Too much angst and drama for nothing. It was one of these cases where everything would be ok if the main characters communicated from the beginning. Such a needless misunderstanding...
Still, it was a fast and fun read, nothing out of the ordinary.
I realised that with this author it's a 50-50 chance of reading something that's super great or just plain mediocre. I seem to keep coming back to her books though... I wonder why that is....

Oh my gosh! I think this may be my favorite Noelle Adams book, ever! I love them all, but this one just satisfied something inside me. The pain and struggle of this couple, the duplicity that had been played upon them, and their eventual reconciliation...it was a wild rush of emotions from one moment to the next. And I loved every second of it!
The gentle, tentative way Leah and Kevin came together was exquisite. Kevin’s reactions to her dating someone else were somewhat humorous because they’re reactions I love in a hero. Her obliviousness to his feelings at the time made it all the more enjoyable. The fact that neither of them had a clue what the other felt and trying to have more but afraid of what the result of that attempt might be gave it that friends to lovers feel.
This couple when together were electrifying! Everything between them was believable and their smexy times were nuclear powered. It added credence to the way they both responded when their time together went viral. It wasn’t just about the physical act, they had so much emotion between them.
This has a bit of an emotional twist at the end that I found heart wrenching but as always, this author’s characters tend to choose to act in a mature manner. The end result of course being a happy ever after with an epilogue to top it all off perfectly.

I freely admit that I love romances that take place in Hollywood or have a (fictional) famous actor in them. There’s just something about them that call to me. Maybe it’s all the crushes I had on my favorite actors as a kid. ;)
But whatever the reason, I do love them. So when I first saw this book, I knew I had to read it. I wasn’t the least disappointed. I loved every moment of it.
I found it intriguing, right off the bat. Four and a half years later, and Leah is still dealing with the fallout of the sex tapes that were leaked to the media. She found a way to turn an all-around bad situation into something positive and she was able to carve out a life for herself. But she was still being haunted and taunted by it.
On the flip-side, you have Kevin. His life seems to have taken off. He’s Hollywood’s golden boy. His career didn’t suffer from the sex tapes. Everyone jumped to his defense and thought Leah was after fame and just using him. He’s the poor guy that had the misfortune to fall in love with her. So color me surprised to find out that Kevin was not responsible for the release of the sex tapes. He assumed (along with everyone else in the world) that Leah was responsible.
So I now had a “Who-Done-It” on my hands. I had my suspicions (and I was right) but I won’t give it away because finding out was part of the fun.
As much as I liked Leah, I loved being in Kevin’s head. She was so bitter and sure that Kevin was the spawn of the Devil that she just couldn’t let go to really see/feel what Kevin’s feelings. But Kevin, even when he thought Leah was responsible, he still loved her. He was so sure of his feelings and at the first chance, he grabbed the second chance with both hands.
My only complaint (and it's not really a complaint) is that I wish there had been an epilogue that was set in the future to see what Kevin & Leah's life was like. But that's just me because I wanted more and wasn't ready for the book to be over. :)

4 - "golden" - stars!
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick and easy read that left me smiling.
Leah is the owner of The Retreat, a coffee shop/wine bar, that's known for its celebrity clientele. Four and a half years ago, Leah was thrown into the spotlight when a few sex tapes of her and her celebrity boyfriend, Kevin, were leaked to the media. Kevin was known for his role on a teen show and his famous father, but he wanted to make a name for himself and take on more serious roles.
The tapes catapulted his career, but simultaneously tanked Leah's reputation, forcing her to give up her dream of being an actor. Kevin and Leah were in love, but haven't spoken a word since. They each believe the other is responsible for hiding the camera and leaking the tapes.
They find themselves in an interesting position now. Kevin needs more exposure for his new movie and Leah needs to build up the hype for her restaurant opening. Their business managers and PR people think it would be beneficial for both parties if they take what appears to be a romantic trip.....together. They end up alone in a private villa for two weeks. A lot can change in two weeks!

"You've never been nothing to me. Even when I thought I should hate you, I still care more than I ever should have."So who leaked the sex tapes? Well, you have to read to find out. I think that part of the book could have been developed a little bit more, but overall it was a cute love story.

The fact that NOTHING happened to the person that ruined both their lives, IRRITATED me SOOOOOOOOOO much, that I wanted to throw my iPad at the wall... HARD!!!!

