The List

Rate this book
A chance encounter at Miami's bustling waterfront throws MBLIS Agent Ethan Marston into a deadly game of cat and mouse when a desperate stranger hands him evidence of the decade's biggest conspiracy. A massive cover-up. A list of names that powerful people will kill to protect. And now they're hunting Marston too.
With his phone compromised, his own agency on his tail, and professional killers closing in, Marston goes dark with his unwanted companion. His partner Robbie Holm leads the manhunt to bring him in, but unlike the other forces pursuing them, at least Holm wants Marston alive.
Cut off from allies and resources, Marston must keep his paranoid companion alive long enough to expose the truth. But as bodies start dropping and the noose tightens, he begins to realize the stranger's paranoia might be justified. The list is real. The danger is real. And the people on that list will stop at nothing to make sure their secrets stay buried.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't uncovering the truth—it's living long enough to expose it.

Matt Lincoln has lived his entire life on the coast and he wouldn't have it any other way. A lifelong fan of Travis McGee, Magnum PI, and just about anyone who knows their way around a boat and a good cigar, Matt now lives where the sand meets the surf with his beautiful wife, a son who reminds him way too much of himself at that age, and an Irish Setter who he can never seem to tire out. Life is good.

Great Read - Could It Be Happening Today?

I enjoyed this book immensely and recommend it. I think it’s one of Mr Lincoln’s best. I’m sure many will disagree with me, but I think it reflects what’s going on in our current political environment. Whether Mr Lincoln meant that or not, it surely reminds me of today’s billionaires controlling things through their vast amounts of money and influence. Perhaps an over the top version but one with definite hints of power/money corrupts absolutely as they say.

The best book in this series.

Matt! This book was the best you have written so far. Such in depth investigative details. This story could have been ripped from present day headlines. I read this book from cover to cover in one night. Didn't want it to end. Can't wait for the next book!!!!

Best ever story in books 53 & 54 for Matt Lincoln!

Matt Lincoln has been leading up to books 53 and 54 all along.
Wow! What a ride!
The entire cast of characters showed up for this 2-book story.
Its been fun to be alongside to see Matt's storytelling gain the breadth and depth a great story needs for substance.
Way to go, Author!

Love this series!

This series never disappoints. Action filled pages with humor built in. Love the harassment Ethan takes from the team about his love life. Poor Robbie is always getting beat up! Great team and personal interactions.

Can't put Lincoln's book down

Lincoln is an amazing prolific writer. From the second chapter on, you are hooked as Lincoln takes Marston and Holm on many a wild ride. Highly recommend his books.

Wow, just WOW

This story really kept my heart rate up. This has got to be the best story of all 54 books I've read. I don't know how Matt Lincoln is going to top this one. Kudos. Highly recommended.

One of the best.

So relevant. I can see this actually happening in this day and age. Tense and intriguing. Now on to the next adventure. Cuba and St Lucia.

Enjoyed some of this story, but the redundancy throughout was tedious.
