide to get married and work as a team. They work hard to right past wrong. The caring and compassion shared between them was awesome. Smoking hot chemistry.

I loved this book and would highly recommend this read. It is book 4 in a series, however,you do not need to read the previous ones for this one. They are all standalones able to be read in any order.

I love a good mafia romance, and this one did not disappoint with all the spice, revenge, and action I love in and enemies to lovers romance. This is a story I recommend reading especially if you love an older possessive Mafia Don who has his eyes set on a younger intelligent attorney that works for the DA's office bringing tons of twists and turns as they search for answers but also try to find their HEA.