I love everything that Noelle Adams has written and I honestly thought I had read most of her books and when I discovered I was wrong I was supper excited. I started with Overexposed and I am in love with Leah and Kevin. Anyone who saw Kevin would think that he was this super put together man but they would be so wrong. Kevin just honestly wants someone to love him for who he is not for what he has and does. He found that in Leah. Leah is this carefree girl and she is so pure and innocent on the inside. She fell hard for Kevin. Then something happened that tore them apart and neither will be the same again. Now they are given a second chance. Will they be able to work it out? Will they be able to trust the other? Is the damaged to great to repair? Pick up this book and find out the answer to those questions because you will not be disappointed. This was an incredible read from start to finish.

This book starts five years back with barista/wannabe actress Leah on a dream holiday in the south of France with her friend, Cassie, Cassie’s boyfriend – Hollywood star Kevin Grayson, and Leah’s boyfriend Joey. It’s pretty obvious that Leah has feelings for Kevin and that her relationship with Joey is fizzling out. We come back to the present and find out something has gone badly wrong for Leah. She’s still good friends with Cassie but it’s clear that sometime after the holiday Leah got involved romantically with Kevin and he used her pretty badly. A sex tape scandal involving Leah and Kevin led to his waning career progressing from teen star to a successful serious actor, while Leah was branded as an attention seeker who was responsible for the tapes being leaked. But Leah is entirely innocent of this.
When the scandal broke Kevin cut off all contact and Leah was left to pick up the pieces of her life with a ruined reputation. Her hopes of an acting career were completely scuppered. Still, all publicity is good publicity and Leah had enough nous to salvage what she could of the situation, making some money which she invested successfully in the coffee house she had been hoping she could leave behind her. Now she is the owner of the business. She fronts up to rude comments from frat boys and sleazy men coming on to her in the humiliating knowledge that they’ve all seen her naked and having sex on the internet. She hasn’t had a boyfriend since the incident, as understandably she is going to have a hard time trusting.
‘She’d made more money from it than she could have ever hoped to make as an actress, since she probably never would have been a big star. But she would give it all back in an instant if it meant her life and reputation wouldn’t have been trashed four and a half years ago.’
Do you hate Kevin yet? I certainly did by this point! Now Leah’s business manager wants to set up a publicity stunt involving her and Kevin going on a ‘secret’ romantic holiday. Although Leah doesn’t want to see Kevin again she’s about to branch out the business to open a restaurant in addition to the coffee shop and the extra publicity would serve her well.
But then we switch to Kevin’s point of view and we see there is another side to it. He has agreed to do this for some closure, because four and a half years ago when the tapes appeared online he felt completely betrayed by the only woman he had ever loved.

And he’d give it all up in an instant if it meant his heart hadn’t been trampled into the mud four and a half years ago.’
I usually enjoy Noelle Adams’ books, and this one was no exception. I felt so bad for Leah, the betrayal of being let down, the humiliation of having your most intimate moments exposed and all the mudslinging and character assassination that followed. Afterwards I felt sorry for Kevin too as although he hadn’t had the reputational damage that Leah had lived through the heartbreak was just as real.
Since it’s dual point of view we know that Kevin is telling the truth when he tells Leah that he isn’t responsible for the tapes going online, but she has no idea, and after being so badly let down in the past, it would take a huge leap of faith on her part to allow her to take the risk of trusting him again. She’s not sure she can go back to being the girl that she was, before she had the barriers to hide behind.
There is one thing which I thought was a bit odd; once they accept that neither one of them leaked the tapes they don't really moderate their behaviour or speculate over who it could have been although Kevin sets somebody to investigate. If somebody did something so life-changing to me there's no way I could drop it until I found out who it was.
This author’s works vary, with some containing no sex scenes but this book has quite a lot of sex scenes, and some crude language too, so if you don’t like those then perhaps this is one you should avoid, but if you don’t mind those things and are looking for a spicy sunlounger read then maybe give this one a go!

I had a great time reading this book, it was well written and I loved the characters. Overall this was an amazing book. The characters had sparks flying off the pages. I read it in one day,I just couldn't put it down.
Leah and Kevin meet through friends. They became close friends overtime and that relationship turned into something much more than friendship. When something awful happens they don't communicate and things go bad, both blaming the other. It takes four and a half years to figure things out.
Kevin was a very likeable guy with a heart of gold. He struggled with inner demons that steamed from a horrible relationship with his father. It left him feeling not good enough. He was always waiting for things to crash down around him, so when the incident occurred, it made him feel nothing good would ever stay.
Leah was young and seemed to be a little naive. She was an extremely strong character, for all that she had to endure. She made it through a tough time. But she came out of it with a hard shell. She lost the ability to trust anyone or believe that all people have good in them.
I loved this book, it makes you realize that you have to communicate and not to expect the worse out of people and different situations.

I gotta say, my history, of late, with books read via Netgalley has been like my acceptance rate with them, 50-50, that is. With that in mind, I then tend to dive in with a bit of hesitation, wondering if the next read will disappoint again (glass half-empty much?). I prefer it that way though because then, I end nicely surprised when I end up liking a book.
Which is what happened with this one, yay! It's a story about 2nd chances, which I enjoy. I admit I was worried the first few pages because there was a lot of narratives, too much telling; but in time, I thought the story built up nicely. It went back and forth b/w the past and present. Not too much angst, quite light I almost want to say which I'm ok with, but I did feel the intensity of the heat b/w the H&h. Some things felt like they were resolved conveniently or left unexplained. But in the end, I liked it more than I thought I would.

Leah and Kevin have one hell of an obstacle to overcome in this second chance romance: they both think the other person leaked their sex tapes four years ago. For Romance Reasons, they decide to fake date for the publicity but they each have a hard time concealing their respective hurt. Luckily, it doesn't take long for them to realize that neither of them did this heinous deed. While Leah takes longer to warm up to the idea of getting back together, Kevin is all in, since he's never gotten over her and had a hard time accepting someone he loved could do that to him.
This was all well and good. However,

I usually really like Noelle Adams/Claire Kent, but this was a bit of a letdown. I was entirely with this until the story decided that it was the heroine’s job to “fix” the hero. After the first betrayal she gives him the benefit of the doubt and reaches out to him, while he just wallows in his self-pity; after the second betrayal, she’s the one who gives him the benefit of the doubt AGAIN and reaches out to him, while he’s been wallowing in self-pity AGAIN. Why is she responsible for allaying all of his deep-seated insecurities? Kevin talks a big game about regaining her trust, but he doesn’t actually do anything other than show her a good time in Jamaica. Then the drama of the second betrayal occurs, Leah is understandably deeply hurt and leaves him, and he doesn’t pursue her or do damage control — he just wallows and drinks himself into a stupor.
Kevin is human, but he’s also weak and not a suitable partner for a relationship.

A steamy, second chance romance.
Their love affair was an inevitable eventuality. It would seem their love would need to withstand more obstacles then it should. How is out to destroy them, not just once but twice.
Their love story was so heartwarming to read, to get to know these two trouble souls, was a delight. You really felt their heartbreak and their betrayal. I would have liked to have seen justice served on the person who did this to them, being fired just didn’t seem enough.

This is one of my favorite books by this author. I enjoy stories with a sportsman hero, and while I’m usually more cautious about famous singers or Hollywood stars, this one was a rare win for me. The story focuses on trust issues and the challenges of having private moments exposed to the public. I appreciated how the main characters navigate their conflicts, blaming each other at times, but ultimately finding their way back together. The angst in the story really helps to highlight their chemistry and deep feelings, without being overly dramatic or too heavy.

I appreciated how the main characters navigate their conflicts, blaming each other at times, but ultimately finding their way back together. The angst in the story really helps to highlight their chemistry and deep feelings, without being overly dramatic or too heavy.

A fast paced good read. I'm a little upset that neither one just talked about the huge incident. They each believed the other was a terrible person and didn't try to do anything about it. That was frustrating to find out but it is all good and turns into a HEA.

Another great book.
Had to read this book straight through and be very lazy. I enjoy all of Noelle's books. Loved the storyline too.

I usually like this Author's books but there was just nothing to connect with in this story. It was more sex scenes than actual story so I ended up skimming most of it.

Oh god. Oh god. Oh god.
For five years, Leah had to suffer from the personal attacks from the media, malicious teasing from the male population and heartache. She was painted in bad light when footage of their most intimate moment came into the world, while Kevin got the public sympathy. She thought it was him who put it out for the world to see – he ruined her trust. He was the guilty one and yet she was the one suffering from the consequences. Looking at him, he didn’t seem to care at all.
As a result, she hardened, built walls around the heart, gave up romance – anything to make her vulnerable again. When desperate needs needed desperate measures, she found herself agreeing to Kevin’s PR people and went on to a crazy plan of them having a romantic vacation together.
For two weeks, they were going to be together, pretending to put a second chance in their relationship for the world to see. Can she resist temptation? She had suffered enough for five years, will she fall for any of his charms again? Will she believe him? Especially when it sounded like the truth?
It took them five years to be together in one room, five years to finally know what happened between the two of them – because as the past will suggest, these two started with friendship, and friendship builds solid foundation on relationship. When the tapes came out, and everything fell apart, I was wondering who could possibly THAT heartless and broke the two? Because I’m pretty sure it’s not one of them. Although it would have been better if they had just communicated!!! They were friends before they were lovers, they should have at least talked before they decided to end their relationship. On the other hand, I couldn’t blame Leah for being hurt and not wanting to talk to him, after all, he didn’t want to see him at first and she had been the target of the public scrutiny while Kevin’s career skyrocketed.
But don’t judge Kevin, thank goodness for a dual POV, you can get inside his thoughts and know that he too was a victim! And he suffered, maybe not publicly, from the videos that were exposed. The two-week vacation offered them a second chance once the truth had came out – but what if history repeats itself? Would he be able to rebuild their past and their hearts? Or would it would all come down to the drain?
The best relationships are built on friendship, love, trust, and excellent communication – Kevin and Leah had love, but trust and communication? Not so much. Overexposed was their journey in to their second chance, a chance on building their relationship once again. But a relationship without those factors wouldn’t last. They were older now, wiser, and the circumstances had made them stronger, it took a lot of thinking, pain and words of wisdom from a friend to finally see the light!!!!
I enjoyed reading Overexposed – loved their bumpy journey towards their second chance, it wasn’t easy, it was tough, but the results were worth it. The make-up sex could burn your readers in its steam alone, the second-chance romance was pretty amazing, and the characters are just swoon-worthy. The plot, is pretty much interesting as it is controversial, but it did get my attention. Overexposed is an engaging read from one remarkable author.

This is a second chance story involving the son of a bigwig in Hollywood and an everyday girl. The story alternates between the past and present. It starts of with the heroines POV building the story in the past when the H was dating her best friend and she was dating another guy. In the present the best friend and her ex-boyfriend are now dating and she has nothing but bitter feelings about the H. You know a bitter betrayal happened but you don't get all the details until you progress through the story.
As the story progresses the H gets a POV which is necessary to see his side of things. As readers we learn that all is not as either think but their journey is to see if the truth can be unveiled. Rest assured those that hate when the heroine or Hero are with other people in a romance book that those parts are vague and nothing descriptive happens. It is all in the past. The past story is more about building a connection between the H and h and explaining how they came together. In the future we know that a sex tape was released that catapulted the hero's career and ruined the heroine's as she was depicted in the media as using him. We know that they both feel bitterly about the other.
Once the Hero learns that the heroine really wasn't behind releasing the tape he pursues her pretty heavily. The heroine is a little more hesitant to give the guy another chance and trust is a big factor for her since she took the fall for everything in the past. It's the second half of the book before the hero learns the truth so you only get half a book of the hero chasing the heroine if that sort of thing matters to you.
Things to note: While the Hero isn't a total manwhore he has lived a lot more, shall we say- experienced life than the heroine. At the beginning of the story he is a little lost but not in a way that is trite. I don't like manwhores but this hero didn't bother me in where he starts the story.

Five years ago Leah thought she had it all; she was with Kevin a sexy actor that she loved enjoyed her job and had a few auditions for small parts. Then it all came crashing down. She was vilified by the tabloids and it seems no one will forget. She is approached with a concept to give her the publicity she needs for the opening of her new restaurant and a bump in Kevin's PR would help him since his last movie was a bomb. It would be great for business but what about her heart?
Leah is the most developed character in this story; even though we have moments of Kevin's POV I felt I knew Leah better. She is so emotionally strong; I am not sure I could stay in a city where my customers knew my notorious past and weren't shy about bringing it up. I can understand her caution against trusting many people. I did enjoy her transformation and I think she is truly finally happy. Kevin was not as developed for me and I would have liked to see more of his transformation from the hard man he started as to the one more open to love. Kevin does have a tender side that I found endearing. There is one particular scene where Kevin brings back a happy moment from their past and relives it in the present that is just so wonderful and romantic.
The plot of this book darts from past to present. Sometimes I found that frustrating because it slowed the progression of the story for me. I understood it, as giving us short looks at the past when they were necessary. I did figure out the "mystery" on my own, to me how it was revealed to the characters was not very satisfying (sorry any more info and it will be a spoiler). The ending left me wondering if there is another book in the works - nothing that is a huge cliff hanger just a rather subdued HEA.
I have come to enjoy Noelle Adams books there is always some unique to me element that I have never read before; I will definitely be on the lookout for more.

Kevin ini pacar temen sekamar nya Leah pas kuli, dan Leah sendiri jg punya pacar, tapi pada akhirnya temennya Leah malah jadian sama pacar Leah dan Leah sama Kevin. Mereka saling mencintai dan berbahagia. Kevin ini bintang film muda dan bapaknya jg aktor kawakan yg sukses, di kuntit paparazzi ude biasa lah. Masalah timbul ketika sex video tape mereka b2 beredar di dunia maya, rumor yang beredar Leah upload video itu karena ga terima diputusin Kevin, dan karena Leah kaga bisa dapet peran di dunia perfilm-an. Leah dapet cap "Whore" dan image Kevin berubah dari aktor remaja menjadi aktor dewasa.
Dendam, sakit hati dan bener-bener namanya hancur, bukan cuma itu orang-orang jg jadi nganggep die gampangan, murahan dst dst sementara Kevin playing victim dan beken dgn image "ditipu pacar"nya. Leah tidak menyangka cintanya yg murni (jyah bahasa gw) dimanfaatkan sedemikian parahnya sama Kevin demi mendaki tangga kesuksesan. 4.5 th kemudian, ketika Leah akan membuka salah satu resto yang die punya (die ga mau ekting lagi) PR nya menawarkan settingan liburan romantis bersama Kevin selama 2 minggu (settingan kek artis di mari itu deh). Awalnya Leah nolak, die ga mau berhubungan sama Kevin lagi titik! tapi pas suatu hari, pas Leah lagi diledekin sama para pelanggannya (urgh yeah, mereka masih pada muter video die sama Kevin) dan Kevin jg ada disitu, dgn coolnya Kevin cuek aja, Leah kesel.. enak aja die doang yg sukses, gw jg dong.. akhirnya Leah mau deh ambil peran Settingan itu.
2 minggu liburan, dan berpura-pura saling cinta di depan kamera, sementara ada kebencian yang mendasar di antara mereka *hallah*. Overexposed, Noelle Adams.

I liked this novel, it’s an uncomplicated, sexy, fun read. sometimes I want deep, dark drama, vampires and shifters, and sometimes I need something easy to read. That was this book yesterday.
Leah – she’s lovely, I liked her right from the first, shy and sweet and loyal to her friends, and she’s keen not to take advantage of Kevin’s offer to help her career. That’s was great to see, and it was pretty clear too that although Kevin was going out – casually in an on and off manner – with her friend, it was Leah he really wanted.
Then they get together, have a hot and heavy, sensual and spicy romance, and then all hell lets lose. He leaks sex videos she didn’t know existed of them to the media, but she got the blame for leaking them from the public, so her fledgling career is at an end. Everywhere she goes she’s labelled “whore” and worse, and she’s heart broken, struggling to get through. She really thought they had something special, and feels violated.
I liked Kevin too, even though he’d ruined her...we didn’t see that side of him, just the gentle, romantic one, and it was hard to see why he’d broken her like that – he didn’t seem that sort.
Its not difficult to work out what happened, but it made for an easy to read, fun novel with some heat and sensuality. When things go wrong yet again...argghhh, how could that happen. that part I saw coming but it still played out well, and of course I love a HEA.
Stars: Four, If you want an easy read, fun, sex and romance this is for you.

First let me say, this was such a cute book. Not too heavy and not too dark. No kidnapping. No weird fetishes. It's simply a love story about Leah and Kevin Grayson, and I loved every moment of it.
Their story was told both in the past and present tense, and was it wrong that I cared more about the past than the present? =) No really, my favorite part about Overexposed was watching Leah and Kevin fall in love for the very first time in the South of France and over s'mores. BTW…I’m secretly wishing for a prequel. I need more details on how their story unfolded prior to their breakup.
This unlikely duo was too cute together. Who would have thought that a movie star and a café owner would make the perfect pair? In the real world, it may not have worked, but in Overexposed it just worked. And you already know that the sex was amazeballs (and we know that's really all that matters to me, lol). Anywho, I’m glad that they got over their horrible past and figured out their issues. Both learned to forgive and trust again, and that’s a beautiful thing. This was a feel good story about two people destined to be together but torn apart by lies. They had a bumpy road getting back together but fate would have it no other way. They learned to move forward together and trust that true love would prevail. P.S. Yes, I am a sap, and this book spoke to the sap in me.
So, yes, I think you should read it! I gave it 4 stars.

Kevin and Leah's story starts almost five years ago, when they were on a trip in the French Riviera with their significant others. Leah seems to be the first authentic person that Kevin has come across in a while, as he was born and raised in the LA/Hollywood lifestyle. You see pretty quickly that they have a connection, even though they are both with different people. The story then fast forwards to the present when you realize that Kevin betrayed Leah in the worst way possible - he taped some of their most intimate moments and then sold them to help his career, all while blaming it on Leah and making her look like the bad person.
Leah survives, however, and somehow manages to thrive. She buys out the coffee shop she had been working at and builds it up off of the fame and notoriety of her own shame and heartbreak. I think the only word that really describes Leah is survival. She has been surviving for the past several years, even since Kevin betrayed her and sold out their most intimate moments to the paparazzi. But wait - when did the two of them get together?
I really enjoyed this book...it jumps back and forth between the past and present, but it flows very well. The time jumps happen at just the right times. You see how Kevin and Leah were able to build on a relationship, even though they started out as friends. You see them go through heartbreak and betrayal, as Kevin always believes that there will be a crash after any "high", and Leah believes in love to the point of maybe being too naive. Will the two of them be able to figure out what happened all those years ago? Who betrayed whom?

I really enjoyed this book...it jumps back and forth between the past and present, but it flows very well. The time jumps happen at just the right times. You see how Kevin and Leah were able to build on a relationship, even though they started out as friends. You see them go through heartbreak and betrayal, as Kevin always believes that there will be a crash after any "high", and Leah believes in love to the point of maybe being too naive. Will the two of them be able to figure out what happened all those years ago? Who betrayed whom?

Overexposed
The writing was a big off-putting, like the story is being told by an observer (and not a very good one at that), thus making us second-hand observers also, which doesn’t make me feel very connected with the characters.
Though in the beginning I did find find myself wondering what happens next, it was more because I was intrigued by what Kevin’s story might’ve been.
The story is a bit of a cliché, something goes wrong in Paradise, each thinks that the other one did it, turns out it was someone else who was just jealous blah blah blah.
I know we’re not inventing the wheel here, but this book is just plain boring. Pages and pages of practically nothing. Just keep reading about their Jamaican holiday, and except for the big revelation there’s nothing interesting going on, like maybe Kevin getting pis*ed off, making some calls, bashing some heads in trying to get answers as to who was responsible. I like my men and my characters a bit more…manlier. Willing to fight for their women, not curl up into a ball and weep. Not sexy dude, not sexy.
And Leah’s just a broken record, keeps saying the same thing over and over and over again “I’m not the same girl I was before” – WE GET IT! Jesus.
And don't get me started on the sex! The scenes are something straight out of a porn movie, they don’t feel romantic of intimate or anything worthwhile mentioning.
Finished it only so it wouldn’t pile up in my gave-up-on list of books.

Review: Kevin and Leah's story starts almost five years ago, when they were on a trip in the French Riviera with their significant others. Leah seems to be the first authentic person that Kevin has come across in a while, as he was born and raised in the LA/Hollywood lifestyle. You see pretty quickly that they have a connection, even though they are both with different people. The story then fast forwards to the present when you realize that Kevin betrayed Leah in the worst way possible - he taped some of their most intimate moments and then sold them to help his career, all while blaming it on Leah and making her look like the bad person.
Leah survives, however, and somehow manages to thrive. She buys out the coffee shop she had been working at and builds it up off of the fame and notoriety of her own shame and heartbreak. I think the only word that really describes Leah is survival. Leah isn’t naïve anymore. She’s given up on romance, and she’ll do whatever necessary to prove she hasn’t been defeated. So when she needs another shot of notoriety to ensure the success of her new restaurant, at the same time Kevin needs some PR help of his own, she agrees to a crazy plan.
She can fake a two-week romantic vacation with Kevin, pretending to rekindle their relationship for the eyes of the world. And she can resist Kevin’s breathtaking sexiness, even in such close quarters. And she absolutely won’t fall for any of his lies.
Overexposed was a quick and pleasing read. Kevin and Leah's have had a troubled past full of love and heartbreak. Each dealing in their own way until they are brought back together again. The sparks fly as they fight the attraction they both still feel.
I liked Kevin, I liked how he owned his mistakes and decisions. I really liked how he started opening up to Leah. Leah drove me a little crazy even though her lack of trust was completely warranted.
The are some nice, steamy hot sex scenes so if that's not up you're ally you've been warned. But if your like me it makes it more enjoyable. You won't be disappointed though it is not the best either, just good :)
